I'm ten days late, but to answer your question it really didn't.
I would be eager to help in this endeavour, however I think that finding enough people would be somewhat difficult.
I was being sarcastic.
That is very true.
And thou art wrong.
*Picks up pages of rules and technicalities, placing it back on the table*
Official Factions: (From Star Wars Legends) Ailon Nova Guard "The Ailon Nova Guard, also simply the Nova Guard, was the military force of Ailon, renowned for a martial prowess on par with the Imperial Royal Guard and the Mandalorians." ~Wookiepedia
The Trianii Rangers "The Trianii Rangers were the elite space force of Trian's law enforcement legion, responsible for the protection of Trianii colonies during their early establishment. They were presumably adept combatants in space, with training also in practical warfare."~Wookiepedia
Fan Factions: The Gungan Nomads (Basically The Redwall Abbey but Gungans...) The Gungan Nomads are a peaceful sect of Gungans exploring the galaxy in search of work. They carry with them knowledge of herbal medicine and animal care, offering it freely to those who need it unless proven to be hostile where they have been known to play merciless tricks upon their adversaries.
History
The Gungan Nomads are made up of poorer Gungans who wanted to remove themselves from the rule of the High Council and extend the influence of the peaceful side of Gungan culture. At first, The Gungan High Council threatened action and denounced the group, eventually punishing each member with exile. When a Gungan High Council member fell ill during a diplomatic mission, a Gungan Nomad was reluctantly summoned. Exhibiting his skill, The Nomad was successful and won the High Council's recognition.
Way of Life
Each adult Gungan Nomad has equal say in matters and votes by a show of hands for any actions that effect the Nomads overall. Dissenting views are allowed to carry out their vision apart from the majority unless it breaks the central codes of the Nomads.
All Nomads are required to learn the skills necessary to be self-sustaining, but if a Nomad wants to further their knowledge in a particular subject they may become a student of the Elder who experts in that field. The student may eventually surpass the Elder and become their successor if chosen or accepted through a vote as their replacement upon their death or retirement.
The Gungan Nomads allow other species into their ranks, but remain stern in ensuring members keep to their code of peace.

The Krayt Originating on the planet Champala, The Krayt is an organization of tradesmen headed by Chagri Philanthropist Velthume Hiri.
History
Rumors speak of Velthume's influential hand began with the destruction of his rivals through technology beyond that of science, hinting at the possibility of a Force User. However, Velthume despises the conflict between the Jedi and Sith, seeing it as beneath him and his corporation. He and his organization earned the name of the Krayt for his brutality behind the scenes in the way of psychological torture.
Hiri Manufacturing
Velthume's company, Hiri Manufacturing, seeks the creation of technology that will change the Galaxy. A taste of his pursuits, he will often travel or have his tradesmen explore other Galaxies to study certain planets and species to tailor a market, opening doors for the introduction of certain technology to produce a monopoly on that world. This often results in him having a hand in entire planetary governments.
His achievements include improving Droid and Hyperspace Technology, and his company is currently tinkering with a new Hyperspace Generator Model.
Notes: This is a bit of a skeleton premise, but I'm sure it will evolve overtime. It's pretty munch an in-universe excuse to introduce new droid models...

Clan A'den History Naming themselves after the Mando'a word for rage, Clan A'den care nothing for the conflicts of the Galaxy, viewing them as mere stepping stones for their Galactic conquest. Those who have already succumb to the fierce hand of Clan A'den are forced into their ranks as slaves, but those eager amongst them may become A'den Ade, or Children of Wrath-a warped sect of Mandalorians dedicated to war by any means as a test of cunning and strength, their policies akin to the dreaded Death Watch. A'den Ade must wear a suit of Mandalorian Armor displaying the colors and symbol of the Clan, though may add decorations and additional colors befitting to their personality. These are often trophies of the conquered such as horns of defeated species. Clan Colors are Orange and Gold. The Clan Symbol is a stylized silhouette of a Binexan Shark.
The Head of Clan A'den bears no family name, instead adopting the title of Kal Be Akaan or Blade of War. His helmet is adorned with horns made of Beskar and his helmet is painted to appear like an open mouth full of fangs. His cape is made out of a Boma Beast hide, and the creature's horns were fashioned into twin daggers, the favored weapon of Kal Be Akaan.
Notes: And that should cover the warlord, business, and nomad factions for the RP. Now I shall go forth and hope for fellow minifigures to become interested in this abandoned place...
