What’s there to keep up with? Previous statements you’ve made firmly establish a belief that you still hold governing authority over this RP. So I am well placed in my concerns.
As soon as Vortaxx is portaled away another portal appears, Vortaxx shooting out of it. He opens two portals, each right in front of each other and telekinetically throws Obedient Matoran through the first one, the force of the telekinesis sending him flying out of the second one, and right back through the first, an endless loop of back and forth and in and out. Vortaxx sighs, “Now can I have my question answered?”
Obedient Matoran refuses to lose, launching himself out of the portal loop. “The person in charge is Eric, he’s not here right now.” He then opens aportal behind Vortaxx again, and sends him through with a concussive blast. “Now BEGONE!”
Vortaxx once again appears through another portal, “Fine. I’ll go pursue another facet of my agenda. But I’ll be back and when I do, we won’t be playing games, as fun as they may be.” He leaves the way he came.

Any out of character sentiments I may have about the structure, rules, and governing of the RP do not have any bearing on the actual in-character plot. That's a pretty huge leap of logic you just made right there.
You are being paranoid. Me mentioning plans for a character or stating that I perceive something about my character's role is not the same thing as saying I want to control the plot. It literally just means he's going to do stuff at some point.
if you really need to know what Emarcee's "role" how about you actually investigate the character before making wild accusations.

The Dethalx looks around, taking in its new surroundings and the two beings in front of it. It looks very confused, even for a being with no face. It takes a defensive stance, unsure of what to do.

Nulled. That’s not how lightning works. You can’t just form a lightning bolt inside someone.

"Toa of Lightning have the Elemental Power of Lightning, allowing them to create, control, and absorb lightning. Their only real limitation is that when they run out of Elemental Lightning Energy, they must wait for it to recharge."
Nowhere does it say a Toa or similar being CANNOT create lightning from a distance. It makes sense that if a Toa of lightning can command lightning to strike from the sky, then, they can make lightning strike from inside something.
I've also explicitly mentioned Emarcee has x-ray vision, and, failing that, has knowledge of the anatomy of most MU beings.
How about cutting Emarcee some slack? He isn't some weakling to be pushed around.
