His original body was better. His Titanium body is cool, but it serves as a reminder that Zane sacrificed his original body. If the Overlord lived, it would be pointless.
It's not useless because the overlord was stopped from destroying ninjago, even if he's still there. Also its simple opinion that the original is better. The Titanium one had many more features that were able to assist him!
Well I think the original was better, because it had fake yellow skin which made him look more like a LEGO minifigure.

The titanium body body is also awesome, though.
Well wouldn't it be weird if a robot had yellow skin? I mean he looks like what he is when he's titanium.

I agree, making Zane appear human while having robotic abilities is part of his charm.
I hope at some point we discover a different realm the Overlord lives in but can travel out of when he gains power in Ninjago. This does seem to have been hinted at.
I think that if he's alive, he should be trapped in another realm, and if the Ninja want to fight him, they have to go there. At least that would be somewhat fair.
Perhaps Zane's sacrifice unleashed enough power to send the Overlord to another realm, and the villains there use him to power a portal to Ninjago. That realm is a forbidden realm that could damage the balance greatly if it interacts with the other realms. The final, ultimate battle begins.
Of course, I based this off a fan-made idea for Ninjago 2015 introducing an evil version of Ninjago.

That would be interesting. Also, I just though of something: in the evil version of Ninjago, there would be a good underworld beneath it, and all the skeletons from that realm would be good instead of evil.
