*Juren leaned back comfortably in the chair in the stand.*
"As has already been established, the first ship that exploded was equipped with advanced auto-pilot programming. This ship also had that functionality. I went down to my living quarters before there was a problem. I have no explanation for why the ship began to shake. It really appeared to be only minor turbulence... until my ship was forced in to a nose-dive."
*He looked at Extor as he said this last sentence, and then looked back at Mr. Blametheman, folding his hands and leaning forward to rest them on the desk surface in front of him.*

"You know, Mr. Blameyourface, I was going to give that presentation a 10/10. But the prosecution's response has made me rethink that decision. That was very anti-climactic, and I don't care to give that a good rating! Expect 2 stars from me."
"Just you wait, your honor. I'm sorry, Mr. Cerud, but that explanation is not going to work here. I've done my homework quite thoroughly. According to records from the Clone HQ, the Jedi HQ, and records that were taken from your very own personal computer system, OASIS, during this event, all of the following things happened BEFORE the defendant arrived on the scene. Computer consoles in the Jedi HQ became uncontrollable. These same computer systems began opening and closing programs entirely randomly, with no explanation as to why. Lights flickered. Every Jedi we talked to agreed that a dark feeling was in the air. And there's more. Let's go further through this video, to the very end of the event, when the defendant releases the controls. According to the defendant, this dark feeling in the air took him over and he was unable to move the controls. He could not let go, nor pull back. The force kept pushing him forward. Despite readouts from the HQ thermostats all agreeing that the HQ was 22 standard degrees, the defendant released the controls frostbitten. A zoom-in right here will show that his fingers do, in fact, appear frostbitten." *He returns the recording to the previous picture, of the empty control station.* The OASIS data we have confirms that, even you, Mr. Cerud, felt this strange force. Even you were unable to control yourself. You were in a cold sweat, the datachip in your brain receiving mixed signals. The reason you are not in this picture is because you had dropped down on the floor in a panic brought about by the very force you Jedi try to control! Of course, you wouldn't know that, would you? You have no idea what you felt during that time. What you said about thinking it was turbulence was entirely made up. The memories from this crash never made it to the clone body you now inhabit!"
*He slams his fists down again.* "Your honor!" *He points again to Juren* "This witness has just committed perjury! I demand that this man's testimony not be tolerated any further!"
"Ah... yes, of course... why, the defendant is obviously innocent! How could you be so rude? What do you have to say for yourselves, prosecution?"

"Mr. Blametheman, I think you had best get a pinch hitter before you strike out. What you have just described are the effects of the defendant's attempts to take control of my ship via the HQ's computer system. This attempt was eventually successful. The frostbite may have been a result of his grasping for more and more energy from the environment around him, accidentally draining the heat from his own fingers. Of course there was a dark feeling in the air."
*Juren turned his head to look Extor deeply in the eye from across the room.* "Imagine... all of that darkness bottled up inside. It's been there all this time... you can't help but let it out."
(Assuming nothing happens, even though Extor is "easily psychologically bullied"...)
*He turned back to Blametheman.* "Mr. Blametheman, if you will take a close look at the footage of me on that cockpit cam, you will see that I am wearing a pair of bracelets." *He pointed at a box on the prosecution table, and his lawyer pulled out a pair of bracelets.* "These bracelets are made of taozin nodules, which make my Force-sensitivity undetectable by other Force-users, a vital part of my disguise. Unfortunately these nodules also prevent me from using the Force myself. I could not feel the "dark feeling in the air," nor could I tell what was happening to my ship or my nerves. If you'd like to take a look at the blueprints to that ship, you'll find that the direction from which I was crawling is the direction of the ladder that leads... that is, led, down to the previously mentioned living quarters.
Now, I find it interesting that you call me a clone. For one, because it's true. I have recreated my mind identically in a brand new body. A testament to my own personal brilliance. For another, you have just upped your charges to smashing as opposed to attempted smashing. And you have to explain to the court how you could possibly know I am a clone."

*When Juren directly addresses Extor, he begins to panic, knowing that he is nearing a very dangerous ending to a trial. He is shaking now in his chair, his right hand covering his face, and the other still under the table.*
"There's only one thing I need to explain to you: that your personal attacks are not necessary! Your Honor, Mr. Cerud has just given evidence to confirm our claim that he has committed perjury. The rest of this discussion is just a distraction from that fact. The prosecution gave no reasons that Mr. Cerud should not be removed from this courtroom. I ask that you have Mr. Cerud removed from the courtroom and his testimony removed from the court record at once!"
*Extor looks up, his trance slightly broken, and locks eyes with Juren. He tries his best to send a mental message to Juren.* I'm sorry...
"Hm... Mr. See-rude, I now see that you are rude. Bailiff! Escort this man out of the courthouse immediately!"
*Juren stands and walks toward the exit.*

"...wait..." said a voice at the defense bench.
The room, already silent with tension, seemed to stir with an even greater tension and confusion. Had the defendant just asked... for the man who was trying to prosecute him... to return? No, perhaps they had only imagined it through all the confusion. After all, the man was still walking toward the exit. Just a few more steps and he would be unable to return.
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!!" Mr. Blametheman yelled, not quite knowing why. "We're... not finished-- no, um... the defense... no..."
"All will come to light in a moment. Commander Astro, I may need your help." Extor said before turning and pointing at the clone, already standing right behind him.
"H-how did you know I was--"
"The same way I know that this is all a setup... and part of the plan involves HIM getting out!" *Upon saying "him", Extor turned and pointed at Juren.* "Astro, have you contacted Helios yet?"
"What the-- how did you-- I haven't even-- yes, I have, but..."
"Then we MUST keep Juren in this room. Your honor! Surely you noticed it... that floor panel has been tampered with. Remove it immediately!"

OOC: CWRP has now gone graphic novel. :P
IC: *As Extor calls him out and orders that the floorboard be removed, Juren's face goes from a sly smile to a confused scowl as his mind races, retracing his every move, trying to figure out how Extor knew about the trap... and scrambling for a plan B. He could not likely escape the building. There was far too much security, and he had no weapons and was force-cuffed.*
*Two security officers from the sides of the room stepped to the center, scanned the floorboard briefly and then removed it, revealing a remote bomb concealed underneath. There was no timer, but instead a microchip connected to a wire tied into the room's holocam setup.*
*Juren went with the best plan B he could come up with.*
"Aha, so the prosecutors will stop at nothing! If only they had let their overly observant client in on their plan."

OOC: So, is Cerud a rogue Jedi and Extor a framed Jedi, or am I totally off?

"Evacuate this room at once!" Astro yelled to the crowd. "That includes us. Guards, stay by these Jedi. Don't let either one away." *They move to another courtroom while a crew removes the bomb* "I find it pertinent that we complete this trial now. After all, only a guilty man would worry about pinning the blame for a bomb before evacuating... and that man is right there!" Astro said, pointing at Juren. "And if only you could wiggle your way out that easily," said Mr. Blametheman, now much less confused "Unfortunately for you... well, first, you're the prosecution. I think, in your rush to think up an escape, you forgot that minor detail. Second, we can figure out just exactly who put that there."
"In fact, I just did. Juren Cerud, last night, you entered this room unsupervised and spent a strange amount of time bent over that very spot in the floor. The cameras don't lie... unlike you. As the commanding officer of the clone army of the Republic, guards, I command you to arrest this man at once! He is charged with attempted mass smashing, attempting to usurp the court, and two counts of perjury."
*Extor turns his head to the side, grabs his right arm with his left hand, and looks down, apparently hurt by what's happening.* "I hope this is what you wanted." he says roughly.
"Your Honor?" Mr. Blametheman says, hoping the judge understands.
"Oh, oh, yes! Of course! Since Mr. See-rude was seen to be so rude and such a big fat liar, while the extra tall guy saved everyone, and we don't have solid evidence against him, Mr. Extra Tall is free of all charges! You may go now."
*The guards release Extor, who takes one last look at Juren before beginning to leave the room. He checks himself at the door, turns back to Astro and Blametheman, and speaks once more.* "Thank you... both. I believe I'll see you both later." *He leaves.*
OOC: I know this is a lot at once, but I'm just trying to finish up to the point where I assume you may need to make another move. If something here is not right, please correct it or ask me to slow down or something

{JAMMERS! On whoever cares ONLY!} Darth Dylo saw the trial on television, or though a spy cam or whatever. He believes one of the Jedi is a traitor, so his plan is to help him escape, take him to the Sith's moon, and turn him over to the Dark Side, thus creating a new ally. MWA-HA-HAA!

It's a cool idea, and normally I welcome people to join in on the story, but this is a very important point in the story that must go as scripted. Sorry!

*Juren was clearly deep in thought as he was taken away. They transported him to the most secure prison on Coruscant and locked him in a cell with one of those blue glowy floaty things. The entire time he did not utter a word. About an hour after his cell was locked down, his health monitor indicated that he had sunk into a coma.*
