You were working on that for nearly as long as I was doing the speeder race, then I crept over there and did it in one shot. To be fair, I think the scavenger character made it far easier
It was a stunning upset Guess sometimes changing character classes can really make a difference
You're welcome! Glad to hear your college adventure was a lot of fun and filled with adventure.
Agreed. Ah, I see. They definitely aren't that great to wear, but they are also the only nice-looking set of casual apparel that I have in my closet.
Wow. That's pretty cool. Hopefully it wasn't too deep. I was actually on a business trip this past week, and I ended up getting precipitation where I landed.
I see. That's usually the way it goes when it comes to producing good items out of hard-to-find ingredients.
Covid really changed my idea of what constitutes adventure
That's fair, they are pretty versatile apparel. And they have the added benefit of being reasonably sturdy so they'll last a good long while usually.
That probably depends, do you consider twelve inches to be deep? Oh nice, hope it went smoothly and the precipitation didn't put a damper on your trip.
Yep, just one of those fun things I have to constantly be aware of when buying groceries. On the bright side I've gotten weirdly good at couponing.
That's true. My college year during Covid wasn't too adventurous, but it certainly was a unique experience I'll never forget.
Indeed. I think I've had the same pairs of jeans for a few years now and they're still in pretty good condition. I had some pairs of jeans that had holes, but it seems having holes in jeans is a fashion style or something.
I'd say that's pretty deep, though I've never experienced a lot of snow before. That depth seems like enough snow that could block a door from opening. Yep, I was indoors most of the time so it was all good.
Yeah. Lots of reading of the ingredients labels. Very nice. I've gotten better at using coupons over the years, though there's not a lot of good coupons that I actually use.
Well, cheapest certainly wouldn't have me buying from IKEA. Their cheapest is expensive enough that I would rather just pay a bit more for matching at that point. I actually had some luck in the used furniture market this week, I managed to pick up 3 shelves for $20 total... one is a nearly 7ft tall IKEA cabinet that actually matches the color I wanted in the first place. Go figure. I'll probably still order some drawers eventually, but I was super happy to get some extremely cheap solutions for now. I'll eventually sell the 2 non IKEA ones for sure, but will probably hang on to the cabinet, it's really nice.
The one time things were so messed up that even after my mom called customer service, I still didn't get all the replacement parts. We had to use the website to request what was missing. That was the Plokoon jedi starfighter, I think. Classic set
As a kid I'd use paper, pencil, tape and glue to make some fun custom accessories and designs, but those times are past me. I'll stick with official LEGO parts, just swap them among minifigures. I've become a purist
Well, the taxes and groceries I had quite gotten used to... the lack of exams and homeworks is the unusual part for me
You mean all the LEGO games on Steam / Wii (for lack of better description)... or like the ones from the early 2000s too? Seems like a couple times a year Steam has very good sales, not sure for other platforms. Of course, since this is a new game you'll have to wait a long time.
Interesting. IKEA is usually the cheapest, at least in my area. Maybe there's other places with cheaper options. That makes sense. Fantastic, that's a great deal, especially if it's in pretty decent condition too. Slowly but surely getting to a better matching set of shelves.
Wow. LEGO Customer Service isn't usually like that, though for Plo Koon's starfighter being released around 2010, perhaps customer service was quite different back then.
Ah, very nice. Classic materials for custom things. That's cool too. I'm kind of a purist. I don't mind doing custom things as long as it's reversible and doesn't do permanent damage to LEGO pieces.
I see. For me, homeworks are more of doing actual project work for the company, and exams are like any time I need to present my work to someone. I suppose it's more like a final project than an exam, but I still feel like I need to make sure I demonstrate my understanding of the material the same way.
Oh yeah, just the ones on Steam or whatever I can play on my own computer. The early 2000s games were fun, but I don't think they're playable on my computer at this point. Sometimes I'll see older LEGO games for only $5 when it's Christmas/New Years or some other big holiday. Yeah, for the Skywalker Saga it'll be a while.
I think usually Walmart and Amazon have some cheaper options. I got some drawers this past week from IKEA to match everything else, they'll be useful in containing the bags of pieces. Honestly I might have to get an even smaller sized bag to maximize efficiency.
Well, with the first thing, one bag was replaced with another bag. We thought the plo koon situation was similar, but apparently everything was totally screwed up beyond just one bag being missing from the box. So my mom didn't articulate the problem well enough to customer service, I guess.
I'm starting to get used to my internship and I really enjoy my project, the only issue is the fact that I have to use Mac and they have so many locks on the computer that I can't even download some python packages until I bother IT, I guess. Killing me.
I think they have the $5 sales like 4 times a year Back in 2020 I took advantage of the holiday sale and got some of the games I'd played on wii as a kid, then realized how awesome it was with the remote play together feature and everything.
That's a fair point. Then Gen Z grew up and made it more socially acceptable. Part of me wants to see a remake of 1-6 with competent directing and broodier cinematography
I've never actually seen Transformers. Are the movies worth my watching? It seems I can stream them.
Well, I know a fan project reimagined the battle between Obi-Wan and Vader from a New Hope. Also, a new fan project about Vader hunting down a blind jedi master is coming out soon. Those might be worth checking out for a refined take on the older films. (Of course, Rogue One certainly has TheBatman-esque cinematography... )
The films depend on if you enjoy the director's type of work. Personally, no...but at least we got Transformers Prime and some cool ideas out of it. With Bumblebee (2018), it has a Sonic film type of vibe...albeit PG-13 and is worth checking out if that is your cup of tea.
And if you may be wondering, Nemesis Prime is basically an evil version of Optimus Prime with a red/black color scheme.
Yes, I've seen the fan project a New Hope, honestly the new Obi Wan show had a lot of similar elements. Rogue One is my favorite of the movies, for sure. For the most part, the add-on movies and shows have been more enjoyable than the trilogies.
Well, perhaps I'll watch the first one and see how I feel about...
