They eventually came to a road and crossed it. Just before they ran into the forest on the other side though Jadyn said. " Wait. " " What is it? " Asked Zephyr. " I have a cumication device in my bag, if we follow this road and figure out where we are I can call Copic to come pick us up and drive us home. " repiled Jadyn. Zephyr, Nathan and Moe agreed to this and they followed the road. However they stayed under the cover of the dark forest to avoid being followed. They eventually reached a road sign after a long while that told them where they were. Jadyn called Copic and after explaining everything he could she agreed to help them. But now they had to wait. Zephyr wondered if the pack was hunting them right now. She wasn't worried for herself because she knew they'd probably just lock her up again. But she was concerned about Jadyn, Moe and Nathan. The pack had seemed all to delighted to get their hands on them. What they had in mind Zephyr didn't dare imagine, especially after what Alpha had told her... " So... Are you really Alpha's granddaughter? " Asked Jadyn Suddenly. " Yes. " She replied. " Did you know? " " No... "

She had tried opening the door, she figured it was worth a try. She had tried pulling the bars off the window, the bars were new and strong, it would take years to be able to get them off by normal human force. Of course her powers didn't work on the vengestone bars. She tried seeing if her head would fit through the bars, it obviously didn't work. She checked the room for secret passageways, nothing, not even in the wardrobe or under the bed. There was one of those portable toilet thingys under the bed though. She had searched the room to see if she could find any small metal objects she could pick the lock with. Her knife was to big, plus there was nothing other than the screws keeping the bed together, which she would have to find a way to demolish the bed if she wanted to get to those, which seemed a shame considering the bed looked well built and in nice shape. What was she thinking?! It didn't matter if she destroyed the furniture, even if it did look expensive. *** Now what? She was sure how to use force. Maybe if she brought it back and then positioned the gravity so that it would be like she was dropping the wardrobe on the door maybe that would work. However she realized the bed was in the way, so she put down the wardrobe and lifted and moved the bed in front of the window. Then she lifted the wardrobe again and brought it all the way to the opposite wall of the door.

Some pack members were talking to each other, while others were still howling for the joy of it. " Everyone be quiet and calm down. " Said Kent. Moe leaned over and asked. " Do you think you could use gravity to get us out through the skylights? " Zephyr didn't know, it was a brilliant idea, but could she do It? She'd never tried using it on more than one person. Unless she just modified the gravity on spot they were standing on. It would take focus, but it wasn't impossible. " I can try. " She replied. The pack had quieted down now, and were now all paying attention as Kent informed them that they would only capture them for now and figure out what to do with them once they were contained and Alpha had decided what was best. It was now or never Zephyr realized. She concentrated on tampering with the gravity around herself and her friends. She felt the power working as they all lifted off the ground and up to the nearest skylight. The pack members below made remakes of surprise and some even of anger. She ignored them though as they went up through the skylight and onto the roof. Once she was pretty sure everyone had their footing she released them all to the normal gravity. Zephyr was exhausted from doing that, but they had to still get out of the area. They made thier way across the roof until they reached a slope in the rock, which they half slid and half climbed down. They then made a beeline for the forest. Jadyn stopped and pulled a backpack out from under a bush and then they all started running into the forest. Zephyr wasn't sure if any of them had a plan about where they were going, they just ran. Even though all they wanted was to do anything but run.

It was silence for awhile after that, mostly because they were all tired, and not to mention they were still trying to be somewhat quiet in case they were being hunted. Finally Copic arrived and they all climbed into her van. " What fun have you guys been having out here without me? " Asked Copic cheerfully as they closed the doors and drove off. They mostly answered Copic's questions and that was about it for talk on the drive back to the dojo. Zephyr's mind was a blur. They finally made it home to the dojo, Lisa was awake and let them inside. " Zephyr you're ok!" She said as she hugged her tightly the moment she saw her. Everyone went inside, including Copic. " How's Sensei? " Asked Zephyr. " He's in bed recovering from the fight, they were hard on him but he's doing quite well. He woke up shortly after the guys left. " repiled Lisa. " So what happened to you? " Asked Lisa. Zephyr explained what happened the best she could and explained what she dared to of what Alpha told her. She found herself wanting to leave out some of the details about her wolf ancestors and the part about them almost all smashing at the hands of elemental masters. She wasn't sure why, she just was afraid to share it with them all, but she told them nonetheless, with very little detail. She did tell them about how her parents met and about how they had been in hiding for twenty years in Hiroshi's Labyrinth. She was very brief about explaining what happened to Gravis. Plus she told them about how she had grown up in Hiroshi's Labyrinth and how she had been told to stay secret about it. Moe asked how Sensei had found her if she had been in hiding and Zephyr explained that as well. Once she had finished explaining everything she ended off on telling them that Alpha knew her family lived in Hiroshi's Labyrinth. Also that he would find a way to find them either way and she needed to help them escape and find a better hiding place as soon as possible. " Well, that explains a LOT. " Said Copic once she had finished speaking.
" Do you know where your family is in Hiroshi's Labyrinth? " Asked Jadyn. " Not exactly, I couldn't point it out on a map. But with travelers tea I could get to the exact location. " She replied. " What if Alpha and the pack are tracking you somehow though? " Asked Nathan. " What if he wanted you to escape so you could lead him right to your family? " He was right, that did sound like something Alpha might do. " Isn't there a way to pre decide your location with travelers tea so that someone who's never been there before can get there No matter what? " Asked Zephyr. "There is! I know all about that! "Said Copic. "Then could we send you all to my home and I can go somewhere else I know of in Hiroshi's Labyrinth. " Said Zephyr. Lisa nodded and said. " It could work, we're not sure if he's tracking you though, or if he is how because he doesn't have that device you spoke of. And we wouldn't let you go alone. " " Either way, can I risk going right to them? " " How about we discuss what to do with Sensei in the morning, all of us need rest. " Said Lisa. Everyone agreed, Zephyr reluctantly, but she guessed it was unlikely that Alpha would discover her family so soon after she escaped. Copic said she'd stay up and keep watch while everyone slept, saying it was a good thing she'd brought her own caffeine and music along to keep her awake. Zephyr tried to to tell herself to sleep but of course she ended up tossing and turning for most of the night. She must have feel asleep at some point though because soon enough it was morning and she was actually finally resting well. She told herself to get up, reminding herself of everything she'd learned in the past day or so. Reluctantly she left her bed and got ready for the day ahead. The bettle was crawling on the floor for some reason today with was strange, however she didn't have time to find out why.
