On Saturday I will post a story on here, but first you need to know the past in order to understand it.
Prologue part 1
Jamie walked through the corridors of her home. It was her 10th birthday. She stopped at the dining hall where her breakfast was waiting, along with her family & all of the important people in her village. "Happy Birthday Jamie." Her mother said. "Thanks mom!" She replied. Her father, Ice Shard, looked at her as he ate his food. "The big 1-0." He said. Her half brother nodded. "Yeah, you'll be a teenager in no time!" He replied. Her grandfather, Anthony, looked at her as he finished his food. "We should be going." He said to her father & brother. "Sorry." He said to me as he finished his plate. "I need to go." "It's ok." she replied, not trying to be disappointed. Then after they all finished their food, they all, except for Jamie, left to do important stuff. How come they have to be so busy? Jamie thought. Even Mom & Johnathan need to do stuff. Later that night, her mom came into her room. "Jamie?" She asked. Jamie looked at her. "Yeah mom?" "Come with me." She replied. Moments later Jamie was somewhere she had never been before. "I brought you here so no one can hear us." Jamie looked confused. "Why?" she asked. Her mom looked at her. "Because I am going to tell you something that if it is told to Anthony, It would mean the smashing of a couple innocent people." Jamie looked at her & nodded. "What is it?" Her mother looked at her seriousness in her eyes, "You are not the daughter of Ice Shard." Jamie looked shocked. "What?" Her mother started to tell her story. "When I was a young woman, before you were born, I met a young man & we fell in love. But one day, Anthony came to me & told me he was the leader of a big village & wanted me to marry his son, who was a widower & had a toddler son. I refused, but he said that if I didn't marry him, he would smash the young man I loved. I reluctantly agreed. It would be months before they would take me away to the village, so the young man & I secretly got married. During that time he had an idea to create a son so he wouldn't be alone & to help others after he was gone. We got to work, & before I left, I helped him create a power source with both of our DNA. when I met Ice Shard, I asked him in secret to pretend to get married instead of for real. He agreed. I was already a week pregnant by the time of the wedding. & now we're here." She finished. Jamie looked at her like her world she knew was over. "Did the man succeed in making the robot?" She asked. "a week after you were born, I got a secret letter from him, saying that he succeeded & he was turned on the day you were born." Jamie smiled. "Ok." She said. Jamie's mom walked her back to her room. "Goodnight." Jamie's mom said. "Night mom!" She replied. After her mom left, Jamie got to thinking. Where are my father & brother now? Am I in danger if he finds out? Why did Anthony pick my mom? What is my destiny?
Sorry if you can't read Jamie's font color. one thing that might help is to highlight the section you're on.

Prologue part 2:
Jamie walked out onto the balcony. The fireworks were going off. She smiled & walked back into the room. It was her 13th birthday party, but the only people there were important people. Anthony walked over to her with a boy about 1 to 3 years older than her. “Jamie, meet Prince Jock.” “Hi.” Jamie said. “& I made a deal with his father that when you’re old enough, you two are going to be wed.” “What?!” Jamie exclaimed. She could not believe he did that without her parents’ consent. A few hours later she went to her room & went out her window to a part of a roof below the window. A boy her age was waiting for her. “How was the party?” He asked. “Great, except my ‘Grandfather’ got me engaged to a jerk & an idiot.” She sighed. “That bad, huh?” He said. She smiled. Then the clock struck Midnight. “Happy Birthday.” He said as he gave her a present. “You didn’t think your best friend wasn’t going to give you a present?” She opened it & there was something that looks like a kitty. “It’s a robotic kitty. It feels like the real thing, but it doesn’t need food, water, or sleep. It can if you want though.” He explained. “I made it myself.” He added. “It’s amazing James.” She said. “Thank you.” “No problem.” He replied. “I thought it would keep you company since we won’t be seeing each other as much.” "Yeah.” She said. “Security around will tighten now that I’m 13, & will be under Anthony’s control.” “Have you heard anything more about your father & brother?” He asked. “No.” She replied. After a few more minutes, James left & Jamie got ready for bed.
*A few hours later*
Jamie woke up suddenly. Alarms were going off. She got dressed & ran out. “What is it?” She asked a servant. “The village is being attacked.” The servant replied. Oh No! She thought. She ran out & met up with her mom. It was chaos everywhere. “Johnathan is evacuating people.” She said. They ran outside. Some of the attackers saw them. “I’ll hold them off.” She said. “But mom.” Jamie said. “Run. You need to go.” She told her daughter. “I love you.” Jamie said. “I love you too.” She replied. “Now go!” Jamie ran & once she was a good distance away, she saw her mom taken captured, & the same for Ice Shard. Without them, Anthony won’t hold back! She thought. She ran. “Jamie?” She knew that voice, it was Johnathan! She turned around & saw him. “I can’t go with you!” She told him. “I’m not safe from him!” “I understand.” He said. “Take care.” “You too!” She said. She then started running again. Where will I go now? She asked. She then decided to find the only family she had left. She petted her new robotic kitty. I will find you father. She said as she ran away from all she knew.

Prologue part 3:
*1 year later*
Jamie looked around as she entered the village. This was one of her best Birthdays ever. She found her father, but he was captured. Luckily, she was able to follow him & got to talk to him. He said to find her brother & he will have no memory. He forgot to tell her his name or what he looks like, but she knew this was the closest village from her father’s workshop. So, it would be likely he would be here. As she walked through the village, she heard something in an alley way. "I do not understand, I do not have anything!” She heard another voice. “You must have something of value.” She looked where she heard the voice & she saw a teen with a tan/blonde flattop & 4 men with daggers, all pointing at him. She had to help him. She grabbed a trash can lid & threw it at one of them & hit his back. The one who apparently was the leader commanded the 2 to hold the teen. “Let him go!” She said. The leader smiled. “He might be valuable to someone, so even if he doesn’t have anything, we can always hold him for ransom.” “Actually,” He interrupted. “I can’t remember if I anyone cares about me.” “Zip it!” the leader said. He looked back at her. “Now scram before we take you too.” The one she hit with the lid stood up & charged at her. She fended off him very well. Her few months of training with Sensei Wu paid off. The leader then put the knife up to the teen’s neck. “Don’t move, or else.” She stood there, not sure what to do. She then relaxed & quickly made a thin sheet of ice around them. The group slipped & slid. She then skated over to them & pushed them out of the alley way. She looked at the teen who had slipped too. She made the ice disappear & walked over to him & held her hand out. When he took it, she sensed something. He’s the one! She thought. “Thank you.” He said. “No problem.” She replied. “Why did you help me?” He asked. She smiled. “I want to protect those who cannot protect themselves.” She answered. “I’m new here.” He remarked. “I am too.” She replied. “I’m Jamie.” “Zane.” He said. “Nice to meet you Zane.” She said. “Do you have a family?” “I don’t remember anything except for a few minutes before I encountered them.” He said sadly. “So I don’t know.” He looked at her. “How about you?” “I’m out on my own.” She said. “My mother was captured by raiders & my father is dead.” “I am sorry.” He said. They walked & talked as a friendship was born.

Just a hint, I would use darker colors for the text as I literally had to highlight it to read it:S:P.

Prologue part 4:
*About 2 to 3 years later*
It has been a few weeks since Lloyd defeated the Overlord, but Dr. Julien was dying. Jamie walked in. Zane was already there. “Hello Zane.” Zane looked at her. “Hello.” Dr. Julien looked at her & then Zane. “Can I have a word with Jamie Zane?” Zane looked at his father. "Of course.” After Zane left, he motioned at Jamie to a chair next to his bed. After she sat down he started to talk with her. “Does he know?” He asked her. She shook her head. “No.” He found out he was a nindroid already, but he didn’t know the truth about her. “Tell him.” Jamie looked at her father. “Are you sure?” The old man nodded. “Yes, after I am gone.” A few moments passed until Jamie told Zane that he could come in now, & at Dr. Julien’s request, They took a picture of the 3 of them.
*About a week later*
It was a short & small memorial. Only the ninja, Jamie’s team called Team Elemental, & Dareth were there. Garmadon & Misako would’ve come, but they were busy. “He was a kind man.” Jamie started. Zane had asked her to say some words about him. “He was also brave. What he lacked in fighting skills, he gained in tinkering, piloting, & being a good father & creator. We may think he’s gone, but he’s not, he will always be with his family in their hearts & minds. So,” Jamie concluded, starting to tear up a little. “We say goodbye to a man who will be missed & without him, we would not have this amazing Nindroid before us.” She then walked down, wiping a few small tears from her eyes. She walked into a back room & Zane followed her. “Are you ok?” He asked. She turned around. “Yes, I owe a lot to him.” He looked at her. “I see.” She looked at him. You can do this. She took a deep breath. “Your father wanted me to tell you something.” “What is it?” He asked. She then made an ice snowflake sculpture. “How did you do that?” She explained everything to him. “Don’t tell anyone.” She said. “I won’t until you say the time is right.” He replied. “Thanks.” She said as she hugged her brother. “No problem.”
I changed Zane & Jamie's colors so it's a little better to read.

Chapter 1: Birthday Surprise part 1
*A few months later*
Darkness. It’s all she could see. Then, 2 purple eyes. The overlord! She saw her brother fall. Then fire around her, in her old village. Then she saw what she was afraid of the most. Her brother, on the ground, & a figure behind him. No! It was Anthony. Slowly, he walked towards her, & she slowly walked back, until she was backed up into a corner. He smiled, grabbed her arm, & chained her to the ground. He smiled & pulled out another boy. James. He placed the boy beside the fallen Nindroid, & raised his sword. She was helpless to save them. No! The sword was being lowered fast. It’s about to make its mark….
Jamie woke up with a jump. She looked around & saw she was in her room. Then, Zane walked in. She sighed in relief. His Titanium skin shone brightly. “Good morning.” She smiled at him. “Yes, it is.” She chuckled. It was good to have him back. She thought she lost him, until she found him inside the Digiverse. She & PIXAL helped make his new body. But celebration was cut short by her losing him again. Ronin had captured him & took him to Chen. The ninja had recently rescue him. “Happy Birthday.” He said. She looked at him. “Happy Birthday to you too.” Her smile then faded. Zane noticed that. “You seem troubled.” He sat on her bed, next to her. “Nothing, Just a dream.” Zane looked a little alarmed. “What was the dream?” She explained it to him. “Ah.” He said. “It was just a dream.” Jamie looked at him. “dreams sometimes aren’t just dreams. You know it better than anyone else here.” He saw the worry in his sister’s eyes. “I can’t lose you again!” Zane grabbed her hand. “I’ll be fine. I have my brothers to help me, & you & James have your team & eachother.” He stood up. “You coming?” he asked. “The others are working on the party.” Jamie stood up. “ok. Are you sure it won’t get out?” After the Tournament, she decided that the ninja were trustworthy to keep the secret. “Yes. Only Kai, Jay, Cole, Lloyd, Nya, Wu, Misako, & Team Elemental are going to be there.” He walked out of the room followed by Jamie.

Birthday Surprise part 2
When Jamie walked up to the deck of Wisdom’s Beauty, she could see that a large plank had connected it with Destiny’s Bounty to make more room. Jem was directing Jay on a birthday sign. “A little to the left. Now a little to the right. Too much, back to the left a little. Raise it up a little.” Jay looked at her annoyed. “Make up your mind Jem.” Jamie smiled at them. She had no idea if he knew about him & Jem. She looked around & Catlyn was getting an Overlord Piñata ready. Lokai was by the door to the Bounty’s kitchen making sure no one got to the cake prematurely (Namely Cole). I saw Lloyd looking off the side of the Bounty. She couldn’t blame him, He recently lost his father. she sighed as she thought of Garmadon. All those years separated from his children, & only having a few months to spend with them. He was a wise man & before the Overlord came back, she would occasionally visit & sit in on his lessons. Lilliana walked up from the deck of wisdom’s beauty & got some tea for her & Lloyd. She had really grown up since Jamie had met her about a week after her village was attacked. She had more to go, but she was progressing. The rest were working on the party. “Are you excited about the party?” A familiar voice asked behind her. “No, I’m not excited about cake, presents, games, & spending time with my friends.” She said sarcastically. “Would you be more excited if I told you I was providing music?” She turned around & faced him. “Of course, James.” She was happy he was here.
