The Eagle Spire is abuzz with activity as pilots report to briefing rooms and ground crews ready Eagle Interceptors for launch.
About five tank platoons cross the horizon, seemingly accompanied by other trucks and armoured vehicles. Then, they stop in their rapid advance. A trio Lion jets buzz the Eagle Spires, taking reconnaissance pictures, and return to the origin of their expedition. An eerie silence befalls on the Lion positions, except for the low sound of soldiers whispering among themselves.
A group of three speedors approaches your group, the lead bear says, "May I speak with whomever is in charge here."

IC: Bat Commander: "Since when are you the bosses of every species? We can withdraw our military forces but we will not withdraw our civilians from this land that is willingly shared with us!"

"We do not consider ourselves the chiefs of all nations, arrogant and presumptuous Bat! That is why we have come bearing arms! If you suspend your forced laws, then we shall accept your citizens!
Bat: "We aren't enforcing any laws on the eagles though. There were those Overwatch officers, but they've left."
"Properly declaring war? You blew up their communication towers and border weapons before you delcared war! They're giving you a chance at peace, and you're ignoring it? No true warrior wages war against someone who will not fight."
"We had declared war against them long ago! And they are not asking for peace! They invaded our lands and crushed our people without exchanging a single word! Their 'peace treaty' does not eliminate the problems that caused the conflict, and paves the way to further bloodshed."
Bat Commander: "Destroying us in cold blood won't bring the fallen back. But negotiating for peace will prevent many more casualties of war."

"The Ice...it is coming."
Bat Commander: "Badrar, you're awake! What do you mean?" Doctors check his eyes for blindness. At that moment, some of the scattered remnants of the scorpion army stumble into the region. A scorpion soldier bursts through the doors of the factory hospital. Scorpion: "He's right! Supreme Leader Scorpix has been frozen!" Bat Commander: "What??" Scorpion: "Hundreds of our best soldiers...over 70% of our army...defeated and frozen by birds of ice, invaders from the north. They came swift like cold winds and attacked both us and the ravens we were fighting."

Badrar's eyes intensify in whiteness at the words of the scorpion, but start to fade to blue afterwards.
Badrar: "I dreamt of this...ice sweeping southwards, northern invaders crushing us...if only I could have woken sooner."
Badrar blinks, and his eyes return to normal.
Badrar: "Send out scouts to gather as many of the scorpion remnants as possible, then try and get me a connection with Black Fang Mountain."
