I recently rewatched all 7 movies, and I didn't remember Han being as awesome as he is. In hindsight, he's probably my favorite of the original 3 (Luke, Leia, Han).
That's neat! Which movie is your favorite.
Ooooh, I like all of them in different ways, but EPV is likely my ultimate favorite. What about you?
No idea why I didn't join this on the LMBs, Han Solo IS my favorite SW character ever:D! So sad he died, although I kind of expected it as I knew he didn't really want to be in SW anymore:P:(.
!!! Spoilers!
I don't think we do spoilers warnings for TFA anymore, it's over a year old and everybody who wanted to see it has seen it:P.

Although Luke is still my personal favorite (even tho he whines a lot in episode IV, lol), Han is definitely a close second. Three cheers for Solo! Brick-brick, horray! Brick-brick, horray! Brick-brick, horray!
{Rogue One Spoliers!!} Bail Organa said, "I'd trust her with my life." When Mon Mothma told him to send someone to contact Obi-Wan Kenobi. Princess Leia was being chased shortly afterwards, forcing her to put the message and plans in R2D2. The Rebel Alliance wouldn't know this until later, so don't you think they would have at least sent someone else to contact Master Kenobi? Chewbacca, Han Solo's best friend, may have been that Rebel spy (if he was one, after all, he witnessed Order 66 in person). All I'm saying is, this could possibly explain why the best pilot with the fastest ship in the galaxy just so happened to be not only on the right planet, but the right city to pick up Obi-Wan and Luke.
How many of you think that Han Solo is Force sensitive? He has made some pretty daring escapes that only Jedi/Sith have ever been seen doing. Not to mention his blind shot in episode six...
I doubt that Han is Force-sensitive in the current Canon, but I like the idea that the Force is protecting certain people in the Galaxy.
Like, Stormtroopers are pretty lethal in Rogue One. They hit more than they miss. But in the Original Trilogy, they always miss the heroes, and one answer is that the Force is protecting them because their efforts are critical to maintaining balance, which (it seems) is what the Force is all about.
It's just a notion, but I like that it adds a deeper layer to everything.

Like in Rogue One, I don't think Chirrut or Baze were force sensitive, but they both walk through a sea of lasers without being hurt.

I don't think that is the force, I think it's just Hollywood:P. Almost all movies are like that.

Chirrut was obviously protected by the force. As for Baze, I think him running to Chirrut was just Hollywood:P.

Exactly! It's almost as if it protects its believers, or people who are important. It's interesting.
