“Who am I? I am Black Blood, daughter of Silver Mist, leader of the Tribe of the Moon. . . And you are about to pay for what you have done to us.” Kai forced his head up and glared into her startling bright green eyes. “I didn’t do anything to you! I’ve never even heard of you! You’ve got the wrong guy!” “Are you not Kai, son of Ray, the Master of Fire, the red ninja, and one of the protectors of Ninjago?” She hissed. “Uh. . . Yeah.” “Then we have the right human, and more.” ***
She stood up and turned to a black and white cat sitting nearby. “Raven Frost, tell Holly Tail and Fire Paw to *** bring the Daughter of Amber to me.” ****
Black Blood gripped his left arm and stared into his eyes. “All will be revealed in good time, Son of Fire.” She purred as she drew the sleeve away, exposing his bare forearm. She raised a hand, and it molded into a black, furry paw. Long, sharp claws unsheathed slowly, and then she swiped smoothly at his skin. Kai gritted his teeth, refusing to show any pain. She inspected her paw and, to his disgust, casually licked at it. “This will prove to be helpful to us. Thank you.” She turned when several people appeared from the dark tunnel entrance. ***
Yeah I'm a little behind...
1. Isn't that the name of the one town in Runaway? 2. Oooh what tragedy did the ninja cause I wonder? And could there be other tribes?... 3. Some of those names sound familiar. 4. Oooh I like that too! 5. Wow.
At least I don't post these parts as quickly as I did with Runaway, eh?
1. Guuurrrlll. . . you're sharp. I didn't think anyone would notice! Yeah, you're right -- and it plays into significance much later on. 2. 3. So what if a certain book series helped give me ideas for some of the names of these creatures? 4. 5. What, a little too gross?
“These two you see before you are the descendants of those who wronged us and our ancestors!
*** Some of them began to chant eerily. “Dark Sleep, Dark Sleep, Dark Sleep, Dark Sleep!”
*** Wind Trotter transformed into a human as he walked up to Black Blood—an elderly man with pale orange hair that must have been fiery red in his youth
1. I'm seeing a few similarities in our stories... Hopefully there's not as many as it looks like. Please don't get mad if there are a lot though... 2. What strange form of torture could this be? 3. This guy sounds cool.
Awesome!! I'm enjoying these sences way to much.
1. Oh, that's pretty interesting. No, I'm not going to get mad. 2. Bad, that's what. 3.
Black Blood turned to Raven Frost and handed the necklace to him. He stepped up to Skylor, holding the crystal up in one hand, and stared at her, murmuring something Kai couldn’t hear. “Leave her alone!” He cried desperately, even though he knew there was no way to stop what was going on. Bang. Bang. Bang. “Dark Sleep. . .Dark Sleep. . .Dark Sleep. . .” Skylor’s eyes suddenly closed and she fell limp in her captors’ arms. ***
“Skylor!” Kai shouted over the chanting as they carried her over to the portal. With a heave of both their arms and Kai’s heart, they tossed her down into the portal leading to who-knows-where. As she fell and disappeared, a burst a cold wind howled from the portal, and snowflakes spewed out and hit him in the face. *** The crowd cheered as the portal closed up. Kai noticed that the transparent crystal ball was now glowing with the color of amber, *** The woman murmured something unintelligible, and though Kai tried to fight it, an irresistible urge to sleep tugged on his eyelids and slowed his breathing. The urge was so strong, he felt that he actually wanted to sleep, but at the same time he felt that something really, really bad would happen to him if he did. He fought feebly, his struggles waning, and soon his eyes closed and he succumbed to the sound of the staffs banging on the floor, cat-creatures chanting, and Black Blood laughing softly. Bang bang bang bang bang bang! “Dark Sleep Dark Sleep Dark Sleep Dark Sleep. . .!!” He fell asleep. . .
*** And found himself in the worst nightmare of his life.

1. Never mind, he not cool, he harmed Skylor. 2. Skylor's gone. Where could that lead? Somewhere cold? 3. Interesting. 4. Reminds me of trying to get up in the morning. 5. Wow, I guess they don't call it Dark Sleep for nothing.
Loving this!! Can't wait to see what happens next!!
1. I did wonder if you'd get mad about that. 2. THE FRIDGE!! 3. :3 4. Yeah, for real.
I decided to be nice today and give you guys another scene. I'm not saying it'll help with that cliffhanger problem, though.
After the ceremony ended and most of the crowd had dispersed, Black Blood sat at the foot of the tall boulder with several other followers, all of them now in their cat forms. “Broken Fang and Raven Frost,” The black she-cat turned to the tawny-colored female and the black-and-white male. “I congratulate you on capturing the Son of Fire and the Daughter of Amber.” The two cats dipped their heads respectfully, looking pleased. “You know what we must do now.” She murmured to the rest of the group. “We must subdue the rest of the Sons and Daughters whom will try to interfere with our search. We will not fail. Eagle Talon,” She turned to a dark brown tabby with green eyes like hers. “Find them. Keep us updated on their whereabouts. Disguise yourself as one of them if you must. If they come our way, warn us and we’ll be ready for them.” The young tom nodded and said. “Got it.” With a flick of his tail, he turned and whisked away into the shadows. The other cats watched him disappear, sitting silently. Then a large, golden-furred tom with a torn ear leaned over to Black Blood and said softly. “Are you sure Eagle Talon is up to the challenge? He’s inexperienced in these missions, and in order for us to succeed, we need the plan to work perfectly.” Black Blood turned to him with cold green eyes and said quietly. “Do you doubt my judgment, Lion Claw?” Lion Claw dipped his head in submission, showing a jagged scar tracing down the back of his broad neck. “Of course not, Black Blood,” He replied smoothly. “I only wondered if he’s ready. Of course I know you wouldn’t risk failure.” The black cat lifted her head. “My brother will do what he and everyone else here has been trained to do; his job. The Sons and Daughters will be conquered.” There was a moment of thoughtful silence. Then she stood up. “Raven Frost, Broken Fang, keep your connections with Fire and Amber. Make them suffer. Sky Pelt, keep searching for signs.” Her voice grew quite somber. “We need the moonstones. All of them. Otherwise, this will all be for naught, and our ancestors will never be avenged.” She paused, then ordered. “Disperse.” The six cats gathered around her nodded and slipped away, some down tunnels, some joining other cats in conversation, others morphing into human forms as they padded away. As the golden tom turned away, Black Blood called. “Lion Claw. A moment, if you will.” Lion Claw turned back curiously, twitching his torn ear. She tilted her head thoughtfully. “Raven Frost and Broken Fang brought back a third prisoner. . . A certain Daughter of No One you know. I’ve been wondering what exactly you plan to do with her.” He arched his whiskers above his eyes. “Any suggestions?” She bared her teeth into a cruel smile. “I know of your hatred for her. She’s useless to me. She’s all yours. Do with her what you will.” Lion Claw purred maliciously, flexing his long, blade-like claws. “Oh, I will. Misako will pay dearly for what she did to me.”
Interesting. Does it last until the necklace is broken or is it only temporary? Also what the heck did the ancestors do to those Cat-People and Dog-People?
I can get a little bad about doing that.
All these things will gradually come to light, curious one. Dog-People?
Good way for you to tell if someone is interested in the book or not.
I don't like that word. Was their not one that someone described as a dog? Or all they all Cats?

Was not expecting this part.
Don't you dare touch her. She is NOT a "No One". *Turns and pouts with my back to the story.*
This is great.
Wait. Connected? Did they take a part of.... their soul?

I was thinking that those stones were like the blue absorption crystal in the Staff of Elements, but now I'm not so sure . . . are these moonstones what they used to steal their power? I'm guessing that that stone in Cliff Gordon's Villa was a moonstone.

1. Ok good. I guess they're bound to be a bit simalr anyway since they're both Ninjago fan fictions. 2. I see.
