The Incredible Hulk was really cool! I liked Bruce Banner, Edward Norton did a fantastic job and I'm kinda sad he didn't continue to play the character. But hey, I'm sure Ruffalo will be great too.
I liked that they didn't spend a lot of time on the origin story and started off with him already being the Hulk. I also liked how it really felt like a serious threat every time his heart rate started to go up. Even before you've seen him as Hulk, you know what will happen if he gets too much adrenaline pumping, and he feels dangerous even though you're rooting for him. That's part of what made this film so interesting, for most of the movie the biggest threat was the hero himself! I really liked that they didn't go overboard with a bunch of CGI Hulk monster action for the entire movie, it was grounded and realistic and when he did go into Hulk-mode it was exciting.
Unfortunately, I feel like they maybe could have done a little better with the action, but I guess it's hard to make the stakes feel high when the hero is a giant rage monster himself. It did get a lot better in the finale, but I won't go into detail because spoilers.
Overall, it's probably my least favorite MCU film so far, but that's just saying it's the least good. It was still a highly enjoyable film with plenty for everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Banner later on, even if he is played by a different actor.
Iron Man 2 was a fun ride for sure! Definitely not as good as the first one, but on the plus side I did prefer the villain this time around. While you don't know a whole lot about him, you still understand his motivation to a certain extent. I like that you learn more about him as the film goes on and he's not just evil for the sake of it. However, I still didn't really understand it all by the end of the movie. It might take a few rewatches or maybe I'll learn more about him in later movies. I don't know, not likely, but I'll see.
Tony himself was certainly interesting to say the least. I was not expecting the subplot with the arc reactor at all, but it was very intriguing. I like how he learns more about himself in a couple different ways, and about - well, no spoilers.
I liked seeing Sam Jackson in a slightly bigger role this time around. S.H.I.E.L.D. and their plans are getting very interesting. Black Widow was also really cool, although no one ever called her by that name.
I wasn't sure how important the military thing would be, but Justin Hammer stole the show. It was also great to see War Machine suit up, although the way it happened was unexpected.
Overall a really fun and interesting movie. It's not as good as the first Iron Man and it left some questions unanswered, but it was the first major continuation of plotlines set up in a previous movie (the first direct sequel), and it was a great time all around.
By far my favorite movie so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! Thor (the character) was absolutely great, and so were Odin and Loki. The family dynamic just worked so well! This was definitely the funniest movie so far also. The stuff on Earth was great, and of course we get more S.H.I.E.L.D. there. The band of scientists led by Natalie Portman was very interesting, and Thor's buddies from Asgard were pretty cool too, although we don't see much of them or get to know them individually very well.
I didn't know much about the Frost Giants before watching this, but boy, were they cool! So was the guard dude, Heimdall (whose name I could never really understand and had to look up).
I honestly can't say too much about this movie without spoiling it, but I don't have to! There's nothing more I need to say, it's hands-down the best movie so far in this series (in my opinion, of course). 10/10, a real treat!

The Dark World? I think the first too Thor movies are the weakest ones.

I am waiting. :eager_anticipation:
(And yes, I realize that you were probably referencing the fact that it is widely considered one of the worst (if not the worst) MCU films to date, but I will make my own opinions, thank you very much. )

Ok then.
Wait until you see Avengers 2.
I'm actually pretty excited for that one, don't try to change my mind.
