I'm thinking probably creating a character named Blucher von Zweihand. He would be a Sylvanian who wants to unite the Humans in Sylvania, Auraboria and Harmonia under his banner. He would be inspired by Prussian Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard von Blucher
I like it, but why is he in the South where all the HQs are? It's usually pretty separated from the politics of the North, though in the aftermath of Stennev'avfjellan's Civil War I can see that starting to change.

Is the north not a part of the RP?
The North is background. Everything takes place in the South, where the HQs are.
Humans: You already know this one. They live mainly in the south, though there are many in Sylvania and Oruthal.
Elves: Shorter and slimmer than humans, they have pointed ears and angular, often delicate, features. Elves are known for their agility and surprising strength, and their wisdom. They live in the west, as well as Sylvania, and Oruthal.
Dwarves: Much shorter and stouter than humans, they have large features and almost all have beards. Dwarves are known for their strength and determination, and for their excellent craftsmanship. They live in the north and near-southeast, as well as Sylvania and Oruthal.
Orcs: Somewhat larger than humans, they have small tusks and green or tan skin. Orcs are considered less intelligent than humans (though this isn’t true) and are known for their strength and short tempers. They live the east and in Oruthal, and sometimes the southern forest.
Goblins: Slightly shorter and much slimmer than dwarves, they have large pointed ears and green or tan skin. Goblins are considered untrustworthy (again, untrue) and are known for their cunning and craftiness. They live in the east and near-south, as well as Oruthal.
Trolls: Twice as tall as humans and three times as wide, they have large tusks and green or tan skin. Trolls are considered unintelligent (over exaggerated) and warlike (untrue) and are known for their strength and tough skin. They live in the east and the southern forest, as well as Oruthal.
RuleJJ: I have a couple questions about orcs (Because that as an EventMaster I'm planning on having Darthraxx fade into the background, and have a new Orcish Character.) First off, Are Orcs simply more muscled, or are they stronger even if an Orc and a Human had the same mass? Second off, what is Orc forging like? is it equal to Humans? Better than humans but worse than Dwarves? Thirdly, are Orcs roamers or do they have designated villages they create?
If you don't have these answers already, I can answer them myself, but if you have an idea I'd like to know.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

They are slightly stronger than humans. It is generally of inferior quality to humans, mostly because they lack many established settlements and much written history. Most or nomadic or live in small villages. However, after the next Event, an orc kingdom will be established near the Goblin Nation and Sylvania will absorb part of the Wilderlands, potentially making it easier for orcs to settle.
Little is known about the days before the Graylings came, other than that humans, elves, and dwarves all first arrived on the continent during this time, but many hold them up as a time of prosperity. Humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, trolls, hill giants, frost giants, minotaurs, and dragons all inhabited the continent, and it is believed that all races had their own land. It is unknown how long this era lasted, but eventually the Graylings sailed from Oruthal and everything changed. Their numbers weren’t great, but every one was a fierce warrior as strong as a troll and as nimble as an elf. It wasn’t long before they had conquered most of the continent. The only parts that remained were the far north, held by the frost giants, and the southwest, held by the dragons. Though they fought for decades, the Graylings were never able to break either of these two groups and they came to be bitter enemies. In the rest of the continent, the Graylings were harsh but fair rulers, but they were still conquerors and the people longed to be free. Whether decades or centuries later, their chance finally came. What happened to weaken the Grayling empire is still debated today, but the most likely explanation seems to be a great sickness that only affected them, smashing many and weakening many more. In any case, with the empire weakened, the other races were able to rise up and eventually drive them back to Oruthal entirely. Unfortunately, it was not the happy ending for all that it might seem at first. For once the Graylings were gone and the dragons and frost giants retreated to far corners of the continent, the humans, elves, and dwarves turned on their allies- orcs, goblins, trolls, and hill giants- and subjugated them, turning them into second-class citizens and largely ignoring them. From there they divided the spoils of the conquest- to the dwarves went the north, called Kalsteroskirasval; to the humans the south, called Regna Disud; and to the elves what was in between, called Lucidaboria. The plains and desert in the southwest remained in the hands of the dragons and the minotaurs, for none dared to face them and the land served no particular use, and the frost giants controlled the far north for the same reason.

Will the future parts of the history include important events in the PC's backstories?

I'm going all the way to the forming of Harmonia, a couple hundred years ago. That is the last major event before the events of the RP. The focus of the history is on how the continent came to look like it does now.
If a golden age of peace had ever existed, the Graylings had irreparably broken it. Humans, elves, and dwarves were no longer content to simply be humans, elves, and dwarves. They formed multiple societies, multiple cultures, multiple identities, within each of the three kingdoms, and not all of those cultures were content to coexist. Thus, war was inevitable. Indeed, some say it is surprising that the three kingdoms lasted as long as they did. In any case, the kingdoms did eventually begin to splinter. The first to break was Regna Disud, the largest and most divided kingdom. As the divides became more evident, one territory stood out. It was known as Nacinazélo, and it consisted of areas of land south of the northern mountain range but north of the southern mountain range, including a substantial section of the great southern forest. With the aid of the hill giants, to whom freedom was promised, the people of Nacinazélo rose up against the rest of Regna Disud and won their freedom in a war. They established a new kingdom, but in doing so turned their backs on the hill giants. As soon as a proper government was established, they drove the hill giants over the mountains and into Lucidaboria, a decision which would eventually come to haunt them. Seeing Nacinazélo’s success, other groups in Regna Disud attempted to dislodge themselves. The southern portion of what is now the Dragon Kingdom tried and failed to break away, as did several other territories. Of all of them, only one succeeded. The seat of power in Regna Disud was far to the south, and though its ruins have largely crumbled away, small sections of its walls can still be found around the place where the three kingdoms of Lion, Dragon, and Shadow meet. Because the capital was so far south, areas farther north often felt neglected, and this was what prompted the great forest to rebel. They used a similar tactic to the people of Nacinazélo, enlisting the forgotten races of the forest to help them, though they were somewhat more faithful to their promises. The result was a long and costly war that left both sides weakened for many decades, but in the end, with the help of their allies and the use of the forest environment to their advantage in battle, the great forest broke away from Regna Disud and became Granforê. Not long after Nacinazélo won its freedom, Lucidaboria began experiencing troubles of its own. The elves were less warlike than the humans, and most were willing to compromise peacefully, but a group known as Fractaboria sought to sow strife and the seeds of war. They began by whispering false rumors in the ears of the leaders of various groups, causing them to become mistrustful of one another and suspect one another of vying for power. Then, in one fell swoop, they smashed most of the leaders working on peace agreements. Lucidaboria was hurled into war almost overnight. Everyone believed everyone else responsible for the smashing and a short but terrible war ensued. When it ended, the country was split in twain- into Auraboria to the west and Arginaboria to the east. Fractaboria was eventually discovered and destroyed, but they damage they had done never fully healed. Unlike the humans and the elves, the dwarves never did collapse into civil war in those days. Their numbers were simply too small and their home too harsh for division to be viable. Had they succumbed to the ever-increasing pressures, few would have survived. Still, it is a testament to dwarven willpower that they managed to stick together.

History Part Three
In the days after Lucidaboria broke apart and the two nations were still weak, Nacinazélo decided to expand its territory. Instead of marching on Arginaboria, however, as would have been the obvious choice, they went around the mountains and into Auraboria. And there, to the surprise of most other kingdoms on the continent, they won a decisive victory and claimed a large swath of land as their own. Unfortunately for them, that land was the very same land that had banished their one-time allies the Hill Giants to not so long ago. They would have faced a second war, one they likely would have lost, had their king not passed. His son, a man much more inclined to diplomacy than to war, and very good at it too, took the throne. He was able to negotiate a treaty with the Hill Giants that left both parties more than satisfied. From then until its demise, the Hill Giants were fast friends with the people of that kingdom, and even the elves of Auraboria soon came to call them allies.
After that war, the continent settled into a time of relative peace. Regna Disud made an short-lived attempt to invade the Plains. There were several minor skirmishes that soon evaporated. A series of rebellions by orcs, goblins, trolls, and other oppressed peoples took place, but all were put down quickly. This time is also known as the Age of Heroes because it is widely believed that many of our legends transpired in this time. Indeed, if such people as the Princess Anexa and Baj the Little Giant ever existed, this is likely when they did. It has been speculated that the legendary hero Egol also lived during this time, as tales of him began to spring up near its end. Moreover, many legendary figures that have a definite basis in reality were known to live during this time. Cinead the Immortal, for example, first rose to power shortly after the war between Nacinazélo and Auraboria, and disappeared not long before the end of this period. The travels of Jhaanus Farstrider are also known to have happened in this timespan.
Sadly, this peaceful age eventually came to an end. It began with the war between Granforê and Regna Disud. The former had, after long years of observation, come to the conclusion that it would be relatively easy to crush and absorb the latter. They would have been right had the unthinkable not happened- Regna Disud united. For centuries, Regna Disud had been a fractious kingdom, made up of various Houses all vying for power. The last time they had all cooperated in any sense of the word was the failed invasion of the Plains. And yet, they managed to unite once again to combat Granforê. Nevertheless, the war was long and costly, especially for the aggressor. Even when it became clear they could not win the war, they continued to fight until all of their resources were totally drained. This war was only the beginning, however. Next came the Long Winter. The so-called Long Winter was actually the result of a climatic shift that lasted for centuries, setting the stage for what was to come. The Dwarves in the far north were the first to feel the effects. Realizing their home was quickly becoming inhospitable, they fled south, eventually settling in the then-unclaimed mountain range that today forms the backbone of Stennev’avfjellan. Many, however, feared that the cold would continue to spread and so they broke from the rest of the group, moving farther south. This brought them into the land of Arginaboria. Because the dwarves came in such large numbers and were armed against any dangers they might find, the elves saw them as a threat to the peace of their nation and so they attacked with a contingent of armed troops. Outraged at such a display of force at an essentially peaceful group that was merely searching for safety, the dwarves went into hiding for several years. During that time, they whispered dissent into the ears of the oppressed peoples living in Arginaboria, as well as groups of sentient animals living in the forests. When all was ready, the newly united coalition of dwarves, orcs, goblins, trolls, giants, and creatures of the forest attacked Arginaboria. Their tactics were brutal but highly effective, and they eventually succeeded in utterly destroying the kingdom. That task completed, they set to dividing up the territory they had won. At first, the groups tried to divide it evenly, but soon the orcs, goblins, trolls, and giants turned on the dwarves and forest creatures, forcing them to give up sections of the territory they had claimed. The area that the former group controlled became known as the Wilderlands, while the forest creatures called their land Sylvania and the dwarves dubbed theirs Aardhemir. The fighting was not over, however. Though the dwarves and forest creatures were greedy for more land they were far too afraid of their onetime allies to attack the Wilderlands, and so they turned to the other side of the mountains- to the second elven kingdom- Auraboria. After another long and awful war, the dwarves and forest creatures were victorious and the two of them took large areas of land west of the mountain range that once divided the two elven kingdoms. Thus, in the series of conflicts known as the Last Elven War, the splendor of the elven kingdoms of old was lost and its like has not been seen since.
Farther in the south, the human kingdoms were having their own troubles. They, like the dwarves in the north, experienced trouble due to the change in the climate. More so than the other two kingdoms, this affected Granforê, Great Forest- the middle kingdom. Having just come off of the war with Regna Disud, it was in bad shape to begin with. The change in climate caused considerable economic difficulty for Granforê and this was compounded by the recent defeats of both Arginaboria and Auraboria, which were Granforê’s most important trading partners. As it collapsed into economic decline and political instability, Granforê’s leaders made one last attempt to unite the country by attacking Nacinazélo. Due to the fact that Nacinazélo was much more stable, both politically and economically, than Granforê, the latter was defeated quickly and thoroughly. Soon afterwards, the kingdom collapsed into utter ruin, unable to hold itself together any longer. Most of its citizens migrated to Regna Disud or Nacinazélo, leaving the bulk of the Great Forest uninhabited and open for an influx of trolls, marsh giants, and orcs. Regna Disud also faced many problems after the war with Granforê and the climatic shift. The divisions between the Houses became stronger than ever, and so it was no great surprise when Regna Disud finally split apart. What was more surprising was the manner in which it split. Rather than simply being divided amongst the many houses, with each one claiming an appropriate amount of territory, the four largest houses- known as the House of Lions, the House of Dragons, the House of Shadows, and the House of Stags- split the kingdom among themselves, each one incorporating several smaller houses into its new kingdom. For a while, there was relative peace, until the Kingdoms of Lions, Dragons, and Shadows began to worry about the Kingdom of Stags. The latter kingdom had claimed the territory along the onetime border with Granforê, and this led to the concern of the other kingdoms. They feared that the Kingdom of Stags intended to claim what had once been Granforê, thereby vastly increasing its power, and there was indeed a logical basis for this fear. The Kingdom of Stags had received many of the refugees that fled upon the collapse of Granforê and those refugees provided both the means and the reasoning for the Kingdom of Stags to re-form Granforê- after all, with as many people as they now had, it would be possible, and who would dare question a group of people trying to bring back what they had lost? In order to prevent the Kingdom of Stags from taking the Great Forest for itself, the other three kingdoms formed a temporary coalition to march to war against it. In the end they were successful, and the Kingdom of Stags was lost, destroyed utterly. The three remaining kingdoms signed a treaty that prevented any of them from claiming land in the Great Forest, a treaty that still holds to this day, and peace reigned in the south for the next few decades. Of all the nations that existed in the time before the climatic shift, Nacinazélo was the only one that remained essentially the same afterwards, though this was not long to change.
I won't post the next part of the History today, since there are a couple changes I need to make, but hopefully the last two parts will be up this weekend.

History Part Six
A discussion of the chaotic time following the Age of Heroes is not complete without mention of Oruthal, for it was during this time that that nation came into existence, brought on by the many terrible wars that had been fought and left scars on the face of the earth. It was a diverse group that sailed away from the mainland in a mighty fleet to settle the islands once home to the Graylings, who had by that time largely passed out of memory. It was a group that wanted a fresh start, complete with a new home and new lives for all. The leader of the group was known as Artir Alaquil, which means Artir Eaglewing in the tongue of the elves. Under Alaquil’s banner the ships sailed forth from an abandoned dock that had once belonged to Arginaboria and landed on various islands in what is today Oruthal. One ship, however, kept sailing past the islands- the ship of Artir Alaquil himself. To this day no man knows what became of him- if he found new lands at the edge of the sea or if he was lost to the waves. Only one thing is certain- his ship never returned to Oruthal or any other nation of the continent.
Unfortunately, the world was not quite yet at peace. A few generations after Artir Alaquil and his fleet left the mainland, Nacinazélo became embroiled in a civil war. The conflict initially arose after the capital was moved into the hills on the opposite side of the mountains, into the territory that had been won from Auraboria. Many of the citizens on the other side of the mountains were outraged. The most outspoken and persuasive critic was a minor nobleman named Valsarius Cincordelra (Without rope/mountains). He rallied an army and declared himself the new king of Nacinazélo. Naturally, the king of Nacinazélo was furious, and he declared war on Valsarius. Though the king’s army was better equipped, Valsarius had managed to gather the support of almost everyone east of the mountains, and his “people’s army” was able to hold its own. While the king’s army laid siege to Valsarius’s fortress, many of his followers attacked them from the surrounding fortress. The king was forced to split his forces- half continued to lay siege and the others fought a brutal guerrilla war not far away. The fighting lasted for multiple years before both parties had had enough. The king met with Valsarius and the two of them formed a treaty that forever divided Nacinazélo in half. Everything west of the mountains, and sliver of land on the eastern side, remained under the control of the king, and the rest went to Valsarius. Furthermore, neither nation could retain the name Nacinazélo, so the king’s lands became Morñornia and Valsarius’s Valsaria, later Vasίlio.
