The lions lock down their settlement and take all the most precious minerals with them into the lower levels, safe and underground. Lion NPCs whisper to each other: "A war has started!" "I know! Did you hear about the attack on our city?" "Yeah! Luckily, our fellow lions have turned the tide of the battle." "I heard the eagles are being attacked, too! I wonder how they're doing..."
Missiles land, destroying most all buildings. Two bunkers collapse partially due to the rapidity of the strikes.
The lions from those bunkers narrowly escape and move into the main, heavily fortified bunker. The lions and all of their minerals are now safe underground.

OOC: What are the sizes of the missiles?
IC: The barrage is met with a stream of anti-air fire and shrapnel shells, seeking to detonate the missiles, and halt a large part of the destruction.

OOC: They'd be considered weak for modern day but are highly potent in Chima due to our somewhat primitive structures. They're... about the size of a motorcycle each.
IC: The AA turrets succeed slightly in. Stopping most of the strikes. Raven Raiders seem to follow right after the bombing.

OOC: Are you sure they would have enough fuel to attack the- Oh, yes, Chi blasted macguffin, third-class applied phlebotinum, silly plot device. I ought to ring Leonardo to do something about the missiles.
IC: They are met with the same flak that defended the town from the missiles, only slightly withered down by the hail of rockets. They are also greeted by LMG crews and snipers firing at them.

The Lions find the Raiders are flying out of range. As the Raiders pass overhead, bombs rain down on the settlement.

OOC; Are Raven Raiders now equipped with stratospheric flight abilities now?
OOC: I agree, it seems you ravens are getting a bit too powerful.
OOC: How so? We're just one tribe.
OOC: I have to agree with Torah on this one, but I think some of the bombs would have in theory would have detonated before hitting the ground even if it is a small minority.

OOC: But since there are no airfields nearby, then I can't deploy fighters to intercept, therefore making them undefeatable for the moment.

I don't think missiles should have been allowed at all in this. Now other people are going to want missiles. It's unrealistic to just have jets flying around bombing people to smitherines and then just have them fly away. The missiles just seem a bit too OP. I don't think anyone thought about the destructive power of the missiles.
I was an avid reader on the MBs and not a user. You will not recognize me but I will recognize you...

OOC: Come on, man. I do not RP with my missiles in an OP fashion. It took me weeks before they were set up. And then, I had to have Beavers help too. After that, I gave the Lions plenty of disguised warning before their impact. The bombs at your HQ only hindered your missile strike building process so the Ravens could negotiate with you for a moment through letters. And, we're RAVENS. A Sky-born tribe of Chima, capable of designing something like this with ease. If we were some other tribe, like Bears, I would agree, no missiles for them right away. Besides, it takes a long time to make sufficient amounts of missiles in order to do a substantial strike on any HQ. If anyone's allowed missiles, it's the Ravens.
