Max paused before opening the door to Alpha's favorite training room where he usually spent his time training students and talking with pack members. Max was unsure of how this was going to go, he never ment for all his workers to attack and reveal their cover. He'd actually left them in the first place so he could contact Alpha and ask him what to do, since it wasn't every day that one of the most powerful elemental masters in world shows up at your secret mineing sight with his students. It was just to temping for his workers, he never should have left them. Of course it wasn't like Alpha had assigned the best and brightest for the simple task of mineing, Max could tell early on that most of the new miners had lost the good part of their minds long ago. He just hopped Alpha would forgive him, he had, after all, gathered useful information about Lloyd's new students. He opened the door. It was as dark as usual, Alpha was on the slightly raised part of the room and Gamma was speaking with him. " Don't you worry... " said Gamma horsely, " We will find him. " He then walked toward the door slowly and stiffly on his walking stick. Max opened the door for him. " Max. " said Gamma in greeting. " Would you come talk to me later? " " Of course. " replied Max. The old man left the room and Max closed the door behind him. Max walked over to Alpha and stood in front of him. " I take it it didn't go well? Alright, tell me the bad news. " Alpha said almost boredly. Max took a knee and said. " The mine collapsed... The green ninja and his students escaped and now know we exist... And... We lost five warriors... " " What?! Ahhhgggerraaaahhhh! " Alpha cried in anguish, his cry echoing through the den. He paused and closed his eye for a moment. "I take it most of you did the Mourners Cry? " "Yes. " said Max. Alpha opened his eye and sighed. " We'll do a funeral tonight. Who'd we lose? " Max thought for a second, then said "The twins, Psi, Chi and old Hagga. "

" Hagga you say? She's been around as long as can remember, however she was starting to lose her sanity... " Alpha looked thoughtful. " The twins would always argue, I thought they'd make great warriors someday though... Chi, a hothead, but he was so eger to please. And Psi, he was so quite, I never learned much about him... " " Alpha looked thoughtful for another moment. " Who were Lloyd's students? Did they have elemental powers yet? Spinjizu? " Here comes my chance to redeem myself. Thought Max. " I thought you might be interested in that, so I checked the files and pulled out the ones I thought matched his students best. " He handed the files to Alpha. " You might want to update these. Oh, and I couldn't find a match for one of them... " "Who? " asked Alpha curiously. " A girl, blonde hair with blue dyed streaks, her gi was blue with some green, so it's hard to say what element she had. She looked to be about eighteen years old. Couldn't match her to any of the files. " " Interesting. " said Alpha thoughtfully. He squinted his eye at the files for a moment before saying. " I'll have read these later in good light." " Another thing about the girl, one of the warriors who wishes to remain anonymous said she has possession of a knife that much resembles ours. So even though the warrior could have smashed her she choose not to just in case... " "What?" said Alpha suddenly looking interested. " Who is this student I wonder? What do you know Lloyd?.. " He said thoughtfully gazing off at nothing. He then looked at Max and said. " One more question since I'm burning to know. Was there perhaps a young man, maybe nearly eighteen years of age, red hair, element of fire perhaps? He might have had a scar on the right side of his face. " " Yes actually, he was exactly like you describe. That's why I pulled out the file that's on the bottom there. Oh and no elements were used by the students, just spinjizu." said Max. Alpha grinned, tracing his hand over his burned face. " Ironic, simply ironic. " He chuckled.
Those Pack miners are creepy. . . Yet, it's strange and neat how they do this Mourning Howl for their enemies.
OH SNAP LOOK OUT
A Pack knife?? Dad, you been keeping secrets. . . ! O3O
O.o She used her element. . . !
Of course Jadyn was worried. :3 Moe, you stinker.
I shouldn't read so fast, it's over too soon.
Outstanding, NFM! I thought the scene in the cave and the scuffle with the mysterious Pack warrior were great, and-- well, you saw my other reactions. That, my friend, was a more than excellent moar.
Thank you! ( I'd say something about some of your comments however I can't think of anything non spoilery to say at the moment. )
You're welcome! (Don't worry, I know the feeling all too well. )

I didn't want to feel bad for them. . . and now I do. . . wat. . .? O_O

His scar is mostly covered by his hair so it's hardly noticeable from a distance. I've drawn him a lot of times and forget his scar a lot.
