OOC: Probably. They were just temporary tunnels anyway, while the scorpions were checking to make sure the lions' underground sections weren't beneath the Crawlers' territory.

OOC: A tunnel extending over a presumably large distance, high enough for a humanoid to walk or crawl through is too big to be held up by wet sand.

Two mechanised infantry companies, one armoured company, and two squadrons of interceptors are deployed along the Lion-Crawler border.
Some bats and scorpions look through binoculars from the tops of the watchtowers, observing the lions. A team of scorpion miners digs under the sand to make sure the underground airbase isn't beneath Crawler territory.
