|Isengard|
was a great fortress located within a valley at the southern end of the Misty Mountains near the Gap of Rohan. In the centre of the Ring of Isengard stood the stone tower of Orthanc. It was from this valley that the hosts of Saruman beset Rohan ushering in a new age of the Orc.
To the North lies the impassible Misty Mountains. To the East lies the Fangorn Forest. To the South lies the Gap of Rohan. To the West lies Dunland.
The Dunlendings HQ at Dunland is a Sub HQ of Isengard.

{JAMMERS! -Evil!- ONLY!} OK, I've been looking at the map, and I noticed something. If you defend the 2-3 regions in between Isengard and Rohan, then you should be able to send in large numbers of forces to assist immediately in the plan with Dunland. Sending them again Bree and in the High Pass could be awesome. Please respond.

{JAMMERS! -Evil!- ONLY!} OK, so here is Evil's big plan: Moria, Gundabad and Fangorn/Isengard are to keep the main passes across the Misty Mountains. Each HQ will then send a small force over, and together we will Conquer Bree, capture Rivendell and completely conquer them. What you're supposed to do is keep the Gap of Rohan from being a pass for Good Troops. You don't NEED to conquer it, just prevent enemies from getting through. It would also help if you could help Moria in Eregion, but that's not entirely neccesary.

The Gap of Rohan, once known as Gap of Calenardhon was the opening between the mountain ranges of the Misty Mountains and the White Mountains. ~Tolkien Gateway
The Gap is the only way across the barrier formed by the Misty Mts. in this area. Fanghorn is on the east side, while Isengard is partway across. Obviously, I didn't just build a wall that went across the Gap west of Isengard; that would make no logical sense.

Ah, okay. That makes sense I suppose.
so what's the verdict?
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.

Yeah, Isengard is tucked in between two arms on the southern tip of the Misty Mountains. I think you can see it in the map a little bit.

There's a pass in the eastern spur, but it's easily protected with a gate
