Yesterday Barcalona made the greatest comeback in sporting history. In the first leg we lost 4-0. We needed 4 goals without the opposition scoring. If they scored, we would need 3 more goals. Guess what?
We were winning 3-0 and they scored. 3-1. We had 7 minutes to score 3 times. As Neynar said, : 'If there is a 1% chance we'll go there with 99% faith' We did it. Neymar scored twice in 2 minutes, and with 5 seconds left, he sets up Sergi Roberto, who scores!!!

I'm pretty sure no one here cares though.
The greatest comeback in sporting history is the Red Sox comeback against the Yankees. We were down 3-0 in a series, and no team in the 100 years of the MLB had EVER came back from that series deficit. Not to mention the Yankees were favored and the Red Sox were cursed. Even so, we won 4 insanely thrilling games in a row and eventually won the World Series:O! I doubt you care about this though, but I guarantee if you look up "greatest comebacks in sports history" it will be on the list.

Okay, I'll be asking for your suggestions right now within 9 hours. xD Should I go see that R-rated Hugh Jackman film or Kong: Skull Island tomorrow? xD
Woah, that's a ton of info. I'm going to research this stuff you mentioned in a bit more depth... Definitely need to expand my technical knowledge.
IT IS LOL, it's just such a deep topic. I recommend reading "Cinematography: Theory and Practice: Image Making for Cinematographers and Directors" by Blain Brown if you want to really learn as much as you can about cinematography on both a technical and artistic level. Excellent book that's used by the top film schools!
Cool beans! I'll try to find a cheap copy somewhere.
Oh yeah, I just watched IM for the first time recently, and it definitely is basic, but is also awesome... The reason it's so basic is because every MCU one since has essentially been a deviating version of it. It set the standard for the MCU.
I found it! I'm going to try and start it over this weekend. I can definitely see the visual influence on 11, at the very least... Bow tie!
I've heard about that one, and tried to find it awhile back. No luck in that case. :/
True! Especially the Iron Man sequels LOL
Awesome!! His personality shines through, too -- and you might even catch notes of 12 in there at times!
Aww that's too bad. It's not fantastic but I really enjoyed it hahaha
This are actually the only MCU films I've not seen. XD
Cool. I love 12... BTW, is 7 any good? I've heard he was pretty goofy early on, but was really cool in his later episodes. Super manipulative and stuff.
What other episodes would you classify as being actually 'fantastic'?
Photoshop's a good idea... The one thing I tend to worry about with Photoshopping your characters to give you motivation before the script is written is that you might fall into the pitfall you mentioned previously: basing the character off of another one the actor played if you design the protagonist with a certain actor in mind. Still, probably better than nothing. XD
Neat. It looks like it'll be cool as both.
Yeah, I know that they are, but only if they come from someone with authority, experience, or knowledge more than yourself. Doesn't make much sense, for example, if I give you advice on writing screenplays, because I still haven't done one and you've done a ton. I obviously know less than you on the subject.
Gaffer would be awsome. I'd definitely be willing to do the research and/or training neccesary... But I'd literally do anything you needed. Doesn't have to be something uber cool, if you want more knowledgable folks for that... I'd be willing to lug stuff from place to place, go on coffee runs, literally whatever. XD Or perhaps just whatever job you want a guy to do, but don't have the budget to get someone for. You'd be doing me an honor and a favor just by letting me hang around and watch what happens, one I'd be willing to pay back with whatever you need. XD Essentially, if you happen to have an opening and a person doesn't need a ton of experience for it, then I'd love to do it, no pay necessary.
TRUE LOL -- you could always combine concept art pieces though, or just make the faces blank with the paint tool! Just some ideas XD Even basic thumbnail sketches can help a ton.
It will be!!
TRUUUUE but if you ever think of a technique or idea that I might not know about, please do let me know XD
Great!! In the short film I mentioned, there are lots of lighting effects and cool stuff like that, so it'd be a fun project to be a gaffer on. But I'll admit that making coffee runs is equally important. XD
Assistant director is also a really good position, but it requires more knowledge going in. But if you learn all about a position you think you'd want then you can have it!!
That's clever!
I will, but I doubt it'll happen. XD
That sounds like it'd be a blast. I wonder if they have YouTube lighting tutorials? XD Nah, that'd be like the worst training ever. I'd try and find a place that actually teaches you about that sort of stuff IRL sooner or later. At least I already know how to do coffee runs if gaffer falls through!
No, no, I definitely would not want to have a position I would not be qualified for, and while I'm not really even qualified for gaffer yet, I COULD be by that time, if I do the neccesary reading and probably/hopefully at least some hands on experience if I can find it. Not so for asst. director.

I feel like the recent Super Bowl should also be on there.
