He'd shatter our timeline over there lol. It may look chaotic, but it is organised in the chaos. =P It wouldn't be chaotic if we could've gotten a roleplay board and made each place a topic, then there wouldn't be like seven different quote chains/plots being carried out in one topic. It'd have to be a new, seperate RP. Also, no species from regular chima is in fanon chima, so no tunnel cats or eagles, but the timeline and organised even though it looks chaotic are both more important.
Hecc, why don'tchu join the fanon rp? We could use an extra hand, join the Flygons why don't you~? The Desert, it's no place like home indeed! I think i did try to make a map for that rp as well as this one, i dunno how old and out-dated they could be but hey i was trying to make content for this rp, even character illustrations too!
Sure, though I'm still familiarizing myself with the lore.
Feel free to take your time. =P Decade's a bit pushy sometimes. =P

I'm back from reading a hefty portion of the HQs and I have a simple set of questions...
First, I am sensing that a majority of the plot is based on certain video games that I myself know very little about. (Half Life, Portal 1 & 2.) Are any of you still pursuing this direction, or going for a more original idea?
Second, I'm kind of confused with the very blatant recreations of actual historical events and figures. Subtle sure, but Yamamato & George H. W. Bush? Is this still a direction you are all pursuing as well, because I feel like I'm reading a mod with a Chima reskin.
I am fascinated though with the some of the concepts explored here and applaud most of them, but I'll be honest and say I won't be persuing either of the above directions. I will interact and keep the established lore intact with my interactions, but for me personally I'll be carrying on in a different direction that is more akin to the show, albeit more fleshed out. (The search of the Nameless Rhino, Whit's buisness deals with established factions, etc.) The character of Eliaphet is removed from most of the history as I established at "Forever Rock" that she had been away for a long time on an exploration to produce accurate maps for the Eagle Tribe.
Thirdly, I would like to know if concepts from the video game Laval's Journey are allowed here, and if so what are they? I would like for Ino, the nameless Rhino, to have the ability to summon a rock shield as shown in the game, but if that is too OP I will recant.

Don't worry, J will fill you in with a wall or Stephen King-sized novel of lore for ya.

Ah, yeah, I can explain that.
TheFirstDecade was the one who based many of his characters and his plots on those games, back during the Outland Tribes' invasion, but from the Fire vs Ice stage onward, his characters have been more original. His faction The Forgotten, for example, was originally based directly on those games, but became a lot more "Chima-like" as the RP went on.
Egorsmirnov, a roleplayer who has seemingly left, had a great deal of real-world history knowledge, and was the one who based many of his characters off of political figures. The very long history he wrote for the Gorilla Tribe was like a mashup of many different historical event inspirations. The gorilla George H. W. Bush was the last of these characters he created, shortly after the passing of the real life George H. W. Bush.
The rest of us all based our stuff off of, well, Chima. (Although a few of my characters are named after fictional characters I like, and my Empire of Balance was inspired by the Eternal Empire from Star Wars: The Old Republic, but the former are just references, and the latter was more of an aesthetic inspiration.)

Interesting.
I'm alright with subtle references as for some I guess it provides some sort of grounding for the Rp...but you could imagine my surprise when I read Yamamato the Gorilla's bio in the wiki.
I'll be continuing my journey through each of the HQ's and whatnot. Plotlines that have been forgotten are quite my jam, as I hear at the Wolf HQ Mistress Lupa sent out a young nomad wolf to persue two possible bounties...one of whom was described as a dangerous wild wolf. (Wonder if Whit could factor into this...)
Secondly, about the Laval's Journey question from the previous post...is it allowed?

When this RP started, I was four years younger and didn't yet know about a lot of those historical figures.
I also recommend reading the timeline if you haven't already. It fits everything together (as best as it can). About the Laval's Journey rhino thing... that does sound a bit like an elemental power? Although I guess we could say a rhino can quickly forge a shield out of the nearest rock via chi-enhanced speed and strength.

Man i still seriously gotta make art for alot of the characters from this Rp and update some old ones. Alot of my characters could use some face-lifts.

Speaking of that, does anyone know of a resource i can use so i can reference off the head-mods of Chima minifigures to make them look somewhat accurate? I know i have three at my physical disposal (Gorzan's, Tormak's, and Sykor's headpieces), but i need a digital reference to go off of instead when i make art so i can capture it at many different angles.
