OOC: You overestimate Svin's prowess, and underestimate "Marionette"'s prowess. By the time she both read his mind and managed to move out of range, at least a half of her body would be crumpled, I'm being nice and saying only a single limb.
IC: While clearly pained, he cackles, taking a vicious pleasure in the agony, his eyes glowing bright red. He instantly reverts the damage done to his matoran, building and puppets. Anything not the size of a building, or a matoran is unverted. It still leaves quite a few parts of his house crumpled, but still.
OOC: Indeed, an omnidirectional works best. I still don't think Svin could dodge it. Also, your character is taking zero damage, while mine is apparently being flooded with it.
OOC: Over and under estimation goes both ways in this style of RP. I am fine with Svin suffering the loss of her legs. I will ask you to consider this; Marionette has his senses informing him of a false reality (thus he must deny all of his senses and act on what he himself believes. This is no small feat, but it is possible), he is suffering the pain of a Vohtorak Spinner (in canon, it literally makes it impossible for the target to focus on anything else but their suffering), and now he's putting his attention on carefully reconstructing delicate machines and people.
IC: Marionette's pain intensifies, almost double what it was before, on top of it he feels the pain of Svin's injury. The Toa of Psionics is not only pouring the simulated pain of a Vohtorak Spinner into her opponent, but she is also letting her suffering flow through her mind to fill Marionette's. This agony is far too much for any being to handle, even having great potential to steal the concentration of a Makuta.
"Can you still hear me?"
She uses mind control to prevent any rebellious outbursts.
OOC: I've used illusion for the first half of the battle, then I used simple telekinesis to avoid an unguided wave. Marionette is mentally unshielded, so of course his mind is going to be effected. Psychic types are the overall best.
OOC: Legs works too. "Marionette" is a sadist, he takes pleasure from pain. Pain to him is something enjoyable, beautiful. Also, I never said carefully. He's just roughly doing it, so they survive and function, however barely they may be.
IC: "Marionette" nods, his eyes darting frantically.
OOC: Meh I do think Psionics are quite nice. Svin has raw power, she would do well to learn from a more potent or experienced psychic, such as Mnemosyne (Yes I am shamelessly attempting to advertise the Regime)

OOC: Then perhaps the awesomeness of pain is distracting him?
IC: Marionette's suffering decreases enough for him to focus on conversation, yet Svin is prepared to double it should an aggressive thought arise.

"Have we both made our points?"
OOC: I can work with that
IC: His "suffering" has him giggling madly, as he continues to fix everything up. He doesn't exactly answer, but dips his head once.

"I haven't met too many people who were as fascinated with pain as me. Still, I don't think your follows share your preference. Mind if is soothe them while you work on their stuctures?"

He shrugs. "The Scarlet God cares little." He has zero scarlet or red armor. The only thing red about him is his, now, blazing crimson eyes.

OOC: The other toa have returned. I assume the Nynrah went to explore naval technologies while the toa went to collect relics?
IC: "Let me know when Vohtorak gets dull."
The toa of Psionics eases the pain of all but Marionette.
"Honestly, I got a little carried away. I was supposed to-"
Five judges cap the road atop the nearest hill. Their expressions are those of shock, terror and disappointment.
Svin hears their thoughts and tenses up, causing a few of the injured matoran to scream.
Ahir raises a hand to the trace the brows of his Hau, dropping his palm to cover his mouth. You don't have to be a psychic to read his mind.
The one in green and blue offers a horrified angry face to his captain's eyes. He somehow manages to cleanse his fear and begin work healing the matoran and spectators.
Finally, the captain let's the flood of words loose after taking his hand away from his kanohi. "I said negotiate, Svin! Not take out a block! Why would you even think this is a good idea?"
Svin starts to interject.
"No." Ahir rolls his head and lifts a hand towards her. It's open palm is a sign that she needs to stay quiet. "Look, you've already done it. There's no going back."
She nods as if she had known it for centuries and her captain was only just figuring it out. In truth, she just wants it to be over.
"Stop, just cut it. Okay?" He continues. "You're no longer allowed to go solo. I'm appointing Ihice as your watcher."
The toa in silver and white tunes in, then accepts his new responsibility. Anything Svin does, he answers to. From now on his sister is going to be under an unblinking eye and strict rules.
"Right." Ahir turns to address the owner of the establishment. "I'm terribly sorry, and I respect your choices if you don't want to talk, but I'm here to find relics for Makuta Anakritis. You don't know where any might be, do you?"
The gunmetal toa admires Marionette's craftsmanship and decides to help.

A lone servant of Makuta hides in the darker alleys and questions passing slaves what they know about Relics. He pays rare scraps of food for valuable information.

OOC: YJF.
An iron-clad revenant looks at the servant. His voice echoes. "Relics, eh? Go see Lady Nightstar fer relics!" He says, before lumbering off, into the night.

After inquiring other slaves on where Nightstar's residence lies, he makes his way there.
Before approaching, the servant's armor melts in the rays of dawn to expose an entirely different look. His Mahiki now takes the face of a Pakari.
