Well, I've also heard Something Posing as Meat, and apparently some people have called it Specially Processed Army Meat(Which isn't as fun )
I think the actual meaning is unknown.
I think it's the same/similar to a devon sausage or what you might call bologna sausage. If not, they're all part of the same processed family. Haha. Those are funny. I don't really thing it' an acronym, but there are so many funny ones. Maybe er should just call it the pork version of bully (corned) beef.
