A Lion "patrol" headed by Sir Leon stops in a clearing. Their real purpose is to meet with the Government Restoration Party of the Wolf Tribe, and Unichi. The GRP wolves soon arrive, led by their cloaked former President.
Leon: "When will Unichi arrive?"
Wol'jin: "They'll be here, I'm sure of it."
Soon enough, Scorpion Consul Craunus Maximus and Gorilla Vice President Ghana land their helicopters here.

OOC: Actually, Ghana has probably been elected President by now. Shamrock do you want to resume roleplaying as Gorvan? He'd be back at Gorilla HQ.
IC: Wol'Jin: "It's good to see you again after so long, my friends."
Craunus: "Indeed. I was hoping you would contact us to strike back against your usurper. When the Wolves left Unichi for Primordium, I knew immediately that it wasn't your doing. What's the battle plan?"
Ghana: "Let's not rule out the possibility of negotiation."
Wol'Jin: "Unfortunately, President Ghana, we already must rule that out. The kinds of wolves who dismantled my government live by... archaic rules. They speak the language of brute force, not diplomacy."
Craunus: "Well, we can speak that language too. Time to fight fire with fire."
Leon: "If I may interject, a full frontal assault would be unwise from a PR standpoint. Most of the Wolves align with Lobo and Primordium now, and they would see you as the villain if you tried to take over by force. My son's goal is to reinstate Woljin as the Wolves' leader and have the general Wolf populace agree henceforth to leave Primordium and the war."
Wol'jin: "I agree. This will be a tricky operation to get right. The Wolf populace needs to see the GRP as the undeniably correct faction for this to work. Say, will the Forgotten show up to this meeting?"

OOC: I'm not fussed; if you feel you've got too many tribes to keep track of and want to redistribute some of them, I'm happy to take back Gorvan. Equally, though, if you enjoy leading the Gorillas, you're welcome to keep doing so.

IC: *Traxx walks into the Great Forest.* "Faderedd!" *He walks farther in.* "Faderedd!" *A ninja fox stands up and jumps over.* "Shush! Fade is not in this area, Sir. You're giving away yourself and any ninja that are hiding. Can I help you or do you need Fade, Sir?" "Do you know where chi ghost summoning things went or are at at this moment? Or do you know who smashed Tredd?" "Yes, actually, Sir. I don't know where the chi ghost artifact is, but I saw who smashed Tredd. It was the weirdest thing, he did not look like a sabretooth.. he actually looked like one of us. He was wearing a torn ninja outfit, and the head covering looked like one of ours. Why do you ask, Sir? Sir Traxx?" *The ninja looks around and Traxx is gone with a set of footprints leading away.* "What?..."
OOC: The J This ninja fox could be caught off guard by the events of Last Retribution if the participants heard Traxx yelling. If you want to do that, you can. =P

While Wol'jin, Craunus, and Ghana are talking and wondering if the Forgotten will join this operation, Leon walks up to them.
Leon: "I've just received a transmission from the Lions in the Croc Swamp. They were ordered to stay behind but remain hidden, and so they went into some sort of tunnels they found there. The tunnels seem to go under Wolf territory as well."
Craunus: "Ah, our old tunnel network from when the Republic of the Claw was allied with the Eagles and Crocodiles."
Wol'jin: "That's it! Maximus, do you remember the layout of the tunnel network?"
Craunus: "Like the back of my claw. I oversaw its creation, after all."
Wol'jin: "Perfect. I know how we'll take down Lobo..."

Surrounded by Leon's forces, the group (with the exception of the Gorillas) heads west on foot and on the Lion Tanks, throwing up a leaf camouflage on the Wolf and Scorpion aircraft. Ghana and her escort return to their helicopter and fly east to Gorilla HQ.
Amid the trees of the Great Forest, to the west and to the north of the Gorilla lands, the waters of one of the many rivers are disturbed, foaming and spraying as if many rocks had suddenly appeared where none had lain before. Then, they are there: many humps of scaled green bobbing at the surface, paddling swiftly upriver out of the Crocodile Swamp. They flit by quickly, vanishing as if they were never there, hidden beneath the water, travelling who-knows-where as the river curls north and east, vanishing into the thick woodland seldom visited by either Lion or Gorilla.

OOC: I just looked at the map; the Crocs were travelling through the woods between Lion and Bear territtories, not between Lion and Gorilla lands.
IC: The Crocodile contingent heads ever northwards, rising from the river before sinking sinking into another north of Cavora, swimming up into the lands of the Minor Tribes.
Percival, an exceedingly vain peacock who once served as third-in-command of the Minor Tribes, was wandering through the Great Forest, admiring his reflection in the surface of a small lake. He really look rather exquisite, positively gleaming in this exuberant sunlight, his wonderful feathers mirrored so well in the water and ice-
Something touched the back of his head, and ice enveloped him. Percival tried to move, struggling uselessly against the solid ice around him. There were two of them, he could see, blurred shapes hefting the ice block into the air. They were moving him...down. The brown earth seemed to swallow them up...were they underground? The circle of light overhead vanished, leaving Percival blind in the dark of the tunnel.
After months of inaction, the second wave of the Sabretooth Invasion has begun.
