This is the place for newbies to ask questions, find out what's going on in the RP, and how you can fit in. Also, HQ leaders are allowed to try and recruit you. However, all HQ leaders must respect new member decisions and must not get in fights over recruits. Pretty straightforward.
The great, the awesome, the legendary EPICNINJA is thinking about ROLEPLAYING!? YES! FINALLY!
Well, it's just like what Brimy said. It is very much like writing a story, except for you only get to write what your character is doing while the other characters do what their writers write. From there, you just react to what is going on based on your character's personality.
To get started just submit a bio (I'll give you a sample), you can have up to 3 characters in different HQs (all characters must be on same side though) and then just start writing. You have to keep in mind that your character can only stay in one place so beware of making him/her omnipresent. From there, you can just do what you want. Be sure to refer to your HQ leader for orders, unless your character is rebellious and just have fun. I can help you with any other questions if you have any.
(I'm so glad you're here)
PS: I am the leader of the Ravens if you wish to be a raven. Your name could be... Rizza or something.

Oi! You can't advertise your allegiance here! Get out! Growf!

Yes you can. This is the Newbie Training Topic. Where else can you advertise to Newbies? I even stated that this was the place for it in the beginning post.
Thanks for the answers! Having just read through a bunch of the topics to see it firsthand, my impressions are the same as they were on the old boards: overwhelming and hard to keep track of. It'll definitely take some getting used to, but hey, if it were that hard, no one would do it...
Two questions:
1. You say I can have three characters. Can all of them be from separate tribes, so long as I'm never interacting with myself?
and 2. Since this is before modern Chima, (and in a timeline different from what I'm used to ) can I use Loradus before he got OP?

Ugh It's fun, Epic.
A-1: You can interact with yourself, as long as you don't fight with yourself or the characters are part of rivaling HQs.
A-2: Yes, I believe you can. As long as he stays semi-normal.

I hope you change your mind and join us.
Change my mind? I never said no in the first place! Being overwhelmed hasn't stopped me from doing things before.
And I think I'll stick to one character, because with Chima, you never know which HQs will be rivals.
Hey I'm confused on how the whole smashing thing works I saw it a lot on the old message boards. It seems hard to be fighting someone with words (describing fighting moves) cause then they can always counter your movements. And who decides when or who gets smashed?
I was an avid reader on the MBs and not a user. You will not recognize me but I will recognize you...
Some more questions, is there a designated time we go to the lion chi temple to get chi, and how do we get golden orbs? Do we race for them like in the episodes? Or are the lions corrupt and keep it all for them selves?

Characters aren't usually smashed unless the person controlling them wants them to be smashed for story purposes or a different reason.

Ok, but then how will anyone win a battle?

Really? On the LMB Chima RP, smashing happened all the time. You respawned of course, but smashing did happen...
