2. I know. 3. Every Ninjago fan fiction needs an "aww" moment.
2. Do you really think he'd eat the packing peanuts? (Besides, I headcanon him to be smarter than he looks. Possibly even a genius.) XD 3. Ditto. Especially with all the action and angst...
2. With Jay, you never can tell. (Just kidding. Jay isn't an idiot. ) 3. Which makes those "aww" moments even cuter.
Upon finishing tending to Lloyd, I began to focus on treating my own wounds, managing to wrap bandages around my head despite my untamed hair, and then proceeding to cut the gauze with my teeth after wrapping my hands. My leg had been hit too, so I bandaged any cuts. I looked in the mirror and ran a hand through my copper curls.
"Jay," Lloyd said, "I remember Hanna too, so maybe I could help you and Zane look for her."
I smiled softly as I turned to him. "Really?"
"Yeah," he replied. "Even if I technically can't use my arm anymore."
I chuckled. "Wu always told me to turn my weaknesses into strengths. Maybe this will make your right arm stronger."
Lloyd smiled at me and stood. "I think Zane's serving dinner by now. We should go out."
I nodded, standing up as he followed. Cole nearly tackled me as soon as I showed my face.
"How could you just disappear like that?" he asked, crossing his arms. "You could have told me you were gonna go!"
"I was finding Lloyd," I replied. "He snuck out and I was just too worried! I couldn't just leave him behind when any number of bad things could happen to him!"
Nya giggled at my accent, and I blushed.
"Lloyd." Cole turned to the blonde. "Explain."
"Remember that girl we talked about who got lost in time?" Lloyd replied. "I thought I could get some information from Borg." He held up the mildly singed file folder.
"Then why is your arm in a sling?" he replied, eyeing my medical work.
"Oh," Lloyd replied. "Elevator accident."
"What about you, Jay? Why are you talking in a weird accent?" Cole bit his lip as he glared at me, waiting for an answer.
"I, ah...hit my-"
"Don't lie to me, Jason Michael Walker-Gordon. You know how well I know you."
"I think it was the time vortex. I think it may have changed something else about me. I want it fixed, but why would we go back in time just to make me talk normal? It's just not important enough, is it?" I looked up at him. "Cole, if your voice changed, you wouldn't go back in time to change it back, would you? You've got to have an answer, you're the responsible one!“
"To be honest, it would really depend. I wouldn't mind if my voice got a little deeper with age, but if it sounded ridiculous, I'd change it," he replied.
"I don't sound ridiculous, do I?" I felt my face grow warm.
"No, Jay. You sound fine," Cole replied.
"Your voice is quite alright with me," Zane added.
"It's kinda cute," Nya added, making my face only burn hotter.
"Pakistani, right?" Kai replied. "Your voice is decent, but nowhere near as good as mine."
I chuckled.
"Anyways, I'm sorry you both had to experience that," Nya said, hugging us both tightly. I snuck a kiss onto her cheek, making her turn pink and giggle cutely. (Gosh, did I ever mention how adorable her laugh is?)
"I apologize sincerely for your untimely injuries," Zane agreed. "Borg's elevators have malfunctioned quite a few times. He is still trying his best to fix them."
Lloyd sighed. "I made a mistake by choosing that one in the first place."
"At least you found me!" I replied. "If you hadn't, I would have been in there alone! It was less scary with you around."
Nya seemed to turn pink again.
"Nya? Are you alright? You look a little...pink," I stated, gently touching her face.
"Y-yeah...fine." She nervously glanced around. "I just...I'm not used to you sounding...like that..."
I felt warm inside again. "You mean...you like how I sound now?"
"Yeah, it's kind of...cute, I guess," Nya replied, looking away bashfully. It was surprising to see her so love-struck like she was; it was usually me.
I smiled at her softly. "If you like it, I guess I won't be so self-conscious."
She giggled sweetly. "Now I wish I had an accent," she whispered softly.
(So...what do you guys think of that Jaya moment? Should Jay keep the accent for a while or return to normal? Also, what ideas do you have for roles of characters like Cole and Kai? Should PIXAL, Skylor and other side characters appear?)

OK, how'd I miss those last parts?! Well, I'm all caught up now, and I'm brimming with questions. . .
How did Hanna disappear? Will Nadakhan return? Did Acronix and Krux have something to do with this? Are these odd little changes because of the time-stream being messed up? Is the Pakistani accent Jay now has a reference to The Lego Ninjago Movie? Why does Cyrus Borg, the ultimate master of Ninjago's technology, have malfunctioning elevators? Is Jay's middle name a reference to the actor who voices him? Do you have enough patience to answer all of my questions?
All right, now to answer your questions.
I thought the Jaya moment was a bit cute. Of course, I do hope it'll be clear that Nya loves Jay for who he is, and won't deliberately pressure him to be different. Unless his accent doesn't really contribute anything to the story, I say keep it. You've made the change, might as well stick with it for a while. I don't really know about Kai and Cole. . . to honest, I'm still trying to see how the general plot-line is supposed to go; you know, who the villain(s) is/are, what their strategy is, Hanna's role to play, the ninjas' part to play both as a team and as individuals -- really the whole point of the story.
Side characters like that making an appearance are always fun, but it helps if they have a point in the story. PIXAL could show up because Zane needs some technical help, or she aids the ninja from the Destiny's Bounty 's computers. Skylor could show up because she has information the ninja need, or she needs help, or the bad guy kidnaps her to use as a bargaining chip. Ronin could show up because the ninja need something from his store, or he returns to a life of crime and finds himself working with the ninjas' enemy, or he could know something about the enemy and help the ninja. The possibilities are endless.
(I liked the TNM references, by the way, even if I haven't seen the movie yet. )

I have yet to come up with something, but for now, she's lost in time. Probably not. I still haven't figured out any NEW villains or anything. Krux and Acronix may show up though. Maybe. We still have to wait and see. Yeah. I think. Lloyd hitting puberty was natural though. And Jay just grew his hair out and stopped wearing concealer on his freckles. Uh...it was just one elevator at that time, and it was probably a virus or something broken in it that he didn't have time to fix. He is a busy man, after all. Yeah, the accent is a TLNM reference. Maybe, but I also looked up middle names for "Jason." XD Yes. XD
Heheh...yeah. That's basically Nya. Confident, strong and supportive. I feel like if his voice returns, I could totally do it in the form of voice cracks or "glitches." But for now, Jay's speaking with an accent. Yeah. I guess I should really see how this goes for the other ninja to play a big part. Yeah, or they could either visit Dareth's bar or Dareth himself comes selling Dareth Puffs. XD Kidding.
Yeah....you would enjoy it. Ignore the reviews. I mean, it has it's weak points, but it's really enjoyable and fun!
I couldn't help but love the way he spoke now. If whoever had done this had attempted to humiliate him, it wasn't working. Jay sounded beautiful.
Snapping back to attention, I heard Lloyd say, "We have to get her back at all costs! She's one of us. She's family. We can't let her down!"
"We haven't had breakfast yet," Jay said.
Lloyd sighed. "Here. For the mission." He handed each of us a white paper bag filled with food. "It's best to head out as soon as possible. You never know when we'll find her."
"How do you know that? She could be anywhere!" Cole cut in.
"Exactly," Lloyd replied. "That's why we're heading out early. Jay, Nya, you two take the air and the rooftops. You never know if she travels above ground."
"On it, Master Lloyd," we chorused.
"Kai, Cole, you check downtown. Look in every corridor. Even behind buildings if you have to. Just FIND HER."
"Yes, Master Lloyd," Cole and Kai followed.
"Zane," Lloyd added, "you scan the city from anywhere you can and report any findings."
"Very well." Zane bowed. "I will do my best."
"And I will search for answers," Lloyd concluded. "If it's not the Hands of Time, who knows who it is?"
Jay and I head out immediately, putting on our ninja "uniforms" of color-coded hoodies, turtlenecks (to serve as face masks) and pants. We used Airjitzu to get to the top of the first roof, where we looked out. We patrolled the area, Jay not far behind from me. "Stay close, Jay," I muttered. "Don't stray. Focus."
"I know," he replied. "I'm doing my best." His voice was a bit higher, and not out of nerve; it was almost as if it was turning back.
I could feel him trying to get even closer to me, to cling to me, as he did often. To be respectful, I wouldn't call him a coward, but he was...fearful.
"We should rest, Jay, once we get to a point," I breathed. "I'm already tired."
"Tell me about it," Jay replied, his accent starting to go away, replaced with his native, Canadian-American accent, which I admittedly thought was pretty cute as well, in combination with his youthful voice.
As soon as we stopped, we took a breather, sitting on the roof of a local shop wherever we could find a good spot. "You brought breakfast, didn't you?"
Jay pulled out the paper bag. "Yeah. Why wouldn't I? I know to come prepared with stuff like this." He opened it and pulled out the contents: a wrapped breakfast crossiant with sausage, egg and cheese; a bottle of milk, the lid tightly closed; and a cup of fresh fruit. "Wow! Thanks, Lloyd!" He bit into the sandwich. "Huh. Never thought he knew how to cook."
"It's a simple recipe, Jay, and besides, he and Zane are working on it." I pulled out the same thing and ate quietly. Finishing the sandwich, I said, "Not the most portable breakfast. I'm glad we stopped early."
Jay tipped some milk into his mouth. "Not the best for my stomach either, but it's good, right?"
"You're lactose intolerant?" I turned to face him.
"Yeah. I drink milk for the calcium though." Jay sighed. "It's not like it'll slow me down." He sipped some more. "Wait...I recognize that slightly different taste...thank goodness, it's lactose free!" He kept drinking. "Nya...there's this burning thought in my head I've been dying to get out."
"Yeah?" I turned from the food.
"I was just thinking...about Hanna..."
"And...?"
"I've been thinking she was acting suspicious while she was with us."
I nearly spit out my drink. "WHAT!?"
"I mean, she was so quiet and reclusive, which is normal for her, but she was kind of acting...wonky." Jay folded his arms over his knees, raised from his sitting position. "Like, when something happened, she was...slow to react. And she kept...seeming to do things behind our backs. Do you think she could have disappeared on purpose? I mean, I thought she was just in her own world, but it's like she's hiding something. Something big. Something that would...change the way we see her."
"Oh, Jay," I observed, "your voice is back."
"Oh, heheh...really?" He lightly touched his throat, chuckling. "Anyways, have you noticed anything odd going on with her?"
"Yeah," I answered truthfully. "Like how she stayed behind when we were going to that movie, and she wasn't even the slightest bit unsettled when Nadakhan returned. It almost seemed as if she was...expecting him."
Jay gasped, his eyes widening, pupils dilating as if he had seen a great amount of darkness. "This couldn't mean..."
"...could she have been the one to..." I added.
"...she summoned him?"
Note: Ooh, plot twist! Expect for Hanna to return acting even MORE suspicious. Maybe they shouldn't be out to get her back...but maybe out to...stop her?

Thanks for taking the time to answer all that. #DARETHPUFFS!!! Would I? I've heard so many conflicting reports about it; it looks like one half of the fandom loves the movie to pieces, and the other half hates with a bitter passion. I really want to see it so I can decide for myself.

How do I...how do I act that out, do I flail around or something? Jay: You've never been hurt before? Lloyd: No, I just...I've never lost feeling in my arm. How do I...? Jay: Just act like your arm is asleep. Lloyd: Okay, do I make snoring noises with my arm or... --- Jay: Yeah, I'm lactose intolerant. I feel like I could die right now, like, why the heck did Lloyd even pack me milk in the first place? I think we have to rest for like three more hours. Nya: Uh...want some medicine? --- Lloyd: MEeeEEOwWWWWWWTHrA! Jay: Uh...you okay? Lloyd: Yeah, just practicing for another fanfic Z&E hasn't written yet. Cole: No, no, imagine if that actually existed, bro. All are impression problems would be solved. We would be masters of disguise for like 20 dollars. Jay: *chuckling* --- Kai: We are from Planet Duplor. Cole: We are here to destroy you. Jay: AAAHHH THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT! Zane: *robotic chuckling in the background* Nadakhan: Baby block aliens agree with each other, right?
I quietly left, searching high and low for a good place to scan the city. To get a good view, I climbed to the top of Borg Tower. Glancing down at the giant metropolis, I started scanning. With Hanna in my mind, I scanned for androids in the area, and to my luck, a female one was on the ground below, glancing around and running as a group of something chased her. Using Airjitzu to land safely, I went down to find her.
Though I was expecting Hanna, the droid woman had silvery hair tied back in a messy ponytail, the brightest green eyes, and white skin decorated with cybernetic patterns.
"PIXAL?" I asked softly, and she gasped, before turning around to face me.
"Zane?" She looked exactly as I remembered her, her pale face painted with shock. "I've no time to explain. Just run! Go back to the Bounty! I'll catch up with you!"
I was confused, but I obeyed, occasionally looking back to try and see what had chased her. They looked to be made of snow and wind. I kept running, and I heard her footsteps behind me. Once in safety, I activated my communicator.
"Hey Zane!" Jay was the first one to respond. "Found anything yet?"
"Yes, in fact," I replied. "PIXAL seems to have rebuilt herself, and I have found strange creatures terrorizing the city. They seem to be born of snow and wind."
"Hanna?" Nya replied. "We were actually just talking about how shady she'd been acting during her time there, so she could have..."
"What? But she is my sister! I would never know a creation of Dr. Julien to do such a thing!" I replied in disbelief.
"We're thinking she could have summoned Nadakhan as well!" Jay added, his voice lined with concern.
"Princess Harumi just contacted me," Lloyd chimed in. "She says she'll try and help us as best she can."
"Great," I replied. "Cole? Kai? Any findings?"
"Yeah, we were just at Laughy's," Cole replied. "Or at least, in that area. Seeing a lot of gang activity from beings that seem...inhuman. Also, I think I lost Kai. Not in...that way, just...can't find him in the crowds."
"My disguise is genius," Kai whispered over the communicator. "No one will know it's me by even a hair on my head."
"May I correct that statement?" I replied. "It is possible for one to take a sample of your hair and scan it for DNA, thus confirming it is you. Anyways, what sort of disguise are you wearing?"
"A handlebar moustache, biker costume, beanie and blonde wig," the Master of Fire replied. "My alias? El Fuego."
I could clearly hear Jay's sarcastic laughter over the intercom. "El Fuego? Really?"
"Well, unlike you guys, we're by a bar, so..." Kai sighed and spoke away from the communicator. "Cole, you're gonna have to be Rocky Dangerbuff again."
As we looked around, I saw someone, a shrouded figure, below us on the ground. And then they just...disappeared. As if they erased themself from time. And I felt cold and uncomfortable.
"Jay? You...you look a little green over there."
I sighed, standing and turned to face her. She gasped. "Jay! It's as if you were bitten again!"
"What?" I glanced at my hands, green-tinted and covered with smooth scales. "No, no, that..." I turned to her. "Did you sssee anything?" I winced at the slur the venom gave me.
"Not recently, did you...?"
"Yeah," I replied. "Down there." I pointed. "I think I ssssaw someone. Couldn't make 'em out."
Nya glanced down as well. "Really? I don't see anyone."
"SHE DISAPPEARED!" I replied, louder than intended. "Ssssorry."
"Disappeared...like in time?" Nya looked around, and the figure appeared again. "OH MY GOSH, I SEE HER!" She disappeared, and Nya began to glow with a dark aura, twitching and trembling.
"Uh...not good?" I began to run as Nya's skin, once a beautiful, smooth porcelain shade, slowly turned grey, as if contracting vitiligo but much faster. She blinked, and those beautiful brown eyes turned violet.
"Yeah, I'm running." I looked back several times as I ran and jumped across the buildings, my evil girlfriend chasing me the entire time. The hooded figure appeared in front of me again, before disappearing, causing me to let out a squeak of fright. I jumped down, using Airjitzu to land safely. I ran to Laughy's, really hoping Kai and Cole were still there. Seeing Cole...er, well, Rocky Dangerbuff...I immediately hid behind him, muttering, "Protect me."
"Protect you? From what?" Cole turned around. "Why the heck are your eyes yellow?"
My eyes are WHAT!? I thought before whispering, "Take thisss outssside!"
"Oh. Jay, what happened to you?"
I glared at him.
"Oh. Right." Cole grabbed my arm before I could grab his, and we went out to the alley next to the bar. "Jay, what the heck happened?"
I yanked off my hood and the neck of my turtleneck. Cole stepped back in shock. "You have to believe me! Thissss isssn't a disguisse! The hooded figure...she did this to me!"
"What hooded figure?"
They appeared again.
"Oh."
I nodded. "Cole, you have to help me! I need to get away from her!"
"Yeah, shouldn't we worry about...un-snaking you first?" Cole asked, running a hand through my hair.
I glared at him again. "No! Her! Nya! She's not herssself!"
"Can't we just fight her?" Cole looked a little uncomfortable by the proximity of a man-snake.
I put my hood and turtleneck "mask" back on. "No! You know how much I love her!"
"RrrrrRRRRrRRrrrrgh!"
"Come on, Cole." I grabbed his hand and took him away. The hooded figure disappeared again, and I felt human. Nya was still evil though. "Co...col..." Darn it, she made me lose my voice! This was total chaos!
"Jay?" Darn again! Cole was a ghost! Now I couldn't grab his hand! Who the heck was this mysterious villain? "You alright?"
"Co...e!" I sighed, then pointed to my throat, hoping he got the message.
"That darn...cloak guy...just won't quit, will they?" Cole clenched a fist.
I gave him a look that clearly said help me.
Cole sighed, grabbing me and dragging me into a trash can. I glared at him. "It's the closest hiding spot we've got, Jay. Boy am I glad you can't talk right now."
I squinted at him, clearly offended.
"I applaud your body language," Cole said as he turned invisible. "Stay here."
I reached for him, but he was already gone. I sighed, feeling lonely and helpless. Pressing the button on my intercom, I barely managed to make out the name "Ka...ai."
I saw Kai run out, throwing down his wig and moustache. "Jay? How the heck did you lose your voice again? Last time I checked, you didn't injure your throat."
I vigorously pointed to the cloaked being.
"Oh, blame him for everything?"
I groaned.
Over the intercom, I heard Zane's voice. "They are known as 'The Silent.' They can manipulate the timeline, making it so that certain things are different. Thus Jay's current mutism, Cole being undead once more, and Nya's corruption. Their gender, background and origins are currently unknown."
"Oh, great," I mouthed, only for a meaningless grunt to escape my lips. I rubbed my temples, trying to process all the new information.
She disappeared again.
