I watched that episode again, and it was stolen before Zane realized PIXAL was gone, but not necessarily before she was actually out of his head.

Well I'm talking about the episode where the vermillion first attacked the X Cave. After Nya saw that her suit was gone, she takes Zane into the Ultra Stealth Raider. Then we see through Zane's POV for a second, and PIXAL was still there in his head, in her digital form. It might've been an animation error.....

Hmmm... well, I expect the most probable possibility is PIXAL... of course, it's certain, but it does seem the most likely.
However, I do find it kind of interesting that Nya's first major guess was Skylor... in fact, that whole episode dropped several suspicious little hints regarding Skylor herself. I mean, they made it painfully obvious that she wanted to come with them, but they cut her off... still, though, it happened, and in good writing, things don't happen without reason. They seem to be telling us SOMETHING, but what?
That led me to my second (albeit a little more far-fetched-- but certainly not out of the realm of possibility) guess-- Samurai X is Skylor... from the future. I mean, it's not impossible. Time Travel is a WIDE open door now, and anything could happen. Also, Nya very blatantly commented on that possibility in front of Skylor, which, even if she wasn't Samurai X at the time, could have planted a seed of thought... Idk. Like I said, it's much more far-fetched. I suppose we won't know for sure until canon reveals it, but I'm very, very curious now, heh...
