It is easily missed in the chaos that is the Skywalker-Solo family tree Reflecting on the Sequels considering recent Celebration.
I believe a compromise of having parallel timelines would have been nice, and interestingly the World Between Worlds introduced in Rebels allows for that somewhat.
Wiping 40 years of stories without much of a conclusion or fanfare is quite sad, though the potential introduced with Rey and Fin was squandered. Personally, I believe in making the best of what one's got and from the new Disney Canon Captain Sidon Ithano and Sarco Plank are my favorites. The characters of Rogue One as well.
On another note, the way Rey was set up in Force Awakens shares a similar arc with Nomi Sunrider. If only they had focused on her maturing from her attachment to her parents, her friendship with Finn in that they both are seeking their place in the galaxy by overcoming internal struggles, and how the legend of the Jedi meant to her as a conduit for how it does to the audience...
Imagine Finn tackling with eliminating his fellow Stormtroopers, perhaps first having rage at what the First Order Child Program did to him, then later compassion in remembering that one stormtrooper from the opening whom he held as he was expiring, maybe even have a scene where Finn stops Resistance soldiers from eliminating Stormtroopers and instead orchestrating a mission that ensures the least possible destruction of either Resistance or First Order soldiers, a focus on his newfound code of preserving life, perhaps causing him to but heads with a high ranking Resistance Officer who harbors a deep hatred of the First Order...so many roads.
As one who was bullied for enjoying the Prequels, I can't see myself doing the same for Sequel fans and feel for them in a way. Hopefully the Kenobi series does well, though that one fan film was awesome. (I don't understand the dislike for helicopter sabers...yes it's corny but has anyone read the Tales of the Jedi series? Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma's bro handshake anyone ?)I think adding the label of "legends" to everything was their idea of compromise and also probably so they didn't have to fully give up all that money the previous games and books was making them. I kinda wonder what would have happened if they hadn't changed directors twice in the sequel trilogy. There were times it felt like they were playing a game of telephone very poorly and it really didn't help Rey and Fin's character development situation

She did have a couple of bops I do think are still pretty good Was it a musical? Sort of? It was a show about a girl who was a musician so she sang a lot but there weren't really any big musical numbers

Some practical prevention like non-slip shoes might also be helpful *Looks down at my banana peal shoes* What do you mean? You have some really cool shoes but maybe consider wrapping them in shelf liners?

That whole thing was absolutely insane All that trouble with that one and then you were able to immediately turn around and get the other brick with zero effort You were working on that for nearly as long as I was doing the speeder race, then I crept over there and did it in one shot. To be fair, I think the scavenger character made it far easier It was a stunning upset Guess sometimes changing character classes can really make a difference

Pretty much, though there are a few reptiles in there too. WELCOME to BRICKBOOK! Sounds like the diet of an average feral cat That would make for an interesting Redwall book. WELCOME to BRICKBOOK!

At least some fan projects are refining Disney canon. Plus, the new canon character Ren is pretty cool. (Pictured Below.)

That's a fair point. Then Gen Z grew up and made it more socially acceptable. Part of me wants to see a remake of 1-6 with competent directing and broodier cinematography I've never actually seen Transformers. Are the movies worth my watching? It seems I can stream them. Well, I know a fan project reimagined the battle between Obi-Wan and Vader from a New Hope. Also, a new fan project about Vader hunting down a blind jedi master is coming out soon. Those might be worth checking out for a refined take on the older films. (Of course, Rogue One certainly has TheBatman-esque cinematography... )
The films depend on if you enjoy the director's type of work. Personally, no...but at least we got Transformers Prime and some cool ideas out of it. With Bumblebee (2018), it has a Sonic film type of vibe...albeit PG-13 and is worth checking out if that is your cup of tea.
And if you may be wondering, Nemesis Prime is basically an evil version of Optimus Prime with a red/black color scheme.

It's a weirdly geographical song, names a lot of specific ports of call. Wait, is fried lobster a thing? I'll make sure to double up on sunscreen Huh sounds nice. Yes. That is a good idea. That's what makes it stand out in a crowd I forgot for a moment that you can deep fry anything I also have a long sleeved rash guard that'll be helpful
