Backstory doesn't make sense at all for 3 reasons. One, it isn't a hive, Two, Spelyne would've smashed Cysona if they ended up arguing to the point of "hating her with a vengeance", and Three, there's no logical way for Cysona to have even gotten close enough to Spelyne to realize they have conflicting personalities.
No spider would defect anyways, they either are too terrified of Spelyne, or adore her too much, or just don't care enough to.
Also Cysona would be hunted down and smashed, if she defected, which she wouldn't.
