The muffled, yet distinctive sound of rotors spinning above his head, accompanied by occasional radio chatter filled his ears. Flight Lieutenant Ivan Lev turned on his microphone and issued orders to the flight of helicopters he commanded:
"This is Able Leader to Able Flight, we are approaching the combat zone. I'll, uh, go forward to scout, Able two, follow me. As for the others, guard the column. Out."
It was his first combat operation. Until now, he had been doing fine, although he thought it was nothing to write home about. Out of the formation, two helicopters sped away forwards. From his gunner seat, he adjusted his gunner monocle to scan the great spires built by the Eagles. Ivan then unleashed a small string of unintelligible words in surprise.
"The reports were right!" said the lieutenant to his pilot after recovering, "It looks like the blew a whole face off, those mad apes! Thermals seem to indicate fighting at the bottom too... Let's go back before one of the insects spots us."
The two helicopters then hastily turned around to reach the column of AFVs discretely advancing.
Jai clamps his helmet on and activates its visor, marking every Bat within a hundred yards. Seeing that no weapon is pointed back at him, he hesitates for a second... but only a second.
He gets to work ruthlessly picking them all off with incredible speed and accuracy, starting with the nearby medic, all the while keeping an eye out for guards.
Konuba sees the evil eagle and runs towards him, drawing his sword to bring it down onto the Eagle, and consequently the injured bat. He doesn't realize the bat is still alive though, and shows no hesitation to crush them both.
Jai sees the mecha coming before it even starts its dash.
"What in blazes... ?"
Noting that he won't have time to fix his wing and get off the ground, he plants his feet and gets into a readied stance. He tosses aside his sidearm and shield, which dissipate into nothingness, and replaces them with a single, larger weapon.
Konuba sees the evil eagle and runs towards him, drawing his sword to bring it down onto the Eagle, and consequently the injured bat. He doesn't realize the bat is still alive though, and shows no hesitation to crush them both.

Just as the mech is about to bring its sword down, Jai rushes forward and leaps, twisting around in midair and firing a single rocket into the ground behind him at just the right distance, using the force of the explosion to launch himself away from the blow and straight between the legs of the giant right as it’s sword hits the earth where he’d been a second ago. He lands on the other side, rolls backwards, and comes up facing the mecha’s back, into which he fires a single rocket.

-distant Overwatch sirens are heard and the voice echos as they deteced their biological signals and sounded the alarms-
“Attention Ground Protection Teams... anti-civil forces reported in this community. Code: Lock. Cauterize. Stablize.”
-Soon, they are hailed with AA fire from the bats below (correct me if im wrong about anything), and Overwatch Gunships let out their synthy roars before intercepting lion transports as they fly into battle, Bat Wingstrikers covering the Synths as they draw fire away from them-
-Soon the lions whom are under attack receive a radio transmission with the location of origin desginated as “Forgotten N.L.E.”-
Col. Edessa Cubbage: “Ah! Combine buggers messing about with you, Felines? Well well well, dont mind if we help aid you! I am Col. Edessa Cubbage at your service, an Eagle whom is smitten with anger at those apes for destroying the Eagle’s homeland! We share the same idea and it is time you lions recognize the Forgotten as a valuable ally! Rocket teams, into position and take down those Gunships with your laser-guided rockets! Tally ho!” -his voice bellowed in a very british accent before eagle-screetching and the radio transmission cut out-
-soon a few divisions of 300 rocket trooper backed by companys of Medics and Regular grunts arrive from the south to help aind in the Lion’s sudden ambush-

Jai times his dodge just right again, once more being knocked to the ground by the wave of force. Breathing heavy, he retorts,
”Says the giant robot to the guy on foot. I don’t even know who you are!”
He flips back upright and fires the grapple into the mecha’s forehead. It pulls him right at it, and he vaults over it, landing on its back.

"A voice is a powerful enough weapon. They would've called for soldiers, or worse."
A spherical device appears in Jai's other hand.
"Stand down so we can chat, or I'll waste your machine."
Kobuna swings its head as he grapples it, attempting to knock Jai to the side with the fin before he even got on top.

”What the heck do you think you’re doing! Stop! Do you know how long it took me to paint this thing! Aaaagh!”
