''The Brown Lands (Sindarin Berennyr) or Noman-lands was a region east of the Anduin between Mirkwood to the north and the Emyn Muil to the south.
The area was the home of the Entwives who made their gardens there; but during the War of the Last Alliance at the end of the Second Age, they were driven away when Galadron ruined the land against the advance of the Allies down the Anduin. Thenceforth the area became a desolate desert with arid moors. The Ents vainly had crossed the Anduin in search of the Entwives. They appeared convinced that the Entwives were not all destroyed but were "lost".
Even by the end of the Third Age, when the Fellowship of the Ring drifted by in boats upon the Great River, they saw only long, formless slopes with a withered look, without trees or even grass. What had caused such desolation not even Aragorn could tell.''
To clarify, it borders the following regions:
Dol Guldor (north)
West Rhovanion (north-east)
South Rhovanion (south-east)
The Dagorlad (south)
Emyn Muil (south)
The Wold (west)
It also borders Parth Celebrant and East Emnet, but the Anduin prevents passge here without ships. In this part of Middle-Earth, the only crossing point for the Great River is between the Brown Lands and the Wold, across the Undeeps.
The HQ that claims it will recieve 1, 000 MWE and 100 SWE.

*Over the past two days the barrage continues. Massive damage is inflicted on the fortress and many of the defenders are taken out. As large breaches form in the wall, the swordsmen and Maethyr I-Thewair swarm into the fortress and attack the troops.*
