OOC: Well, either way, you would have to post a move for the ice bear ships before they reached us, we stopped them well away of the remaining ice bear ships, and if I recall, they don't have many ships left. Would they really risk their fleet like that? And, if they did... I would see them and have time to make preparations... That would also mean that the beats would make a faster decision before the bears ablitterate their fleet to attack the ice bears. So post a move of the ice bear ships following the bat ships, then post when they are within sight, and then I can react, but you first have to deal with the bats not answering the requests. IC: Breakneck taps his fingers, waiting for a response...
OOC: The Icebear ships were already following/chasing the bats in previous posts. What I'm saying is, even if the bears see the Icebears, it doesn't make a difference. The Bears can't prevent the Icebear ships from starting to freeze their ships, and if the bears started firing at the Bat ships, they'd still all be interrupted and bashed by the Icebear ships, giving the bats time to escape. So how about the Bat ships got heavily damaged by the Bears before leaving. It's still the same outcome either way.
Well, what I'm saying is that if the bears saw the Ice Bear fleet chasing the bats, there would have been a different outcome. As soon as you would have stated an ice bear fleet approaching we would've had enough time to open fire on the bat fkwer if they tried to escape. While the ice bear ships are approaching, we could have been laying a blockade and start firing with our heavy cruisers before the ice bears could reach us with the upper hand. Then, As the Bat fleet is surrounded, the remaining navy's of both fleeys5 would perish as both are heavily damages and were in the merge of defeat at one point or another. Also, can you direct me to the post of the ice beats following the bats?

OOC: But it really would've been the same outcome either way. All of the Bears' projectiles fired at the Icebear ships would freeze and then sink on impact, not slowing down the trek of the Icebear ships. The icebears' following of the bats started here:
The icebears chase the retreating bats to Bat Island, freezing ships on the way there. The 8 remaining Bat ships retreat from Bat Island and head north as the Bat Naval Command Center is frozen, drilled into and destroyed by Icebear claw driller mechs from the ships, and Bat Island is frozen, along with a thick strip of the water's surface from north to south.
They continued following the bats past Bat Island for revenge. The Bat Fleet getting stopped by the bear fleet gave the Icebears enough time to catch up.
The icebear ships, which have been following the bat ships, suddenly charge forward in an attempt to freeze both their enemy fleets.
So how about:
IC: Bat Admiral (in response to the Bears' earlier proposal): "Hmm...alright, we've decided that we will go with you for negotiations. [the events in second quote then play out] The bat ships, heavily damaged by the bear ships during the Icebear attack, escape while the two bear fleets fight. The fire chi powered Wing Strikers then come and save the bear ships from the Icebear ships, as mentioned in the original post.

OOC: Well, how were the bats defeating them? I didn't see where they had fire chi when they were beating them. My ships also would have probably run after seeing the blasts frozen. Along with the ships charging would give time for them to make a deal with the bats for the fire chi which would in turn, give the bears more power to defeat the already almost defeated ice bear fleet. So I mean I have to be able to react. As soon as the bat fleet started to run, we would follow them. As the ships would be approaching and not be able to instantly attack out of nowhere. The bat admiral and the rest of us would be able to retreat and not put up a fight. And like how many ships and how powerful are they since the bats already whittled them down considerably?"

OOC: When the bats fought the Icebears, they used catapults mounted on their ships that launched flaming boulders, among other materials such as the army of chi ghosts (who couldn't be frozen, since they aren't physical), supplied by the pirates, and the large spiky rocks mined from Bat Island, which could pierce and sink the Icebear ships and then be detached before the Ice spread from the spikes to the Bat ships.
About the negotiations, the bats would've only agreed to give the Bears fire chi if the bears had agreed to let them leave, so either: A), the bears don't agree to let the bats go, so the bats instead agree to negotiations elsewhere; the bear ships then start to be frozen by the icebears, giving the Bat ships time to escape; some bats return and destroy the Icebear ships before any bear ships can be sunken, or B) the bears do agree to let the bats go, so the bats give them fire chi; the bears are able to fight and destroy the Icebear ships while the bats leave. So either way, the bears are saved by fire chi before their ships can sink, and it's a win-win outcome for everyone except the Icebears.

How about, when the bears see the ships, they will agree to their deal if the bat commanders give them their word of honor to come to negotiatons at the eagle territory. Would the bats agree to that?

Well the duty of these particular bats is to set up the first colony on New Bat Island, but they can agree by sending a message to the bats on the mainland telling them to come to the negotiations.

OOC: So did they make the deal? They could also just send their commander.

IC: The bears then, with the bat commander on board, use the fire chi to arm their canons as the rest of the Bat fleet solely disappears into the mists beyond. The bears begin firing on the Ice bear fleet with the newly equipped fire chi canons.

The Icebears roar in surprise and anger as their ships blow up and sink. Two Bats fly north to tell Bliston and/or ambassadors to come to the negotiation.

Scorpions from the Republic of the Claw stalk through the abandoned town, the ice on the street melting as the fire chi-bearing warriors walk through the town. Scorpion: "Looks like we're already too late. We have to warn the Eagles at the Spire of what happened here."
