A scorpion in a tank drives out of the walls and up to the arrival. "Who are you?"
The mecha stops, and on its back a hatch opens up. A young, lanky wolf walks out, carrying a pilot’s helmet. He comes to a stop atop his mecha, leaning on its fin. “Who am I you ask? Why I’m the famed Rariku, pilot of the invincible Konuba. I’ve decided to visit your outpost because I’m in need of some chi. Once I buy some I’ll quickly leave on another adventure, and I’ll likely never bother you or visit here again. So come on, let’s open the gates.” He answers in a straightforward manner, telling the Scorpion to turn and yell for the gates to open with a command. He waits impatiently.
OOC: Your empire, is kinda... divided... Not really all that secure.

The streets are eventually all paved, covering up the sand in all the cities. The remaining sand is quickly sweeped out, due to its course, rough, and irritating nature.
Fancy gold detailing is added to the bridge's nooks and crannies, and it is appropriately named, "Outland Gate Bridge", since it is a ways in front of the Outland Mountains to the east.
High in the clouds above, a helicopter hovers out of sight. Gorvan leans out of the doorway, watching the Crawlers with a telescope.

All of the walls are made thicker and taller, with layers upon layers of metals mined from the Outland Mountains added. The walls now measure a whopping 20 feet high.
The walls are constantly upgraded. They now measure a strong 10 feet thick and a towering 30 feet high. The Crawler cities are invisible to the inland tribes outside due to being completely covered by the huge walls. 200 laser and rocket turrets are attached to each wall. Going across the top rim of each wall is an electric fence to prevent any inlanders from climbing over the walls. Hundreds of anti-aircraft turrets are installed inside and around the heavily fortified cities. At the same time, hundreds of mines are buried in the sand all around the walls.
Not really all that secure.
