1. Never mind, he not cool, he harmed Skylor. 2. Skylor's gone. Where could that lead? Somewhere cold? 3. Interesting. 4. Reminds me of trying to get up in the morning. 5. Wow, I guess they don't call it Dark Sleep for nothing.
Loving this!! Can't wait to see what happens next!!
1. I did wonder if you'd get mad about that. 2. THE FRIDGE!! 3. :3 4. Yeah, for real.
I decided to be nice today and give you guys another scene. I'm not saying it'll help with that cliffhanger problem, though.
*** Eagle Talon,” She turned to a dark brown tabby with green eyes like hers. “Find them. Keep us updated on their whereabouts. Disguise yourself as one of them if you must. If they come our way, warn us and we’ll be ready for them.” The young tom nodded and said. “Got it.” With a flick of his tail, he turned and whisked away into the shadows. The other cats watched him disappear, sitting silently. Then a large, golden-furred tom with a torn ear leaned over to Black Blood and said softly. “Are you sure Eagle Talon is up to the challenge? He’s inexperienced *** “We need the moonstones. All of them.
*** Lion Claw purred maliciously, flexing his long, blade-like claws. “Oh, I will. Misako will pay dearly for what she did to me.”

I leave you on cliffhangers, you leave me on cliffhangers. It's something us writers do.
1. Now this guy looks like a game changer. 2. There's more then one!?! ( I probably already knew that but forgot, didn't I? ) 3. What did you do to the poor cat Misako?! I always knew you had a dark side! I should really remember who are the good guys here.
* * * There was a moment of thoughtful silence. Then she stood up. “Raven Frost, Broken Fang, keep your connections with Fire and Amber. Make them suffer. Sky Pelt, keep searching for signs.” Her voice grew quite somber. “We need the moonstones. All of them. Otherwise, this will all be for naught, and our ancestors will never be avenged.” She paused, then ordered. “Disperse.” The six cats gathered around her nodded and slipped away, some down tunnels, some joining other cats in conversation, others morphing into human forms as they padded away. As the golden tom turned away, Black Blood called. “Lion Claw. A moment, if you will.” Lion Claw turned back curiously, twitching his torn ear. She tilted her head thoughtfully. “Raven Frost and Broken Fang brought back a third prisoner. . . A certain Daughter of No One you know. I’ve been wondering what exactly you plan to do with her.” He arched his whiskers above his eyes. “Any suggestions?” She bared her teeth into a cruel smile. “I know of your hatred for her. She’s useless to me. She’s all yours. Do with her what you will.” Lion Claw purred maliciously, flexing his long, blade-like claws. “Oh, I will. Misako will pay dearly for what she did to me.”

I was thinking that those stones were like the blue absorption crystal in the Staff of Elements, but now I'm not so sure . . . are these moonstones what they used to steal their power? I'm guessing that that stone in Cliff Gordon's Villa was a moonstone.
What did Misako do to Lion Claw?
The moonstones hold a strange power that I am not yet able to reveal. . . but yes, the stone Jay discovered in Cliff Gordon's place was indeed one of them.
At least I don't post these parts as quickly as I did with Runaway, eh?
1. Guuurrrlll. . . you're sharp. I didn't think anyone would notice! Yeah, you're right -- and it plays into significance much later on. 2. 3. So what if a certain book series helped give me ideas for some of the names of these creatures? 4. 5. What, a little too gross?
Yeah. I'm still impressed how quickly you wrote that.
1. Thanks. Oh ok, gotcha. 5. No no, I like it! ( should I have said that? )
200 HUNDRED PAGES IN 2 MONTHS, BABY!!!
5. Well, if I'm being honest, some scenes might get a little RED.

An eye for an eye, a cliffhanger for a cliffhanger.
1. More than you think. . . 2. (Nah, I don't think I said there were more. You're good. ) 3. Heh, heh.
