Several vo-Skakdi in the fortress team up to ward off the thunder strikes, and possibly redirect them against the aggressors.
Ornirax creates a few more, and continue to clean his armor. His joints are slowly loosening, and he will be able to stand soon.
The Skakdi attacking the fortress are routed. Meanwhile, there is massive confusion within the fortress seeing as how it is being attacked. The Skakdi within do their best to remain calm, and try to take cover near the Vo-Skakdi for the time being.

Ornirax stands with a sigh and stretches his joints once more to make sure they are working. They are, and he smiles. "I am going to toss that Toa's Kanohi into the fires of Ta-Metru if I ever see him again. Now, I need to get to work."

Kratark appears behind Ornirax
"I don't think I said I was done with you, Ornirax. You are under arrest."
Kratark grabs Ornirax by the shoulder, and raises his other hand, aiming his fistblade at Ornirax.
"Accompany me, and you will be given a fair trial. Fight me, and I will crush you, utterly."

A female skakdi sits within her throne of bone, tapping her fingers against the armrests of her throne. Her scarlet armor gleamed in the light of dusk, her long, lithe legs crossed. Her crown also shimmered, the gemstones in it swirling with a dark energy inside.
Corathe broods. She left the island for a few months, and by the time she's come back another Skakdi has managed to usurp her kingdom, only to fall to another Skakdi! Was Airek so incompetent? She snarled, accidentally crushing the armrest in her grip. "Time for an execution." She sneered. It was long and tedious, but she had reclaimed her region of the land. Her Skakdi were loyal.
"Airek!" She screamed, marching up to the dark green and royal blue Skakdi, who had a pair of horns jutting out of his temples. Corathe grabbed one of the horns, crushing it in her grasp. "YOU INSOLENT GNAT!" She roared, lifting him by the stump, and throwing him across the courtyard. "You not only lost MY kingdom, but you watched as the usurper LOST MY KINGDOM YET AGAIN? Do you realize the amount of karzahni I've gone through?!" She roars, her eyes firing beams of heat, melting Airek's leg armor. "As of now, my Skakdi, there are new orders! We will either ally with this other Skakdi, or he will burn beneath my heel!" She screams to the skies, her legions of Skakdi roaring their approval. "I have ridden a hurricane, fought against the storm, and braved the Ice Witch, the Fire Hag and even the DARK ONES! Irnakk himself would be terrified of me! There is no longer a king." To make her point, the legions watched as she quickly smashed Airek, simply using her foot to end it. "The King is dead... Long live the Queen!" She opens her mouth, as a vapor travels out of Airek, feeding into Corathe's mouth. Corathe licks her lips, as the vapor is all within her, dissolving into her body.
"LONG LIVE THE QUEEN! CORATHE! CORATHE! CORATHE!" The legions shout back ferociously. Corathe smiled viciously, walking back to her throne, which was already repaired. She roared. "SUMMON MY WARBEAST! SUMMON FLUFFLES!"
OOC: Fun fact, canonically, female Skakdi were more vicious and destructive. Chances are, they were inherently more powerful, as that's how it often goes in the animal kingdom. If the female's are more vicious, they are stronger too. So, I had Corathe smash Airek. Fluffles, plz dun smash fluffles Also, Corathe is unaware of who Vazrudakkan is, precisely. All she knows is that Airek lost the throne to some usurper, who likely went to Ornirax's summons, and was promptly usurped by Vazrudakkan. Corathe's legion of Skakdi are actually loyal to her, jsyk. Corathe doesn't believe in using fear as a motivator.

Are these the Skakdi who attacked the fortress earlier?
Concerning the female Skakdi: that is a fun fact. I think that my sister might be a female Skakdi.

OOC: No, these Skakdi would have been relatively distant from the others. They would not do much without Corathe's orders. If she were to ever die, then they would descend into immediate anarchy, as she has yet to name a heir apparent. Basically, these skakdi are solitary from the others, unless prompted. They would never initiate an attack, without Corathe ordering them to. Not even Airek had such authority, and Airek was the reason Corathe came into power.
XDDDD There are quite a few female Skakdi in this tribe, care to make one? Or have your sister be one? You'd be my 2iC I mean, there is still a majority of males.. That makes me wonder of the ratio in other tribes.
IC: Corathe smiles, seeing her war rahi ride up. She looked around, seeing Cuddles mourning Airek. "Hmm. Poor Cuddles.."

Vazrudakann's spies return to him, and, delivering information of Corathe's return, the one true warlord snarls angrily.
"Excellent! You have provided us with the one thing we have lost in building this fortress."
"And what is that, my lord?"
"Why, fresh blood to spill! Of course! Rally the troops. With that fool Makuta gone -- we can finally go on the offensive against these pathetic brakas monkeys. I shall show this 'Corathe' the true meaning of pain..."
Within seconds of him making a public appearance, Vazrudakann's forces are rallied, and they prepare their completely canonical army of non-fanon Skakdi and then... Vazrudakann leaves them all behind, going ahead of his army. This of course, inspires everyone else to follow him

OOC: I just said, that Corathe's Skakdi were loyal. There are no spies in Corathe's court. Now, if they were just watching, that's fine Just telling you, so don't get any ideas
IC: Corathe, unaware of what Vazrudakann plans, sits in her throne, before a portal opens up. "Mhrakh." She murmurs.
"Lady Corathe." He mocks, bowing sarcastically.
"Why are you here?"
"I just thought you'd like to know our plans are on hold." He hisses sharply, as Corathe's eyes narrow. "EVERYBODY OUT!!" She screams, animating the ground to push everyone out, bar Mhrakh.
"Why are they on hold?"
"Attacks on the northern continent. My comrade to the south's meeting with his benefactors has been postponded. Likely chance of them being warlords. We don't need to draw attention to ourselves."
"Very well." She concedes. "Did you speak with our benefactor, and get the special beasts?"
"Yes. They are ready to be deployed at your command, Corathe. I also took the liberties of getting some, more.. Special, arrangements set up, just in case. Our lovely friend in the west has decided to fund you."
"Very excellent. Knowing the other Skakdi Warlords, I bet I will be in a war soon enough." She pauses, thinking.
"Mhrakh, set up Protocol: Alpha."
"It shall be done, Corathe."
The proper illusions are cast. Mhrakh disappears, biding Corathe farewell. Corathe smiles at the box she received, which began to rattle violently. "Oh yes, this will do nicely."

Vazrudakann kicks down the door to Corathe's throne room.
"My spies tell me you've rallied your armies, making reference to some 'usurper' of your kingdom. Let me make one thing clear, witch: I am willing to stay amicable with your little herd of mindless beasts -- but if you so much as threaten the unity of my empire: we will end you. Is that perfectly clear?
He symbolically plants his war staff into the ground to reaffirm his position on the matter.
