Hello from The Brick Boards Staff Team! TBB was created by members of the LEGO® Message Boards to keep the LMBs alive for as long as possible, and we’re glad you want to be a part of this awesome community!



Part of what made the LMBs unique was the commitment upheld by moderators to ensure that the site was an 100% safe and clean environment. As our goal right now is to continue the LMBs, we are fully dedicated to keeping these boards 100% safe and clean. As such, our moderation team will be moderating every post before it can go onto the boards, and users will be expected to follow some rules. Not every rule can be covered here, but we’ve tried to cover the most basic and common ones.

External links will not be allowed except links to official LEGO® sites, the official The Brick Boards gallery, and whitelisted sites. The Brick Board’s full whitelist can be found here.


Movies, TV, and Videogames

While we realise users want more freedom in this regard, TBB needs to be kept age-appropriate. As such, films/movies should not exceed a rating of 12A; video games should not exceed a rating of PEGI 12; and TV shows should not exceed a rating of 12A, unless they are made by LEGO® or LEGO® has endorsed them by basing sets or other media on them. If this is the case, then as a rule they will be accepted, but may be rejected if the staff believe that the discussion is inappropriate or will lead to inappropriate discussion. This will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.


Image Guidelines

Users should try and keep images to a minimum; they can get spammy. Additionally, users should try to post only images of Lego bricks, images taken from Lego.com, and images from franchises that Lego has endorsed by basing sets or other media on. Other images will be allowed if they are on-topic, but we request that you keep these images to a minimum. All images should be appropriate in the same way as a post, and should either be of a small size or in jammers. Animated imagery should not be used on TBB due to storage limits, and the difficulty and distraction it presents to Moderators.


Roleplays are allowed one map for each area of their world.


Avatar/Signature/Username Guidelines

We have some default avatars that users are allowed to choose from. If you wish to upload a different avatar, please send it in a private message to all staff. These avatars must follow the image guidelines above.

If you wish to change your signature, please send it in a private message to all staff. Signatures must follow the image guidelines above. 

Avatars, signatures and usernames with content that would be rejected in a post will not be approved.


Be Respectful

These boards are designed as a continuation of the previous LMBs, and therefore are geared toward all ages. Please keep all content posted here appropriate for any age group.

Show respect for all community members, their beliefs, opinions, and backgrounds.

If a disagreement or other conflict does occur, stay calm and try to address it peacefully.

If you need any assistance please report the issue to a staff member who will be happy to help.

To report a specific user, click on the user's name to be taken to their profile page, then click "Report" at the top. This will allow you to send a report to staff.


Play Fair

Use your unique imagination and only submit your own original content.

Follow all community and roleplay guidelines.

No undesirable behavior, such as cheating, hacking, unfair play in roleplays, spamming and bullying. Bullying will not be tolerated on The Brick Boards, and will result in a ban.


Stay On Topic

Comments should be on topic to the individual discussion to which they are contributing and/or on topic to the ongoing conversation.

Please do not derail conversations with off topic chat.


Do Not Spam

Remember quality, not quantity. All posts should be original, constructive content.


Stay Safe

This is a safe, child friendly site. This means that the sharing of personal information and of links to most external sites are not allowed. Please do not submit any personally identifiable information such as phone number, email address, full name, IDs on other websites, school name, home address, etc. Attempting to reveal yours or another user's personal information will not be tolerated, and will result in disciplinary action.

We ask that users please hide any personally identifying information on their profiles, especially email addresses.

Private Messages are disabled on this site except as a means of reporting issues to staff.


Be Yourself

Be who you want to be, but please do not attempt to impersonate any other user, person, moderator, celebrity, etc.
