So, every good story deserves some special features right? On this topic I shall feature cast interviews, bloopers, possibly commentaries, and who knows what else all relating to the hit "The Runner" currently being posted on the MB Stories Sub-Forum near you.
Director: WelCON to the studio! Here we shall present the first cast interview from the group that put together the amazing story of “The Runner!” Today we have with us two of the biggest actors CONtained within our very talented cast. One of them is the academy acclaimed actor in star pictures such as “+Lost in a Jurassic Dream+,” “The MBer,” “Awk Ward Silence,” and many, many more! The other is more known for his crazy days at the head of his leprechaun army, and more recently for his promotion to being a mod! WelCON in…CON AND SHAMROCK!!!
*hired people clap*
*Con and Shamrock sit down in the impossibly comfortable couches*
Director: Either of you have anything you want to step in and say now?
Con: *raises hand*
Director: That’s not really necessary, Con…
Con: Well, I just wanted to say how happy I was to be recasted to play the role of TheGreatCon! It was an amazing experience, representing him in “The MBer,” and I feel he has an even better role in this story!
Director: Rest assured, Con, we never would’ve dream of grabbing somebody else. Unless of course, Benboy applied.
Con: *blink*
Director: Shamrock…any opening remarks?
Shamrock: *glancing at watch* Nah…I gotta leave in fifteen minutes for my shift, so let’s keep this short.
Director: We shall do our best to accommodate your needs.
Shamrock: You better, or you’ll get banned. *taps hammer meaningfully*
Director: *gulps* Okay, well, first off, what was your first thoughts when you got the call that we wanted you guys back on the set for a sequel?
Con: *raises hand*
Director: Go ahead Con. *sighs*
Con: Well, I was ecstatic! Though the role is a bit darker than I’m used to assuming, it was still a great experience, and I felt I grew the most as an actor in “The MBer,” so I was raring and ready to reprise my role!
Shamrock: Well, at first I was pretty meh, until you guys handed me the script. I was like…”guys, you gave me the wrong one.” And then I got told my character was totally changed. I’m still not sure which version of Shamrock7203 I preferred…
Director: What would you two say was the hardest part about your jobs so far?
Con: Running from that mechanical beast thing. It wasn’t fake. Those things exist. And man, are they creepy. *shudders*
Shamrock: Well, for me, it was learning the slang. You don’t realize how hard it is to make everyone of your “you”s into “ya”s. I really wanna talk to the script guy about all this sometime…all the pain he’s put me through. *growls and feels banhammer*
Director: *gulps* Well, heh heh, maybe you’ll get that opportunity someday!
Con: *thoughtful* Wait, didn’t you write the script?
Director: *hurriedly* Shamrock! What do you like the best about your character?
Shamrock: His attitude. It definitely improved, even if his grammar didn’t.
Director: Con? *meaningful glance to shut up about the script*
Con: I just love my guy’s down-to-earthness. He reacts exactly like I would to every situation, we really blend together in that role. *beams*
Shamrock: Well, I gotta go, guys. Thanks for having me.
Con: Been a pleasure, Shamrock. See you back on the set!
*they fist-bump*
Director: Well, that’s it for our first episode!
…
Director: *glances meaningfully at the hired clappers*
Director: And we’re back in the studios with two more of our actors! The first of these is relatively unknown, but totally devoted to this film! Her enthusiasm was really an inspiration for the scriptwriters! The other is a very random friend of our star, Con, who has to play a very controversial role! WelCON to the stage Cosmic and Boomer!
*hired people boo*
Director: *shoots them a dirty glare*
*Cosmic and Boomer sit down on stage, after shaking hands with the director*
Director: How are you two doing today?
Cosmic: Wonderful!
Boomer: Pretty good. My banana is feeling well too.
Director: Uh…good. Okay, so, Cosmic, you were a late addition to the crew of the MBer. How did it feel to get called in on an already almost-done story?
Cosmic: Any other role and I probably would’ve refused, but it was worth it trying to mold in for this production! I feel like we had some issues on the previous one, but we’re getting it better this time!
Director: Boomer, you were a villain in the MBer. You had a dramatic change-of-heart at the end. And now you appear to be back to your villain role. How does it feel to have transgressed back into your starting position, some 34000 screen minutes later?
Boomer: Yeah, it was disappointing. All that hard work trying to turn good, leading up to my final coming around, and then….BAM. I’m a villain again. I really would like to talk to the script guy about this…
Director: Heh heh...uh…well…
Boomer: Did you know the fifth wall is the floor?
Director: Did not. Cosmic, there’s rumors there was a fight on the set between you and a random bystander over who was the biggest fan of Con. What was that about?
Cosmic: Oh, nothing. We got it cleared up.
Director: I’m glad. So, what’s it like working with one of your role models on this film?
Cosmic: Inspiring. Con is truly inspiring.
Boomer: *coughs violently*
Cosmic: *hands him a tissue*
Boomer: *uses it to wipe away mirthful tears*
Director: Well, I think that CONcludes our interviews! Tune in again sometime and we might have more CONtent here!
