I have now finished Phase 2! (plus GotG Vol. 2) So now, here are my mini-reviews!
Iron Man 3 - A fun ride with some interesting developments and twists, but..... no AC/DC.
Thor: The Dark World - Better than people make it out to be for sure. I mean, it definitely wasn't the best, but by no means was it the worst. It was very fun and unexpected, and got a couple audible gasps and even a "WHAT!?!?" from me.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - Brickin' amazing, I loved how real and grounded it was, definitely the least outlandishly fictional movie in the MCU. Once again, I liked the twists, although I already knew about the biggest one, and one scene in particular was genuinely creepy. (You'll probably know what scene I mean if you've seen it.)
Guardians of the Galaxy: Hilarious and action-packed, though a bit slow and confusing at the beginning. I loved all the heroes, though Gamora was probably the least interesting and definitely the least funny. Star-Lord and Drax made me laugh out loud multiple times, while Rocket was really awesome and Groot was downright adorable.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Has all the things that made the first Guardians great, although they're even better this time in my opinion. Drax was even funnier this time (like, insanely hilarious) and so was Rocket. Groot was even more adorable (because obvious reasons) and Yondu was great as well.
Avengers: Age of Ultron - Some cool new characters and the old ones are still great. Awesome action scenes and some fun quieter scenes too. In fact, I think the scenes where the Avengers are just hanging around somewhere and talking just might be more enjoyable than the action. Vision in particular is really great, but so are the other newcomers Ultron, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver. I didn't expect...... er, well, I guess it's a minor spoiler, kind of, so I'll be vague - I didn't expect the context of the scene with Andy Serkis. Specifically its location.
(continued in next post)
People say The Winter Soldier is the best MCU film, or one of the best...
Ant-Man - Wow. This one was unexpectedly fun and awesome despite its cheesiness. I mean, a guy that can control an army of ants, it's so brickin' cool yet really weird too. For sure one of the most unique powers I've seen in a superhero. The shrinking is fun too, of course, and I love the visuals when he gets small.
And now, onwards to Civil War and beyond!!!!! (I'm so excited!)
I agree. Ant-man was excellent. Luis is my favourite character from that movie.
{Spoilers for anyone who considers the context of a Stan Lee cameo a spoiler } Yeah, he was great. I just love the style of his stories, with all the people in the flashbacks mouthing what he says, including Stan Lee. "Yeah, crazy stupid fine."

I'm not a big fan of the Winter Soldier though. I didn't see it in theatres anyway but saw it on Blu-ray, maybe that's why...
Also the Brock Rumlow guys is crossbones, he appears in Civil War...
I watched it on DVD and didn't have a problem. It was awesome! Quite different from a lot of the other ones, though, so maybe that's why it didn't work for you. It was much more realistic instead of fantastical.

How is that a spoiler?
It's only a spoiler for someone that really cares about the Stan Lee cameos and doesn't want to see them coming, hence the wording of the spoiler tag.
Civil War was super awesome, and I'm glad it was mostly about Cap and in many ways a sequel to Winter Soldier rather than just being "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" the entire time. Although when they did fight, it was pretty awesome.
Doctor Strange was obviously very weird, I mean strange, since I'm pretty much required to make that pun, but the finale was really clever and the visual effects were (literally) out-of-this-world.
Spider-Man: Homecoming was very fun and funny, as I expected, but I honestly wasn't anticipating the action nearly as much as the humor and the character of Spider-Man/Peter Parker himself, who they handled really well. Both of his identities were equally interesting. But the action did end up being really cool, as was his suit and all its abilities.
I am eeeeeeeeeeeeeeagerly anticipating Thor: Ragnarok (which I'll be watching tonight), and of course Infinity War. (Black Panther is interesting, sure, but I'm not quite as out-of-my-mind hyped for that one. It's just kind of in the way of IW. Not that I don't want to get to know T'Challa better.)

Agreed. The Winter Soldier is definitely more realistic except the technology used in Nick Fury's vehicle is quite advanced. I'm guessing you have the DVD's of all the films? The blu-ray is much better though...

Yeah, his car is pretty awesome. I would say something more specific, but I have to stick to my own rules concerning spoilers.
No, I've just been borrowing them all from the library mostly, only I got a couple from my friend and one so far from Redbox (which is also where we'll be getting Black Panther).

Thor: Ragnarok was brickin' AWESOME! Like... "YEEEEEEEEEEEESSS!!!!!" (Thor) levels of awesome. Extremely funny, extremely entertaining, some edge-of-your-seat action, and some pretty good twists. Jeff Goldblum was 100 times more than perfect for his role, and Korg was just great. Definitely one of the best movies in the series. I honestly think the Thor trilogy as a whole might be my favorite.

You can get DVD's from the Library over there? That sounds awesome!
