Anti-aircraft turrets begin to be installed on and around the walls in addition to the ground turrets. A new batch of 20 Super-Tanks arrives, and they patrol the territory around the villages. Building materials are brought in from the Outland Mountains, and the previously small villages are soon expanded and upgraded into large cities. Many factories are built in the walled cities, producing even more Bat and Scorpion vehicles and weapons in addition to the vehicles already being built in the Outland factories.
Finally, a metal bridge begins to be built across the Gorge of Eternal Depth, connecting the northern and southern Crawler cities.
Streets begin to be built in the gaps between the buildings in the cities, and the sand the cities were built atop begins to become a memory.
Meanwhile, the bridge is completed. It has the same shape as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, but it is chrome in color rather than red. The bridge already begins to be busy, with Bat Super-Tanks, Scorpion Stinger Tanks, and Crawler cargo trucks driving back and forth across the Gorge to and from the northern and southern cities.
The streets are eventually all paved, covering up the sand in all the cities. The remaining sand is quickly sweeped out, due to its course, rough, and irritating nature.
Fancy gold detailing is added to the bridge's nooks and crannies, and it is appropriately named, "Outland Gate Bridge", since it is a ways in front of the Outland Mountains to the east.
(OOC: Can someone clue me in on WHY walls are being built all over the great desert? )
OOC: Because of the events at the former bear forest and the Gorilla HQ, the Crawlers have realized they can't trust the inland tribes, so they've been building large walls around all their settlements.

Kobuna stops on top of a dune in clear sight of the bridge and city. Why are they mobilizing all these weapons?...

High in the clouds above, a helicopter hovers out of sight. Gorvan leans out of the doorway, watching the Crawlers with a telescope.
-in the dunes of the deserts, i wander seemingly aimlessly, but for a purpose, as to take note of these newly building walls by two tribes...-
-I shake my head and head into a sandstorm, disappearing without a trace, heading back to the lions to check on Bachell and Oatley...-
OOC: Who are Bachell and Oatley?
