-I dunno what ever happened to this gorilla, but im guessing he stayed around here then-
-There, the white-urred gorilla grunted and heard the screaming, jumping into action, Grigori soon grabs his signature rifle and goes coming to the aid of this mysterious person in distress-
"Hold on, brother! I'll be but a moment to come to your divine aid! The plant congregation around here aren't to be trifled with!"
OOC: I'm mostly only interested in fictional politics.
(OOC: the only guy to do that shtick well was once EgorSmirnov. Man i wonder what ever happened to that dude...)
OOC: Well technically all the alliances, conspiracies, infighting, and wars in the RP are "politics", but yeah, Egorsmirnov's were definitely the most complex.
In the jungles of the Outlands, north of the recently reclaimed Crystal Crater, the scattered Icebears regroup under the command of Ike (the Icebears who'd seen Scorpix's Chi Ghost leaving Ike's body after the sabotage vouch for his innocence to the other Icebears). After the assassination of Iceslash and the disappearances of Iroquois and Inika during the massive battle, leadership of the tribe has fallen to the remaining General. However, Ike is no King, and he knows this, hoping to gain a new permanent leader for his people from either the Sabertooth or Mammoth royals.
The Icebears join with the retreating Sabertooths in the region, also left leaderless after the Leopards' air bombardment destroyed their General, and Ike takes temporary command over all these Hunters. He has them travel northwest from the jungle, over the Outland Mountains and into the Ice Mountains, before turning straight west and going down the mountains into the Arctic. The group uses the last of their chi supply to speed up their journey. Their destination: Saber Mountain, to regroup and recuperate under whoever is currently in charge there.
In Scorpix City, the Scorpions cheer as they're notified by Calloran Fen, who'd just talked to his fellow Consul over the radio, of Unichi's final victory against the Ice Hunters and the successful reclamation of Crystal Crater. They're immediately called to vote, however, regarding Craunus Maximus' sudden proposition for the "Scorpio-Rax Company" (whose final name is the Scorpiorax Corporation). Both the Scorpions in the city and the soldiers still at Crystal Crater vote.
The Starsting Reformists vote against the founding of the company, and to keep direct Unichi control over the mining operations (this comes as less of a surprise due to the party having been founded, and still being led by, the former royal family, and the party remains consistent with its "reformist" stance by pushing for all the Unichi tribes to control Crystal Crater, rather than just the Scorpions like in the pre-Arachnid Alliance days), believing that such a company would be a waste of funds and resources when any and all experienced miners from the Scorpion, Spider/Forgotten, Wolf and Gorilla tribes could simply work directly under Unichi, and that a "private company" having their strings pulled by Unichi could be a bad look to the other tribes of Chima.
The Scorpixian Republicans vote in favor of the proposition, both to honor Stannis Rax's sacrifice and to solidify Crystal Crater as a neutral mining site despite being part of the Scorpions' territory, similar to how the Iron Mountains are currently a territorial split between the Tigers, Leopards, Ravens and Sabertooths, but still accessible by companies for mining. The Scorpixians counter the Starstings' argument by stating that the Scorpio-Rax Company would be fully independent despite working in Unichi's territory (using another comparison: the Aether Foundation/Saviorites on Aether Island, which is their headquarters but still fully owned by the Gorilla Tribe), and that this would be a better look to the other tribes, since it'd be an independent company maintaining order in the area and distributing its riches to everyone, similar to how the Lions oversee the chi falls, rather than Unichi completely hogging the site and its yields to themselves like the old Arachnid Alliance had.
The latter party ends up winning the vote, likely due to many independent voters being soldiers present at Crystal Crater, and having seen firsthand the sacrifices to secure the site, such as Stannis Rax's.
Yea to founding the company: 57% Nae to founding the company: 43%
The groundwork begins to be laid for the Scorpiorax Corporation, with Craunus Maximus being agreed upon as a provisional Chairman. Calloran tells Craunus about this over the radio, before the latter Consul makes his speech at Crystal Crater.
