In the case of the Skakdi race, they were adversely altered by the Makuta, taking away any discipline they may or may not have had.
Chances are, Corathe again, had the discipline still. You don't decide that.
Allow me to state clearly to you, the timeline of the Skakdi's history.
1. The Skakdi race is created by Mata Nui. They are a relatively peaceful race, of which, Corathe is a member.
2. A rogue Makuta tampers with the Skakdi race. Giving them the powers they now possess, but also making them all insane. They are also rendered unable to use Kanohi (assuming they ever could in the first place).
It is that simple.
Whatever happens in the future is to develop organically. But as it stands, Corathe cannot of always had this power -- she will have to gain it.
Name: Rahorus Alias: King Gun Species: Toa Element: Stone Powers: Rahorus has no additional powers Kanohi: Showa, Mask of Shockwaves (allows user to produce shockwaves wherever), Jutlin, Explosia, Mask of Explosions (allows user to produce explosions with ease. The Explosia is limited by sight, and is almost always on a low level) Weapons/Tools: Rahorus has a pair of gatling guns, attached to his wrists. He also has a visor/scope on his mask, allowing him to see through things, like an Akaku, and in the night. He also wields a mini-gun, grafted within his head. Rahorus also wields a giant buzz-saw, for when he needs to get up, close and personal. Said buzz-saw has a few smaller buzz-saws attached to it's sides, which rotate independently of the main one. Appearance: Rahorus is stocky. He's got a heavy build, with dark brown being his primary color. He has trims of silverish gold, somehow both, in his armor. His left eye is covered by a scope, which has various lens, as well as a mini-gun. Personality: Rahorus is sad. Really sad. But sadistic. But he also isn't. He wishes he wasn't so twisted, but he also revels in it. He desires to be an enforcer of justice, yet he also enjoys being the villain. Sad. Backstory: Rahorus was one a member of a trio of warriors. They were captured by Makuta and twisted and distorted, enhanced. Then Dark Hunters captured them, and were further twisted. That's how he got his mini-gun eye, through Dark Hunters.
Just to give you some assurance that I am not out to get you -- I like this profile, and I found it to be thankfully beyond reproach.

I'm not stupid.
1. Corathe was always power-hungry.
2. Not necessarily insane, that's not true. Just bellicose. Not insane. Also, there's no proof they are incapable of using Kanohi.
I'm not arguing with you on this, Mrqcm, you are in the wrong. And it's that simple. As it stands, however, it is quite irrelevant.
Kanohi: Olmak, Great Mask of Dimensional Gates. It allows him to open portals to anywhere he wishes.
Weapons/tools: Protosteel staff bearing the symbol of the Brotherhood of Makuta at one end, and a narrow, rounded blade at the other.
Appearance: Black Protosteel armour adorned with silver markings. Vindurax often wears a black cloak. His Kanohi is silver and black.
Personality: Vindurax enjoys testing Matoran with fractions of his powers, watching them try to defeat a shard of his ability, He is calm and collected, exceedingly hard to anger. If any being succeeded in enraging him, their survival would be a matter of seconds.
Backstory: Vindurax was created by Mata Nui to create Rahi. He soon turned into not only a creator, but a judge. While he favours the more powerful and skilled of his creations, he considered them all to be his, and regards it as his duty to avenge the loss of any Rahi and Kraata he created. After the Makuta halted the rebellion against Mata Nui, he was assigned to The Southern Chains.

"All Skakdi (excluding Vezon) possess an organic spine that runs from the back of the head, down the arms, and down the back. They also have sharp claws and large teeth which seem to make a sinister smile or scowl. All Skakdi also have Elemental Powers, but can only be accessed by combining them with that of another Skakdi. Their vision powers include abilities such as Laser Vision, Heat Vision, and impact vision. A large number of Skakdi have other abilities as well. Most of them are either physically damaged, mentally deranged, or in some other way warped by Spiriah's experiment. Skakdi are very bellicose, and love to join any fight.
Skakdi also have the ability to physically wear Kanohi, though they lack the mental discipline required to actually use a Mask of Power." --Direct quote from BioSector.
Notice I am being liberal as it is allowing your Skakdi to go through a second round of alterations. As it stands right now in her PRESENT state, Corathe cannot use Kanohi. Period. Accept the compromise.

YJF and Emarcee will be right back, after this short break...
Vohntahli
Vo-skakdi
Liquefaction vision
Carries an EMP cannon
Third power - Nullification. In a manner with similar roots to a mask of emulation, she can analyze a power and, once done, nullify it at will. This only works with one power at once, under the same rules as a mask of emulation.
Blue and dark blue armor.
Thodak
Su-skakdi
Wields a torch-flamethrower-club . Like a stick with a lightsaber on the end. His vision blasts richochet and create a solid metal beam behind them after first impact, webbing the area up with metal bars. Richochet angles and flightpath can be controlled to make a rough orbit around something and cage it in. They continue to bounce as long as Thodak wills them to.
Third power of Telekinesis - Can be as precise or broad as he likes, maximum strength is 10 tons of force.
Has orange and red armor rather than normal Su coloring.
2. Not necessarily insane, that's not true. Just bellicose. Not insane. Also, there's no proof they are incapable of using Kanohi.

Vezok, one of the most likely to ever use a kanohi, couldn't use kanohi. It takes a "mental discipline" that all skakdi fail to possess. In the same way, someone would have to intervene in Corathe's life and teach how how to use a mask. IRL, you can learn something by practicing it. In bionicle -where most of the MU inhabitants are computer based life- someone needs to upload or transmit that skill code to the recipient. This can be done with viruses, telepathy, or verbal instruction. Skakdi have the space for "mental discipline," they just need someone to supply it.
Of course, I have no say in the matter, do I? this is my second post in this RP, and I don't even have an RPC yet.

Hahahahahahhahahah
You're funny! You have no right to even deny a second round of alterations. You cannot deny them. You don't have to like it, silly Mrqcm. I will accept the compromise, if only to set this petty feud aside. Have a wondrous day.
