Scattered around the centre of Chima, touching most regions of the land, lies the Great Forest. It is largely left untouched, save for a few settlements at it's borders. It's depths, filled with plants and life, hide both marvellous and dangerous secrets, with many an expedition entering it's heart to seek new species and plants, for the sake of science and adventure. The Great Forest is and will probably continue to be the oldest and largest forest in Chima
It's borders, into were a few lumbering operations and towns cut, trying to sap into the Forest's potential, are more well-known. Many people have it involved into one of their hobbies and activities. Several streams cross it, feeding the plants and animals in it, and many Chimeans like to go for a swim, or fish in them.
This is the Great Forest, mighty, imposing, and beautiful. Just make sure it doesn't swallow you up.
Some averaged sized bears enter the forest and start cutting down a some trees. One bear stops a couple of bears from cutting down a tree and points out that there is a bee hive in it.

"Whaaa! OH! Raven... it's just a raven...(Voice slowly declines) OH! It's a raven. Excuse me but last I knew I was...Huh. never mind ummm... we are clearing for a settlement and in doing that we are to bring supplies back to the HQ. Who knows what Blitz is thinking. But rumor has it..." Leans in to the raven while looking around
{JAMMERS! -RAVENS- ONLY!} "Rumor has it Blitz is getting himself very militarily strong. He thinks that a war is brewing in Chima, and he is going to be at the top of the danger list. At least that's what I heard from my friend Blesser. He's a Cave guard."

A bear settlement/fortress is slowly coming together. Bears are hoisting Large logs to create walls and cabins. While some others...lay sleeping. NAP TIME!

*A large bang can be heard be herd from outside, it is followed by a loud shout:* IC Gorilla Chima Natural Preservation Group (CNPG) representative: replant the trees, this land is for all not just for you.

Lions start building a massive palisade wall in the area they have cleared.
Raven Raiders land. A few of them wave, catching the attention of the CNPG Gorillas. "Hey! Watch this!" They begin slicing down trees, making way for an airfield. They quickly place them in rows and begin hauling them off to Raven HQ. Other Ravens begin work on missile launch field.
