Skaulus: "Because I will never make peace with a faction that smashed a member of my family. Prepare to attack this Empire's HQ! We have lots of fire chi!"
OOC: Yes...forth, my unknowing minions! Destroy the Golden City while I distract King Leodus!
(OOC: Then again, egor did ignore this, so. It was possibly nulled, but hey, its more of a “Checkpoint Charlie”-esque standoff instead.)
OOC: Who's Checkpoint Charlie?
(OOC: You mean, what IS Checkpoint Charlie? Checkpoint Charlie (or "Checkpoint C") was the name given by the Western Allies to the best-known Berlin Wall crossing point between East Berlin and West Berlin during the Cold War (1947–1991). East German leader, Walter Ulbricht, agitated and maneuvered to get the Soviet Union's permission to construct the Berlin Wall in 1961 to stop Eastern Bloc emigration and defection westward through the Soviet border system, preventing escape across the city sector border from communist East Berlin into West Berlin. Checkpoint Charlie became a symbol of the Cold War, representing the separation of East and West. Soviet and American tanks briefly faced each other at the location during the Berlin Crisis of 1961. After the dissolution of the Eastern Bloc and the reunification of Germany, the building at Checkpoint Charlie became a tourist attraction. It is now located in the Allied Museum in the Dahlem neighborhood of Berlin. )

Awesome history. I thought you'd just been referencing a videogame.

Scorpio: "But why can't we constantly keep settling for Peace?!" (OOC: my answer to this question; War, War never Changes, Your answer?)
Skaulus: "Because I will never make peace with a faction that smashed a member of my family. Prepare to attack this Empire's HQ! We have lots of fire chi!"
The scorpion army begins mobilizing to attack. Fire chi auras rise up out of each marching soldier, creating huge orange waves of energy above the organized army. King Skaulus and Prince Stannis remain here with King Scorpio to oversee the preparations, while Princess Seris returns to Spider HQ to begin mobilizing the spiders' half of the Arachnid Alliance army.

-Scorpio cringes and seethes in incompetence- Scorpio: “N-no! I won’t let my people die out there for Cavora sake! I just won’t DOIT!!!! You can’t force me to say otherwise! I don’t like war, i hate it, i despise it! I remember Bliston saying something of petty incompetance the inlanders caused their own civil war!! Don’t you feel incompetence within you Skaulus?! Don’t you understand me?!?” -He’d hissed at Skal, tears running down his face, he was so emotionally distressed by all this war, he’d could not handle it!-

Skaulus whirls on Scorpio, his brown cape billowing. Skaulus: "The inlanders didn't have one of their leaders assassinated during a time of peace. The Empire of Balance must face punishment for what it's done!"

-Scorpio grasps Skaul’s shoulders fervently, such fear and trouble in his face-
Scorpio: “You can’t do that too easily! I won’t let you! I suffered enough in my young life, i won’t allow it to suffer more! I have nightmares of my father attacking me and my mother for the littlest of Annoyances!! I dunno who these people from this Empire are, but I cannot handle them dying by our hands, i have a feeling they keep Balance in Chima, a more noble and imperial version of the Forgotten. But we had just only found out about them, and why attack them if they have exsisted for so long?! I don’t want to commit a holocaust!!”
-He’d wheeze and writhed in just such emotion tearing him up internally... before getting up in his face, growling-
“Listen here you war-mongering PEST!!! If you wanna know whom assassinated my father, it’s not the Freeman’s fault at all! He was just the stepping stone messenger scapegoat, i’m only willing to tell you this, ONCE; Dr. Scordon Freeman isn’t at fault, the Lion’s assumption of me cuasing Scorm’s death, was TRUE... I ORDERED the Freeman to remove that thorn inmy side!” -He’d say semi-quietly, such, maybe having an idea that Skaul’s on child may do the same thing...-
“Isn’t it just so Dastardly to be killed by the ine you raised... the one you cared for and loved...? I feel your own son... would commit the same heinous crime as me, King Skaulus...”

-soon, a message sent from the Scorpion caverns, soon reaches the forming army, soon the message is decoded, and these scorpions are stunned as it was relayed from their comms.-
“Its amazing, people! The Platinum Queen of Scorpions, the Golden King’s mother, Scorpia Platnia Starsting, is ALIVE!!! Although the spiders will most likely despise her working with the Forgotten, leading it Scorpion Sect, it’s still amazing to notice she’s still alive and well!”
-the Transmission ended with a rather odd saying; “Guess she’ll never be forgotten!!”-
-these Scorpions are pretty concerned about this: the King’s mother is still alive and is working with the Forgotten?! Well, this would be a bit problematic trying to coerce the mother to come back...-
-Confusion, internal strife, and greif begin to form within the Scorpions-

Stannis speaks up in the back of the room: "Hang on, let me respond to that." -He gulps down the last of his wine and sets down the glass- "I would never assassinated my Lord father. If we ever were at odds, I would just overthrow and imprison him, and I'd be sure to visit him in prison every day." Stannis laughs, but Skaulus isn't amused. He releases his shoulders from the younger King's grasp, and contemplates for a second.
Skaulus: "Normally I would fault you for assasinating your father, Scorpio. However, we Spiders have had to utterly destroy previous leaders of our own in order to topple their stale regimes. I understand why you had to do it. However, you must now accept the fact that your action, intentionally or not, made you the Scorpion King. And this Empire must accept the fact that they've committed an act of war by offing my Queen. I suspect that their reason for it was actually because of the 'balance' of which you speak, and if that requires the sacrifice of my wife, I want no part in upholding that balance." Skaulus walks across the room, grabbing a goblet himself. He takes a drink of wine, and rocks the goblet around in his hand as he thinks, before turning his head sharply to Scorpio. Skaulus: "Your highness, I've been thinking about having you marry my daughter, Princess Seris. She's only one year older than you, and perhaps the marriage of the Scorpion King and Spider Princess will strengthen our tribes' alliance. I know this proposition is sudden, but please consider. The Arachnid Alliance definitely needs to be tightly united in these troubling times..."

-Scorpio would soon get a shiver up his spine, something was clearly wrong, as if, his dark past would come back full swing on him... he’d fall back into his throne and whimper in fear, something came back to life, it’ll only be a matter of time till it comes back here, but for now, the thought of marrying a Spider Princess...? Now where had he heard that before...? (He’d could be a bit more attracted to Stannis ) Well, it must’ve been reminding him of the stories Scorpia used to tell when he went to sleep, after calming down from fear of his father...-
-he’d only sulk in his seat... until an messenger from the forming military outside the castle comes running into the throneroom-

The scorpion looks at Skaulus and Stannis, hesitating. Scorpion messenger: "And... she's now a member of the Forgotten." Stannis stifles a laugh, snorting, but Skaulus scowls. Skaulus: "Well, she's made the wrong choice. Unless she was brainwashed by Screk to join! If that's the case, Scorpio, then we should find a way to extract her from the Forgotten's clutches. Since neither of our tribes currently have queens, perhaps she'd be a valuable ally."
