Vela walks over and pulls her sword out of the mecha’s hand, then sits down and listens intently. Jai continues,
”Anyway, east. I can buy the materials at the Lion City market, and Beavers might just fix it up for free.”
“Erm, I’m not really liked by the lions, so I think it’d be best to not go there.”
“Then you’ll have to hang tight while I get the materials myself. It shouldn’t stay here, so you’d best take it somewhere we can meet up again. Maybe... the Forever Rock? Once that’s done, I want to talk some more.”

He climbs down from atop his mecha, and begins work on reconnecting the severed leg.

He nods and turns to leave, only to nearly bump into Vela. Standing several inches taller than Jai, she looks down on him, sword on her back and hands on her hips.
”Talk about what? You guys just tried to kill each other, and now you wanna talk?”
”Look... ?”
He gestures quizzically.
”Name’s Vela.”
”Look, Vela, you may have saved my life, and for that I’m grateful, but this isn’t any of your business.”
”Ha! Like heck it isn’t. You owe me, dude. You owe me your life, or something like that.”
He glares up at her.
”I didn’t ask for you to interfere, and I had it under control. Nothing is owed.”
Her face turns red, and she scowls.
”Fine then. Whatever.”
With that, she swiftly takes her leave. Jai watches her go, then looks back at Konuba when she’s gone.
”She’ll follow. I’ll see you at the Rock, and we can deal with her there.”

The Bat Commander intervenes. Bat Commander: "Perhaps you could participate in the signing of the peace treaty, if you wish. If not, we will ask that you not fight anyone in this region anymore until the treaty is signed by the main factions here."

A bat looks around at Yamamoto, Eddesa, and the other inlanders and forgotten gathered. Bat: "Thank you for coming. The acting Bat Commander will arrive shortly." The bat looks dismayed that no lions are present yet, and looks up into the sky, searching for the lion aircraft that'd been above the region earlier.
