In the north of Chima, the largest mountain range has stood for centuries. These are the Iron Mountains. They received their namesake due to the large amounts of iron covering their cracks and crevices. This is the main location that the citizens of Chima use to obtain iron. Many come here to mine the iron and other minerals, for use in architecture, masonry, and vehicle building. The farther north one ventures, the colder the mountains are. Beyond them is the northernmost (and coldest) region of Chima, where it is constantly snowing. However, no animals have been past the mountains without proper equipment, so the northern region is mostly unexplored.
OOC: So here's a place where you can come and mine for iron and other minerals, build vehicles (make sure you get your vehicles approved in the FAC first ), attempt to climb the tall peaks, and maybe even do battle. Have fun!
The Crocs continue their work, and the settlement nears completion. The Helicrocters aggressively patrol the surrounding airspace.
The settlement is completed. Croc mechanics begin building more vehicles, especially transports. The Claw Rippers begin ferrying the mined metals back to the Croc HQ.

OOC: Yeah, they were never required.
IC: Raven pilots wave at patrol surrounding airspace and continue collecting. One of them deploys a speedor that had been carried by his Raven Flyer, heading over to the settlement.

Croc guards man the walls, and all available weaponry is aimed at this Raven.

OOC: It's overkill, I know.
The raven peeps sheepishly as he nears the gate. "Just wawnted to say a friendly 'hellaw'... lettin' you boys know that we're just collecting supplies for our HQ over there. Nothing major." The NPC grins and gulps. "All good?"

The leader tries to smile, scares the Raven, and speaks.
"I don't care what you windbags are doing up here in the Mountains. Leave us alone, and we won't bother you. Now get out."
The Croc guards fire their blasters on low power to scare the Raven away.
In one of the far off parts of the mountain, near some interesting but seemingly inoffensive ruins, the seeds of a Lion settlement are planted as a convoy reaches it, and houses are built. Several mines are built under the Kingdom's orders, as to exploit the mountain's iron, and other branches are dug with a more militaristic purpose.

In a shriek of surprise, the Raven revs his speedor engine and blasts away. "I'll tell my leader about this!" He howls.

A large force of tough looking bears with mining equipment go farther away from the other two outposts and start climeing the treacherous mountains. They set up a mining post about half way up near a river running down one of the mountains.
I was an avid reader on the MBs and not a user. You will not recognize me but I will recognize you...
