Well, I've decided to finally start watching the MCU movies, beginning with Iron Man. It was a certainly a decent movie, with a fairly well told story, but I'm honestly most interested to see how things go from here...even though most of it has been spoiled for me because this series has been around for so long and has gotten so much attention over the years.
Fortunately for me, I still have plenty of time until Avengers Endgame releases, and I really hope I can watch it without getting spoiled.
Yay, we get to watch someone else do this now! I watched them all in chronological order, which is slightly different from release order. I haven't yet seen Captain Marvel, but I assume it may tease Endgame/spoil IW so I would watch it and Ant-Man and the Wasp in release order.
If you want to CONtinue using the release order, that is perfectly alright, but just in case you change your mind here's a chronological list (excluding the two I mentioned earlier that should go between IW and Endgame):
-Captain America: The First Avenger -Iron Man -The Incredible Hulk/Iron Man 2 (order not really relevant here) -Thor -The Avengers -Iron Man 3 -Thor: The Dark World -Captain America: The Winter Soldier -Guardians of the Galaxy -Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 -Avengers: Age of Ultron -Ant-Man -Captain America: Civil War -Doctor Strange (can really go anywhere after Age of Ultron) -Black Panther -Spider-Man: Homecoming -Thor: Ragnarok -Avengers: Infinity War -Avengers: Endgame
At this point, I've already watched Captain America: The First Avenger, and I'm about to watch The Avengers. Honestly, I can't really bother to review every single movie since you've already done that, but I can still share my thoughts on each phase, and we can discuss other interesting things along the way.

Cool, I can't wait to hear what you think about Phase 1!

I just finished it.
I'm honestly really enjoying what I'm seeing so far. Each film has plenty to like about them, but the way they're all connected with each other and how it all builds up to The Avengers is a great way to keep me hooked. I'm expecting a lot from the rest of the series now.

It is honestly such a phenomenal achievement, and it only gets better from here. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Well, I've finally made it to Ant Man and the Wasp, and all I can say is...I enjoyed Infinity War way more than I should have, given that I knew everything that would happen it.
Oh, and also that this series has been a really fun ride for me. TheFlash213 was right about the later movies being where the franchise achieves so much more with the story and characters, which I feel started with Captain America: The Winter Soldier. That movie was so interesting and engaging for me that it might warrant me making a spoiler review of it. In fact, I think I should make a spoiler discussion for the MCU in general.

What a journey.
Nice to see new fans like you finally finish the entire MCU before Endgame.
I also had a marathon on the MCU before Infinity War and will be doing so again before Endgame. Although I slowed down somewhere in the middle (where the movies were starting to become a bit "eh"), it was nice for me to see just how much the MCU has accomplished already at that point. It was also nice to see several different genres of some entries in the MCU and for them to come together in Infinity War was purely amazing.
Oh man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier was phenomenal. I used to rate Civil War higher than The Winter Soldier but after my marathon last Christmas on Cap's journey throughout the MCU, the prize goes back to The Winter Soldier. I remember not really liking it upon my first viewing. It could've been because I was 10 back then, or because I was expecting a comedy like Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 (I know ), or maybe it could've also been because I saw it at a late night screening (at 9:30PM) in the theater. After several rewatches, oh man, I began to realize how outstanding the direction in this one was. Infinity War is still the best for me but The Winter Soldier comes second imo.

Think there is still Captain Marvel. Also, there are tons of easter eggs in the films too...

I enjoyed Captain Marvel a lot, it's about average for an MCU movie but in this franchise average is really brickin' great. Nick Fury and Goose the cat were the best characters in my opinion. The introduction of Carol Danvers, whose last-second addition to the MCU initially confused me, ended up satisfying me and making me excited to see her return.

Avengers: Endgame can't really be reviewed without spoilers. Let's just say it's very good.
#DontSpoilTheEndgame
(I'm thinking about making a spoiler-y discussion topic for Endgame, but I think that should wait a couple of weeks until everyone including the mods has had a chance to see it if they want to.)

Con and I got to see Endgame, so at least two of us on the Staff team are ready. The other staff will hopefully be watching it soon whenever they have time (and whenever they can get tickets).

Do you think it's been long enough that I could get away with making a spoiler-filled Endgame chatroom?

I will ask the staff team and let you know as soon as possible. We already have some discussion of Endgame already on the LMBE in other chatrooms, so I believe we are mostly ready, but I will check if the staff team is up for a chatroom of it.

Z-Whales, I think it is safe to say that you can make a spoiler-filled Avengers Endgame chatroom. As of now, most of the active mods have seen Endgame and are ready to moderate posts containing spoilers. Thanks for asking!

Seen Endgame 4 times already and will be having my fifth round probably tomorrow. Epic and mind-blowing but bittersweet ending to a spectacular saga. However, I prefer Infinity War more because I felt that the stakes were higher there, despite Endgame having everything that could've made it better than Infinity War.

I think that Infinity War flowed better as a film because it was much faster-paced and didn't have to worry about concluding the story. Endgame took its time (which I think it really benefited from overall) but because of that it wasn't as neatly packaged as Infinity War and ended up with some minor pacing issues that IW didn't suffer from.
