After the fire catapults and spiky rocks are mounted on the ships, the Bat Fleet heads up to the northwest ice caps, realm of the icebears.
The Icebears fall victim to a ravaging attack by the Bats. Admittedly, Balthazar's strategy here is less complex than his previous one, but it doesn't need to be, now that the bats have the fire catapults. With a fire catapult attached to every bat vehicle, the Icebear shipyards are completely destroyed, preventing the Icebears from building any more ships. Wing Strikers bomb from above as Bat ships and subs launch flaming boulders and skewer the Icebear ships with their bow spikes. Right as the bats finish destroying the Icebear shipyards, the icebears call in reinforcements; 10 Vulture Sky Scavengers arrive and successfully quickly freeze 12 Wing Strikers before Balthazar calls all Bat forces back. Bat: "Grand Admiral, we're not going to keep fighting?" Balthazar: "We have already won this battle. It would be foolish to continue fighting and risk losing more vehicles after completing our objective." The Bat Fleet returns to Bat Island, leaving what remains of the Icebear Fleet reeling from 2 defeats in a row. The bats cheer at the victories thus far from Grand Admiral Balthazar. When the Pirate "allies" arrive with the Chi ghost concoction, the Bat Fleet will attack the remaining Icebear ships, finishing this trilogy of battles in the Balthazar Campaign, and bringing complete destruction to the Icebear fleet.
The Pirates' ship, the Sea Slicer, arrives with the chi ghost concoction, and a spiky black rock is mounted on its bow. The Bat Fleet charges north, first sending out waves of chi ghosts, all controlled by Gibbs. The ghost aren't physical and cannot be frozen, but they do significant damage to what remains of the Icebear fleet, simply through close combat with the ships and crews. The Bat ships arrive, with the Sea Slicer by their side and their spike rocks ramming through the Icebear ships. Fiery boulders are launched from the Bat ships, but all of these resources are put to complex use in Balthazar's strategy. Grand Admiral Balthazar brings the Icebear fleet to near destruction. The mere seven remaining Icebear ships retreat between the ice caps and the ruins of their shipyards to either give up or plan a next move. The bats and pirates cheer aboard their ships. Gibbs: "Heh, now for the double crossing." Pirate: "I thought we were only gonna do that if Balthazar failed?" Gibbs: "No, quite the opposite. I needed the Grand Admiral's brilliant military mind to help us rid the West Sea of the Icebear scourge. Now that I've used Balthazar, I can overpower the bat fleet with the chi ghost army, and we pirates will become the dominant force on the West Sea once again! All hail Gibbs, lord of the West Sea!" Pirate: "Wait, where'se the chi ghost concoction...?" Gibbs: "What?! I kept it on board! How—oh, no..."
On board the Ascendancy... Bat: "Grand Admiral, the Sea Slicer and the chi ghosts are turning in our direction!" Balthazar: "Yes, they are planning to betray us." Bat: "You knew??" Balthazar: "Of course. Do you really believe I'd ally with Pirates and not suspect a betrayal after we'd achieved our common goal? Now that I've used Gibbs, I no longer need the ghosts. That is why I sent the special forces bats to liberate the chi ghost concoctions during the battle." Right as the chi ghosts fly to attack the Bat ships, Balthazar smashes and destroys the three veils in his hands. The chi ghosts wail as they teleport back to the void. Balthazar lays back in his throne-like Command chair. Balthazar: "Destroy the Sea Slicer. Wipe these treacherous Pirates from the face of the realm."
As every ship in the Bat Fleet turns towards the Sea Slicer, the pirate ship is bombarded by hundreds of chi lasers, cannonballs, and rockets all at once. A small, stolen lion speedboat approaches the Sea Slicer as it goes up in flames. Lyrix grabs the anchor and climbs up onto his former ship, pushing and kicking pirates out of his way as they futilely scramble to escape the doomed vessel. Lyrix attacks Gibbs as the traitor tries to escape. The two duel aboard the flaming deck as the ship crumbles. Gibbs: "Lyrix, you're alive?!" Lyrix: "Yes, my old enemy. I should've never made you my first mate! But as the saying goes, the captain goes down with the ship, and seeing as you're the captain now, I couldn't allow you to leave this ship!" Lyrix blasts Gibbs' legs with a chi pistol, immobilizing Gibbs. "Goodbye, Gibbs!" Lyrix says with a sneer, jumping into the water and leaving the old Gorilla laying on board. "LYRIIIIII.....!!!" Gibbs roars as the wood breaks beneath him and he falls into the cluster of fiery explosions beneath.

Balthazar succeeded in defeating and nearly destroying the Icebear fleet with his brilliant strategies, but there was one variable he didn't account for... one outcome that would've been almost impossible to predict: that his fox bodyguard, Klark, was once close friends with many of the foxes on board the now destroyed Sea Slicer. And at Balthazar's side on the bridge of the Ascendancy, Klark watches the destruction of his old friends at Balthazar's hand. As the Bats claim victory against the Pirates and the Sea Slicer explodes, Balthazar is suddenly stabbed from behind, through his throne-like command chair. (with no bodily fluids or graphic imagery of any kind present) Klark's spear protrudes through Balthazar's chest as the crewmen gasp at the unexpected assassination. Balthazar: "The...Bat Tribe...will live on...past my time...this...isn't the end for my people.." Balthazar falls from his chair as Klark retracts the blade. Klark: "I am the savior of the foxes, of the MCSTs of old! We were betrayed...we are avenged." As Klark tries to escape the bridge, he is shot in the head by a crew bat, and slams to the floor. The Icebears look through telescopes and see that the Grand Admiral the bats depended on has been assassinated. The 7 remaining Icebear ships press their advantage, reemerging from the ice caps and charging ahead. Without Balthazar's strategies, the Bat Fleet falls apart, getting blasted, frozen, and rammed by the Icebear ships. The icebears chase the retreating bats to Bat Island, freezing ships on the way there. The 8 remaining Bat ships retreat from Bat Island and head north as the Bat Naval Command Center is frozen, drilled into and destroyed by Icebear claw driller mechs from the ships, and Bat Island is frozen, along with a thick strip of the water's surface from north to south. The Icebears eagerly search for their shipbuilding device, only to find its broken pieces beneath the waves, and realize that the only Icebear capable of repairing it is long gone... the anguished roars of the remaining Naval icebears can be heard across the sea.
Badrar stands on the deck of his ship, watching the Icebear Fleet crumble. Bat: "The Grand Admiral has truly outdone himself this time. The Icebears, the Pirates...he's defeated them all!" Badrar: "Indeed he has, officer. Our leader is truly excellent." It is at this moment that the Icebears attack, tearing the Bat Fleet apart. Badrar: "Evasive maneuvres! Get us out of range before we're turned into an iceberg!" Badrar's ship, pulls back with the rest as ice spreads across its hull. However, the ship on the left is almost completely enveloped in ice. As it threatens to capsize, it rams against them. Badrar: "HARD O'STARBOARD! HARD O'STARBOARD!" The ship escapes complete destruction, and gets further away than most, but has a deep slash in its side and is sinking lower far faster than it is moving forward. Bat: "We're doomed!" Badrar: "No. Abandon ship, immediately!" The crew scramble to evacuate as the decks are flooded. Badrar personally searches the entirety of the upper decks and a large section of the lower ones, and is the last to emerge atop the ship. By this point, only a few metres remain above the waves. Badrar walks calmly along this stretch, flying upwards and joining his crew on one of the eight remaining vessels.

The icebears remain on the frozen island to use it as a base against the Fire tribes.

OOC: Do the ice bears leave after they find it is broken?
The icebears remain on the frozen island to use it as a base against the Fire tribes.
OOC: Did the ship sink that Grand Admiral Balthazar is on? If not where is it located now?
OOC: Balthazar will be taken and buried on New Bat Island. Klark is a different case, since he ended up being an enemy of the bats, but he'll be returned to his species.
IC: Kark floats toward the Minor Tribes base, laying on a rowboat with all his weapons except the spear he used to smash Balthazar (like Borimir from LOTR).
