For those of you that played, what was your first rare? I remember, my first was Green Parrot from admirals in Gnarled Forest. It was worth 10,000 at the time since the game was new and nobody had lots of plastic. I ended up just giving it to my friend who really wanted it though:P. At the end of LU parrots were worth like at least 100,000, shows how much prices changed. I had over a million plastic, I believe I was the first user to crack a million:O! I was a ruthless trader, I think that's why everybody hated me:P.
I don't think I ever found a rare. Or at least I didn't realise it, if I did. I was much younger then and did not look much into these stuff. Though I don't being F2P would help (except for a month I played with the disc).
There weren't many rares in AG. The Space Headgear was the rarest item from AG if I remember correctly, but even that wasn't worth much. This was probably because the Maelstrom in AG were so easy to smash that even the rarer items were more common to get.

Um, everything. The only similar thing is you can brick build and how the minifigures move around. LEGO Universe was an MMO, so there were TONS of users you could play and trade with. There was so much more to do. You could fight enemies, build on properties, race, play minigames, and chat with other players. I would do anything to get it back, hence why I am working on C++ instead of Java now:P.
and tit's being brought back in a few years, right?
Hopefully! DLU is doing well, according to what they say they have Avant Gardens complete up to the property mission:O! Hopefully they can continue to make progress. I just hope it doesn't fall apart, that's the biggest concern with free games:S.

Darkflame Universe, a remake of its, is entering Alpha on January 31st.

They have completed the Venture Explorer and Avant Gardens from what they said. They have been working on it since 2013 I believe, but I guessing a lot of the hardest work is already done and worlds should come faster now than back then.

The only thing I miss about the official ones are the users who can't come here AKA Molly:(. I will miss her so much:(. I will also miss the oldies who I know I will never see again like The Dude and HQuiff:(.

I've followed them since August, awaiting for this moment. Proud to have suspected something big was coming up!
I'll be sure to provide you with all commentary I can give. I'm not sure how open the DLU Team will be on the testers' sharing stuff like screenshots and videos.

I was looking up old LEGO Universe users, so I looked up NineWells. He was the user who got me into building and was LITERALLY a father to me. We had a falling apart after a fight before the end. I haven't talked to him since. He had cancer, and I just found out that a few years ago he died. I am absolutely in shock. I never got to make things right with him. I will never get over this:(.
