This topic is here to stand in for any locations that you might want to visit once or twice, but that doesn't really deserve its own topic. For instance, let's say you want to go to the beach and catch some rays. Or maybe train your student to walk on water by putting them in a pool of electric eels. Or perhaps you even want to have a space battle that's waaaay out in... space. Away from any of the current planet topics. These locations don't really need their own topic, so you'll post here.

Coruscant Courtroom
*The trial had been going on for some time now, and Extor hoped that it would soon be over. Juren Cerud, or his clone, or... it didn't really matter... had framed both Extor and Helios for crimes which they had not committed. But why? What was the point? Maybe it didn't really matter why. It was almost over now. The scales had tipped back in Extor's favor, and the trial would likely end soon. Helios was almost here. Ah, there he was. He had just walked in.*
"Until a crucial witness can arrive, your Honour, namely, myself, a crucial witness whose crucial witnessing of a crucial event can crucially prove to you that this entire case is built on hearsay, perjury, and pure and utter ridiculousness. The baseless and quite frankly false allegations laid against the good Master Tol do nothing to discredit his own reputation but serve only to further muddy the legacy of a man I had a healthy respect for some short months ago. With that in mind, your Honour, I would ask that the court could give me an update on the most important and contentious points of this case so that I can shed some light on this debacle."
*It should have made Extor happy. He should have had a sense of relief to see that Master Mygora had arrived and was ready to put an end to this attack... but he did not. Instead, as Master Mygora talked, a creeping feeling came upon Extor. A sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, as if the last piece of a puzzle had fallen into place, and the picture it made was not a pretty one. Something was not right. But how could they be wrong? This was it, right? There was no way Juren could win the trial. He wasn't even in the room. He had been escorted... out...*
"Yes.... well, I don't personally see any evidence against the defendant," said the judge. "I believe Mr. NoMoreBlame has just finished pinning the blame on SeenRudeGuy. Mr. NamelessLawyer, would you care to lay out any further evidence? I am prepared to end proceedings, seeing as how all of your witnesses have been successfully cross-examined, while the defendant is filling up valuable court space with more witnesses to testify against your case."
*The prosecuting lawyer held up a finger as he listened for input from his client. He looked confused, but finally he looked up and said what he had been instructed to say.*
"Checkmate."
*With that, the entire court room exploded, the explosion erupting from the center of the floor.*
*Extor heard a voice.* "Don't let him get this far." *And then he blacked out.*
*And he woke up. In a cell. He was suspended in an energy field. A door opened, and two clone troopers walked in, both armed, followed by a pair of Jedi Sentinels. They deactivated the field and cuffed Extor.*
"It is time for your trial, Mr. Tol."

*Extor goes with the guards to the courtroom.*
Later, in the courtroom...
The judge opens the court case. "Court is now in session for the trial of Mr... Mr. Tall Exit. No, that's not right... Ex... Extra Tall? Extension 01? Expo... Extor... T- Tol. Extor Tol. Right then, court is now in session for the trial of Mr. Extor Tol. Prosecution, you may begin with your opening statement."

*Juren Cerud stood up to give the opening statement himself.*
"This past year has been a mess of confusion. There has been a lot of change, and more importantly, a lot of unexplained events. Mysterious events. The problem with today's society is that we are all in such a hurry to move on with our lives, such a big hurry that we are willing to leave behind important questions. Everything seemed clear and simple... The grand master passed away due to a ship malfunction and was replaced. However, it only seemed simple because that is what we want to believe. We're all busy people, right? We want to accept the easiest truth that is fed to us so that we can forget about the questions.
The next thing everyone knows, the grand master has been alive the whole time, working undercover for the Republic, but his ship exploded again and this time he's really smashed. Okay, got it. Forget it and move on. But we can't keep doing that. By simply accepting the answers we are given without questioning the unexplained and the illogical, we give corrupt leaders the freedom to have their way, while everyone else follows blindly. Today I am going to prove to you that Extor Tol was part of a conspiracy, involving multiple attempted smashings, coverups, and a plot to take over the Jedi Order, and then perhaps even more. I have been hiding for long enough, and it is time we put master Tol and his fellow conspirators behind bars, righting the wrongs that have been ignored, and exposing the truth that none of us wanted to see."
*He sat down, content with his opening statement.*

*He sat down, content with his opening statement.*
As he speaks, three hooded figures silently walk into the room and sit down. They do not speak, and you cannot see their faces beneath their cloaks.
*Astro, from his position near the front of the courtroom, is recording everything said (hopefully that's legal ), hoping for anything that might be able to save Extor from Juren's relentless attack. Or perhaps, something that might save Juren, as well. There are problems on both sides... of course, he can't just point them out, nor can he do much to directly help, but maybe, just maybe, Juren or the defense will give him something to work with. It would seem, in any case, that this is his last chance.*
*Extor sits, one arm under the table in front of him, his other supporting his chin. He watches Juren intently and focuses in on every word, hoping for a clue, though he is not sure quite what sort of clue to look for, not sure where it might possibly lead him, not even sure whether he wants to find it.* Juren has really turned around. Has he really been planning this all along? Maybe he's been hiding his true nature from me all this time... just to slam me into the ground. *As Extor thinks, he remembers Juren calling out to him for help. Then he remembers the dream and the explosion.* Help... ...wait... could it possibly be... that somehow Juren is backed into a corner and this is his only option? How could it be... unless I was right, and Juren has been hiding this whole time? Is there something else I'm missing? Please, Juren... give me something to go on here. I have no idea how to help you.
*The judge speaks*
"Thank you, Mr. Ja-- Juren... Cr-- Ce-- See-rude... Cerud. Yes. Cerud. Thank you, Mr. Cerud. Now, Mr... Mr. Tall Exit, you wish to-- oh, no, wait... Ex... Extra Tall? T-- Tol...? Right then, Mr. Tol, you wish to be represented by a lawyer? And that would be... this strange-looking fellow with his tie sideways? Mr-- erm...Beeahoo...? Bl-- Blamehtamin? Blam... Blame the man? Ah, yes, like blaming Mr. See-rude for the crime, I see. So defense runs in your family, eh? Ha, ha... yes, well, Mr. Blamerman, if you would."
"Uh, that's Beau Blametheman... your honor. And this tie is sideways because it's a Beau tie. Ha! Get it? Because it's like bowtie, but it's... oh, yes, defense. My apologies, your honor, some of my cousin's craziness must have gotten to me."
*Blametheman fixes his tie and prepares to continue.*
"Members of the jury, I am here today to prove to you that Extor Tol is innocent of the charges laid forth by the prosecution. There is no evidence whatsoever that any sort of conspiracy went on among the Jedi other than the one which has been uncovered between the current and previous Grand Masters. These are, of course, the defendant and the prosecutor. Any witnesses brought forth by the prosecution shall be cross-examined and proven to be false witnesses, as a real witness to such a conspiracy as the prosecution suggests cannot exist. Indeed, the conspiracy itself does not exist, so there can be no witness!"
*Beau Blametheman sits.*
"Well, Mr. Pintheblame, you make a good argument there, doesn't he Junebu... erm... See-rude? I think this is a fairly open-and-closed case, so unless there are any further objections... oh, wait... I shall continue on with this trial because I am being told I cannot pronounce a verdict until after the trial. Which means we shall now hear from the prosecution again. Mr. See-rude, 1 strike, top of the second inning, let's get moving."

IC: *A man stood up to present the main case, and when he turned around Extor recognized him. But from where? He had never seen this man before. Except... in that dream. A holoprojector was set up.*
"Before the alleged accident on Illum a couple of months ago, if asked about the death of Grand Master Juren Cerud, anyone following the news would say that his ship malfunctioned and exploded above Corusant. Numerous eyewitnesses saw the explosion. What has been kept hidden, however, is what happened just before that explosion."
*A witness, some random stranger from Coruscant, was called to the stand. The conversation proceeded exactly as Extor had seen that night.*
"Mrs. Balkins, would you please tell the court what you saw on the day of that explosion?"
"Well, I was out on my balcony watching the sunset, when I heard a loud sound coming from the Jedi Temple. I looked and saw a man falling from a window! A ship came below the window and caught him, and then it flew away. I was inside turning on the news feed when I heard the explosion less than a minute later."
*Two more witnesses confirmed her testimony with similar stories.*
"What you are about to see are holographs captured of the inside of the Grand Master's office. The first one is from about the time Master Cerud fell out the window, and the other is shortly after the explosion."
*A still holograph was shown, showing the office in shambles, exactly as Extor had seen it when Juren pulled him out of the detention cell. The room was a mess, things had blaster bolts through them, the window was broken. Helios was in the room, standing near the doorway, with his hand outstretched toward the window. The next still showed Helios sitting in Juren's desk chair, talking to someone in a robe.*
"As you can see, there is clearly more to this story than we have been told. The camera in the room stopped functioning about two minutes before the security system picked up the shattering of the window. It was found to have been shot with a blaster. The scene was cleaned up quickly, and everything but the explosion was kept quiet. Obviously the attempted assassination failed."
*Juren was called to the stand.*
"Mr. Cerud, please tell the court what happened to you in that room."
"It all happened pretty quickly. I was in my office when Master Mygora entered the room, blasted the camera first, and then attacked me. I have no idea what his motive may have been other than to take my position. The fight went on for a couple of minutes before he Force-pushed me out the window. Fortunately my ship is automated and I was able to activate its track-and-meet feature. I wanted to get away until I could figure out why I had been attacked, but while I was exiting the atmosphere I discovered a bomb on-board. I exited the ship and went into a freefall just before it exploded. I think I just blended in with the falling debris, which allowed me to lay low. I eventually came back under cover as a bounty hunter in order to find out what had happened."
*The lawyer picked up from there.*
"The next thing that happened from there is not hard to find, being that it was in the news."
*The lawyer played news footage.*
"When everyone thought he had been smashed... it was faked. Master Cerud was not smashed in that "accident," and it was no accident. It was a plan that he himself devised to remove himself from the position of authority he did not feel worthy of... and to hide from his former self and attempt to start over somewhat. Many of you in fact have seen him since then under the alibi of bounty hunter Sashai Anorus. However, after the disturbance in the force we all felt... Master Cerud crashed his fighter into Ilum."
*The lawyer stopped the recording, and started to speak but Juren jumped up unexpectedly*
"And hooow believable is that?"
*The lawyer sat down, confused.*
"I faked my death to hide? From what? And then I come back as a bounty hunter, and then I crash my fighter again? So I can come back again? Bravo, Master Tol, I think that's the most believable explanation anyone could come up with. If it weren't for this. Play the next piece of evidence, please."
*The lawyer pressed a button, and the court was presented with a new holovid. It showed a computer control room in the Jedi Temple. The date and time showedthat it was just before the crash. Extor walked in, and typed at the computer. The OASIS logo was briefly recognizable on the screen, followed by live flight cam footage from Juren's ship, as Extor placed his hands on a remote steering column and forced the wheel forward, making the ship crash.*
*Juren paused for effect, letting everyone gasp dramatically.*
"I believe that covers our main case."
*He then gave a quick bow and returned to his seat.*
Known everywhere else as Topplenaut. You can call me Top for short.
*Astro presses a few buttons on his wristcomputer.* *At the conclusion of the prosecution's main argument, Beau Blametheman stands up for the cross-examination.*
"Well, I don't believe a cross-examination is really necessary. I think the prosecution has quite clearly established, through repeated evidence, that the defendant is clearly guilty. I mean he stole the controls from Mr. See-rude's ship! How underhanded can you get?! So now I shall hand down my-- oh, wait... you mean just hearing the argument isn't enough? I... have to hear from both sides...? Um... right, of course, then... Mr. IBlameYourClientWhoObviouslyDidIt, go ahead, bore us all with your 'Cross-Examination' ... "
"The defense would first like to cross-examine Mr. Cerud, and the recording he presented of the defendant. Mr. Cerud, if you would, please play that recording again." *He starts the recording.* "Stop it right there, please. If I may draw your Honor's attention right here." *Blametheman zooms the picture in to see the screen.* "Here, you can see the camera inside the ship of Mr. Cerud. Only there's a problem with this, isn't there? No one is in the pilot's seat. Now obviously Mr. Cerud was in the ship. There's no doubt about that. So where is Mr. Cerud? Looking at all available footage, there is no question that the ship Mr. Cerud was in was already losing control before the defendant even arrived on the scene! The only reason the defendant was there in the first place is because he received a notification that the ship carrying Bounty Hunter Sashai Anorus was giving off major technical problem readouts.
Of course, that still leaves one major question: why did the defendant so clearly push the controls of Mr. Cerud's ship to the ground? To answer that, we must consider something else: why was Mr. Cerud not by the controls in the first place? Mr. Cerud, perhaps you'd like to answer that question for us?" *He slams his fists on his table, then points at Juren.* "Why would you, an experienced pilot, not be controlling your out-of-control ship during takeoff??"
