Yeah, not sure where to start finding stuff out though. I could probably ask my mom or dad, they'd probably tell me to call my dad's cousin or something.
Um . . . I just started looking. I tracked my ancestors by what they're names were and when and where they were born, and saw who they're parents and grandparents and great-grandparents were.
You should probably call your dad's cousin. It helps.
Interesting, you make it sound easy.
I tried looking on some websites, but they were no use. I asked my parents, and they of course said that my dad's cousin knows the most. Maybe I'll try to get a hold of her sometime. But my dad did say that I'm related to a general from the Civil War. I looked him up and he was also the 1st Mayor of San Francisco, the 3rd Territorial Governor of Kansas, and the 16th Governor of Pennsylvania. He was also appnently a Teacher, Clerk, Land Speculator, Engineer and Soldier. And he fought in the Mexican-American War along with the American Civil War on the Union side. So I guess that's pretty cool.

Zephyr was running, faster and freer then ever. She was in forest with hardly any foliage. The trees were nowhere near as tall as the ones in Hiroshi's Labyrinth, but they were close enough together so their branches touched. The landscape beyond the trees she could not quite make out. There was something odd yet wonderful about this place, it was peaceful and she felt safe and at home. But there was something strange about... herself. She stopped running and looked down at her feet, only they weren't her feet, they were paws. Confused she picked one of her paws off the ground to examine it and realized she was standing on all fours. Also she realized that her paw was like that of a dog's. She swerved her ear in the derection for a noise that sounded like water nearby. She trotted over to it to find a stream. She looked into the water and a creature with dark gray fur, green eyes and a dog-like face looked back. She had seen dogs before, her aunt used to have one in fact. But this particular creature she had only ever seen in books, movies and other froms of visual viewing. A wolf. It was a wolf, she was a wolf, it was her reflection. She leaned closer to water tail wagging. Until the water started splashing up at her and into her eyes. Zephyr stumbled backwards-
and awoke. Zephyr blinked, water was falling into her face. It took her a moment to realize that it was raining. She suddenly came to realization that if they didn't act soon everything could get soaked! She quickly got out of her sleeping bag, rolled it up and put it in the wagon. Gavin and Keegan must have been woken up to because they started packing stuff in the wagon as the rain started to come down a bit harder. Keegan put the tent over the stuff in the wagon to keep it dry. Zephyr did put her backpack in the wagon this time. Keegan then pulled out three rain ponchos, handed them out and said "We might as well get going, it's morning anyway. Isn't it nice to be woken up by the rain? One time me and my grandfather-" he kept talking from there. Zephyr wished she could go back to her dream, it had been so nice. Eventually as the day wore on the rain stopped, they kept walking, taking breaks now and then. Eveanully pasted a newer suburban village. But they didn't stay long, they had to keep moving. Zephyr didn't like that as long as they walked there wasn't any trees. She wasn't used to being so out in open so long and felt like at any moment someone could attack them. Her father's voice echoed in her mind. Stay secret, stay strong, and stay alert. Finally a tree came into view, but once they got close she realized it wad dead.. . A black bird, maybe a raven? Was perched on one of it's branches. It looked down at them without fear, as if it knew the humans below could not climb the trunk of it's resting place. It blinked at Zephyr several times before it started to groom itself. "Let's keep moving. You know I saw a whole flock of birds like that once when I-" Keegan talked on as they kept walking. On the bright side at least Keegan made things not so dull when they were, but on the not so bright side he was always trying to keep them moving when Zephyr just wanted to enjoy her surroundings or rest. She looked back to see if the bird was still there, right when she did it took to the air and flew in the derection they were heading until it was out of sight. Later once it was dark and they were all tried. They ate and went to bed. Zephyr was eager to get to sleep, she doubted that she would have a dream as good as the past two times she'd dreamt, but it was possible. Then again she could just have a weird dream about underwear or something, or no dream at all. She didn't exactly care though, she was so tired from walking...

Oh, well, yeah, if you think about it like that. Gah, I dunno, not I'm thinking of the guy who wrote Alice in Wonderland! I'm getting all my historical figures mixed up!
And maybe we're both decedents of one of his sons. Is he one of your ancestors?

#1: Zephyr dreams she's a wolf and instead of being freaked out she thinks it's cool? That sounds like me! Guurrrrlll, you're my Ninjago OC soulmate!!
#2: So I'm not the only one who has dreams like that?

It is easy!
Is that John White Geary?
If you say so.
Yes! That's his name exactly! ( how'd you figure that out exactly? I'm curious. ) He'd be from my dad's mom's side of the family. So I don't have the same last name, but I do have relatives with that last name.
Hi guys! Is it ok if I jump into the conversation too?
Of course! Jump on in -- I'll catch you!
Yay! *Jumps*
My ancestors on my Moms side came over to the U.S. on the Mayflower. And my Dad's came on the next ship, so there ancestors probably met! Which is kinda crazy when you think about it.
Also I'm really excited for my family may get to go to England for three months. (Ironic thats the exact place my ancestors were trying to get away from...)

#1. Glad you like. It would be awesome to have a dream like that! Luckily this isn't the last we see of Zephyr's dreams...
