Well how many people do you have on your FAC, how active are they, are they up for 15+ designs to flood them. Can I go ahead and post some of the shops so we have them and then people can slowly take over them? This way it’ll be easier to down now then later since you guys are mid reboot.

That’s going to take even long to vote members in lol. I would like to spearhead the FAC in this endeavor however and thus I would like to start appointing member to be on said FAC. We used to have it like the FCC, 1 main dude and 4 smaller dudes to vote. This way it would allow some users to take vacations and still have the FAC available to vote. So it’d be a 5 person committee. I’d like to ask if I’d be able to take the head Administrator FAC position and start appointing other people as we need to get the ball rolling.
Is this going to be run like the old RP or are we going to change the rules? Because I think we should keep it as an army building roleplay but it should be more simple than the original.
so are we going to be doing things the same old way or are we doing things how the other RPs used to do things (attack HQs instead of attack planets/topics)
I don't know. I'm waiting for opinions from the others. I'd prefer taking planets, imo.
So it has come to my attention that there are several topics that are missing from this RP as well as some factions that have been swept away. However hopefully we can change that. The first topic on my list (and ill make a list of other ones) is Damorian Manufacturing Corporation (D.M.C.) Now you might be asking what did they make, the asnwer is Carrack Light Cruisers and Tartan patrol Cruisers, they mainly serviced the Empire. Now why would we add a small shop that only has 2 ships, well the reason i used to run that shop was i turned it into a very large shop rivaling KDY, Sienar Fleet Systems, or Rothana Heavy Factory Works. However most of the ships were Fanon that were produced, HOWEVER me being me i still have all of the schematics that existed for those ships to be produced.
Here's my question that I propose to you all, if the ships that were already passed in the old MBs were allowed can i just restart DMC and skip the red tape and have those ships just already exist? there are at least 15 designs and I know that there are more. it would probably help regulate the fleets that are available seeing as there are not a lot of shipyards up yet, (Fondor, SFS, Rothana, Black Market, Blastek, Czerka...) just a question. thanks
There's something i've just been thinking about. Should we allow Legends tech in this roleplay? I think it would be much more accessible if we don't and nobody gets the advantage of knowing more about Star Wars(or at least, the advantage is much slimmer) and the battles are based more of tactical acumen. It's possible we could set up a FAC for Legends tech anyway.
Perhaps we could count Legends as fanon and send it all to the FAC?

Wait you guys don’t use legends tech at all? If that’s the case you guys really should as it adds a LOT of source materiel to work with and it helps balance out some of the ships we can use (IE not just all Star Destroyers Vs rebel fleet) I vote then we do include Legends if we don’t already do so without any restrictions what so ever, considering that there is just SO MUCH LEGENDS its probably going to take some time to get through, however we usually just made it so that any tech AFTER Endor would not be used, all tech before hand could be used, and any tech that you find that’s not listed like where to buy from would be bought on the Black Market, and the Black Market was selfie service and no one owned it
The reason I was suggesting against it was because there's so much Legends tech. It will just lock out anyone who wants to join to RP and not because they are a huge Star Wars geek and give people who know more about Star Wars an unfair advantage against people who are just as good at roleplaying.
(Also, if you don't want to do Star Destroyers Vs Rebel Fleet, just use Seperatist tech. )
You may be correct on that, however for the time period that we use right now the most advanced ships that people can find are far and few in between and if the Role Players are new and good then they’ll learn next time to be prepared for the unexpected, (IE have CGTS or have Anti Missile Defense Systems, or more anti Fighter weapons) its not hard to counter the new tech you just gotta think more creatively and honestly isn’t that what this RP is about, thinking outside the box to approach different and new poroblems with different and new ideas.
(separatist tech is so very outdated, seriously compare a Munificent to a Victory and the victory comes out on top every time, or an ISD to a providence to and the ISD wins in 95% of scenerios.)

The head administrator would just appoint people that’s it and he’d be voted in by the other FAC reps at the time, (with the exception of the first one)
