"Ha ha, hilarious." Ra'zac says without any hint of amusement. "You should get a new informant. One who doesn't tell lies. Or at the very least tells believable lies. Why would anyone want an alternate supply of energy when we have an unlimited source already?"
“I wasn’t talking about Chi. I was referring to something else’s you have. Electricity.”
Ra'zac looks at him quizically, but doesn't move his pistols. "Now you're just making up words. Why would you even want an alternate source of energy, this elec-city stuff, when you have all you could want pouring from that floating mountain?"

“Because I don’t like chi. Our society’s over reliance on the substance makes us week. That and some...past personal issues.”

"Fair enough." Ra'zac holsters his pistols. "Follow me." He turns and walks down the path, not bothering to see if they follow or not.

OOC: They just met, there is hardly any plot between them. What do you mean?

“I haven’t taken a dose of Chi for a looooong time, but doesn’t the world, like, need that stuff to keep from shaking apart?”
"No. I need a recharge." He turns his head to look back at Clovis. "Where did you get that word for this other energy source?"
“Oh, uhm, a Little birdy told me.” For some reason this sounds more like a question than a statement.
"Sure." Ra'zac says, rolling his good eye as he turn back around.
Soon they reach an impressive waterfall, thundering loudly as a river pours over the edge of a cliff. Next to it is a small building made from metal and stone, which looks like the builder knew what he was doing but didn't care about how nice it looked. Ra'zac walks inside, and as the other two follow him inside he gestures to a round metal drum laying on it's side with a diameter about as tall as they were. A thick shaft runs through the side of the wall nearest the waterfall and goes into the drum, which is humming loudly.
"This is what powers me. Keeps me alive. You wouldn't believe how good it felt to finally no longer have to use chi." Ra'zac says with a contented sigh.
He goes over to a rack near the generator and removes one of several black batteries, sliding open a compartment on his back and replacing the one that was there with the fresh one. His eye glows brighter and he seems more energetic than he had been.
"So," Ra'zac says, "I imagine you want in. Tell me why and what you want to do with it. And make it quick, there's someone I need to find."

Enala approaches the contraption, peering closely at it with a mixed expression of confusion and bewilderment.
”Wow... you made this? And it keeps your tech running instead of Chi? Wow... “

“You want the candy coated version or do you want the blunt version?”
"Sure." Ra'zac says, rolling his good eye as he turn back around.

Ra'zac folds his arms, simply saying. "Blunt."
“I hate Chi for very...personal reasons. I want this Chi dependent world to die and I want all those in it to see what life is like without their addiction.”
