I do, too. . . But I've begun to tell myself to stop and just accept that everything's gone.
I wonder some times if we should contact customer service, as no one said that it was going to be taken down. . . .
I believe ninjagofanmam did, and even though the person she talked to acted as if it wasn't supposed to happen, nobody's really going to do anything about it.
The captors forced the red-haired girl to her knees just as they did with him, making her grunt when she hit the floor. Her hands were bound behind her back, and a gag was wrapped over her mouth. When she lifted her head he saw that she looked utterly exhausted; strands of hair fell free from her ponytail, dark circles were under her eyes, her face was smeared in dirt, and there was a little gash above one of her eyebrows. Her green eyes widened at the sight of Kai, and she tried to mumble something through the gag. “Let her go!” Kai snarled and struggled under his guards’ grips. “If you lay one hairy finger on her, I swear I’ll—!” “What?” Black Blood cocked her head innocently, eyes wide. “You mean like this?” At that she swiped at Skylor’s face, making the latter shriek from under her gag. “Or do you mean like this?” Then she clawed at her back that was bent over in the crouched position, but Skylor shut her eyes, looking as if she was resisting the urge to cry out in pain. “Stop it!” Kai shouted. “Or did you mean like this?” Black Blood took Skylor’s left arm, still bound together, and swiped her claws at that. The latter grimaced under her gag and glared bitterly at the cat-creature. “Stop it!!” Kai shoved himself away from his guards, still on his knees. “Do what you want with me, but don’t hurt her! I’ll do anything!” His shrill cry echoed desperately throughout the cavern. “You and your ancestors have already done more than enough!” Black Blood snarled with sudden anger. “It’s time for me to do something! Wind Trotter!” She turned to a calico cat with yellow eyes crouching on a crevice behind her nearby the huge boulder. “Fetch the Traveler’s Tea.” Kai’s eyes widened at the sound of the familiar name of the tea whilst Wind Trotter nodded and disappeared into the shadows. “Traveler’s Tea?! What are you—?” Black Blood ignored him and stepped up to the audience. Kai and Skylor’s captors forced them to turn around and face the jeering cat-creatures in the cavern. Kai tried to catch Skylor’s eye, but her gaze was transfixed by the sight of the hundreds of cats caterwauling and waving their tails. Black Blood lifted her head and cried. “These two you see before you are the descendants of those who wronged us and our ancestors! A Son of Fire and a Daughter of Amber, offspring of thieves and marauders! They must pay for their sins!” As the crowd cheered and yowled its approval, Kai exclaimed. “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Don’t you think this is a little unfair?!” “Yes.” Black Blood said. Kai blinked. She sneered at him, baring fanged teeth. “What better way to have our revenge than to punish your ancestors by taking vengeance on their offspring?” “I don’t even know what we did!” He exclaimed in exasperation. “If I’m going to be punished, at least tell me why!” She ignored him and turned back to the crowd. “What shall I do with the Son of Fire and Daughter of Amber?” The creatures of both forms caterwauled and jeered. “Destroy them!” “Throw them in the underground river!” “Starve them!” “Imprison them for life!” “Throw them to the sea!” “The Dark Sleep! Give them the Dark Sleep!” Smiling broadly, Black Blood raised her pale arms for silence, and the calls died down. “I have a better idea.” She paused to make sure she had everyone’s attention, then hissed. “The Son of Fire has dedicated his life to protecting Ninjago and his loved ones who live in it, and the Daughter of Amber has a similar reputation.” Her eyes narrowed. “What better way to punish them than to separate them from all that they love and cast them into a different world, trapped in the Dark Sleep?” At this the cat-creatures cheered and yowled louder than ever, throwing back their heads in triumphant wails and waving their tails with excitement. Some of them began to chant eerily. “Dark Sleep, Dark Sleep, Dark Sleep, Dark Sleep!” Kai had no idea what this “Dark Sleep” was, but it sure didn’t sound good. His and Skylor’s eyes met. She looked scared, but there was a sort of fierce determination in her gaze; no doubt she was looking for any possible means of escape. He winced at the sight of her wounds, and opened his mouth to say something, but movement from behind him made him turn. Wind Trotter was returning, carrying some kind of leather pouch around his neck. He was followed by a couple other cats, and Kai gasped when he recognized the tawny cat from Mister Chen’s that Skylor had thought was a stray. The cat gave him a wicked grin and sat neatly at the foot of the boulder. Wind Trotter transformed into a human as he walked up to Black Blood—an elderly man with pale orange hair that must have been fiery red in his youth—and took the pouch from his neck and placed it in her outstretched hand. The crowd fell to a hush as Black Blood raised the pouch up to show them, then lowered it. She took a few steps forward in the center of the room, urging the creatures in cat and human forms to slightly edge back. She turned to one side, gently tilted over the pouch, and let a splash of glowing liquid fall to the rocky floor. The tea fell with an odd hiss, and the shining liquid morphed into a circular, spinning shape. The bright, flickering colors lit of the cavern eerily, and the creatures murmured and whispered among themselves. Black Blood turned away from the spinning colors and did the same. Two portals now swam in the ground before her, side by side. She lifted her head, turned to the prisoners, and nodded at Skylor’s guards. Wordlessly they began to drag her over to the first portal. Her eyes grew wide, she exclaimed something unintelligible under her gag, and began to squirm and struggle. Kai gasped when he realized what they were about to do. “NO!! You can’t do that!” He snarled furiously and struggled with the two men. Their grips were like iron, but Kai stepped on one man’s foot, making him screech, and punched the other in the jaw. His captors reeled back, stunned, and Kai, finding new energy at the prospect of losing Skylor, charged Black Blood. “Ninjaaa-GO—!” He began to spin, but the cat woman slashed her claws at him, causing him to stumble. He tried to get up, but the others leapt at him and grabbed him, shoving him down. As the guards once again wrestled him to a kneeling position, she hissed. “Stay down if you know what’s good for you, Son of Fire.”
